It take around 10-15 mins walk to the tube and shopping mall as well. Not much western restaurants nearby, but you can call a cab which takes you around 10-15 mins to Wan Chai where you can find a bar and different choices of international cuisine.

Highly recommend Vela Hong Kong to budget travellers. It's centrally located and very convenient to go to many places in Hong Kong. The hotel is new and the view is nice.

I say a nice stay,we sleep well although the room is two single bed itis quite enough for two adults with two children,nice room and not too expensive,only walking distance to local restaurants,shopping mall and MRT station,very easy to check in and check out,fast room service and the staff is very friendly,for me when i go back to HongKong i will choose again vela hotel for stay
