17th - Arc de Triomphe - Palais des Congres hotels & places to stay

This place is good value for money. There was a sink in the room, which was convenient. The room was clean. The only downside was that there was no lift/elevator and the stairs were narrow and winding, which was problematic for me with my two bags. There was a nice member of the cleaning staff who was kind enough to help me with my bags up several flights of stairs when he saw me struggling. The room wasn't necessarily soundproof, so I could hear people getting up and leaving the hotel early in the morning. However, this place is in a good location and only a 5 minute walk from the metro. It was good value for money and I was quite comfortable. The staff allowed me to leave my stuff with them while I spent my last morning traipsing Paris.

This is a very good hotel. The location is unbeatable. only 3 minutes walk from metro station. The hotel room is small but very clean. The staffs cleaned my room everyday and super clean!!! I enjoyed my stay here. The staffs were very helpful. Free wifi is superb also (as one of my friend he stayed next door in Hotel Victor he needed to pay for the wifi every minute he used!!) Only one thing was, during my stay it's a bit noisy as i stayed on 2nd floor, I awoke in the night everytime when someone walked on the stairs. But it's acceptable, as I am not paying a 5 star hotel price!! Definiately I will stay here again if I come back to Paris :]

The hotel was very clean, I advise them I was a light sleeper and we were located in a room at the back of the property. Perfectly quiet, but you do need to accept there is no view. The hotel has quality furnishings throughout and the bed is very comfortable. The staff we met were all first class. Friendly, helpful, informative and with good English. Location is excellent down a quiet street and close to countless cafes and restaurants. Breakfast good quality ingredients. Rooms are small but as far as I can tell this is normal in Paris. Ours was 14m sq, bit of a squeeze but we managed. On reflection, we may have saved a little if we had pre-booked breakfast as it was we paid 14EUR each per day. Paris is an expensive city so do budget accordingly

good value for money, the hotel staff were realllyy friendly, and the breakfast was great! the room was hot because of summer but this was by far the only hotel that gave a portable air cond. walking distance to moulin rouge, halal food and gift shops everywhere, also near the hop on hop off tour bus's pick up point. the people on metro suggested to stop in rome but place de clichy was closer (line 2).

The hotel is a 3-minute walk to Arc de Triomphe, which means that we can simply walk home after a day of shopping at Avenue Champs Elysees, which we did. It is also a 15-min walk from the Farmer's Market on a Sunday morning which we enjoyed. There are also plenty of small grocers' shops, pharmacies and cafes in the vicinity. The room is sufficiently sized (considering it's Paris) for a family of three with large luggages. The bathroom is quite small but very clean. The towels were slightly rough but the wifi signal is strong. There is no air-conditioning but the fan kept us cool on a hot summer's night. The 24/7 reception had a sufficient command of English and was very helpful. Not only did they help me to book an early morning taxi (6am) on our last day, they also helped me to locate the nearest mailbox for me to post my postcards. I was extremely grateful! Despite not having the amenities in the room, we were also able to get ice and hot water at any time. There is also a microwave oven at the reception for our use. Overall, I had an extremely pleasant stay at Hotel de la Felicite. Merci beaucoup!

Pros: * Very helpful and very nice receptionists (I met 3 of them and they were all outstanding) * Bus stops less than 5-min walk from the hotel Cons: * Very thin walls and floors. I stayed on the lower floors and I could hear every footstep of the people in the room on top of mine. I could also hear every conversation of the guests in the rooms around me. And when someone closes the door, you'll hear that too. * Noisy during the day. I stayed in until lunch time for most of the days I stayed there but couldn't even sleep because either the staff were noisy or the housekeeping process was. * Far from the tourist areas. You can always walk going to them but it's going to be a long walk e.g. Arch de Triomphe is 1 hour walk. Montmartre is around 20-30mins walk. Best to go by Metro or Bus Other notes: * Bring your own toiletries. The hotel provides soap, shampoo and conditioner (i think) but in sachets * Book the top floor (6th) to get minimal noise * They sell bottled water for 2 euros * The hotel may seem very expensive for what it offers but EVERYTHING is expensive in Paris so relative to all the hotels in Paris, this is already cheap. * The hotel has a small lift that can fit 2 persons + 1 medium luggage * Receptionists are fluent in English * Rooms do not have airconditioning so you would need to open the windows if it gets warm inside

I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Darcet. It is less than 5 mins walk from Metro (Place de Clichy- easy to get to anywhere from there). Lovely walk up to Montmarte from here. Even though it is close to the "Red light district", Pigalle, the hotel is not in this area in itself and does not feel unsafe at all (we were three female travellers (my Mum, my and my 12 year old daughter) and never felt unsafe in the area. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were so kind and attentive and personal. They gave us a very late check out as we had a late flight. The hotel is very clean. They give you access to a small kitchen and a dining room so you can bring back food to prepare and eat at the hotel which is very economical. It is excellent value for money and I totally recommend them.

The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, (especially the evening front desk person, Zachary) they're very welcoming staff! The hotel is near a train station, accessible to ubers, or you can walk out to a main street nearby to grab a cab; getting around is very easy. It's also clean, although a bit small. I really enjoyed it there, Zachary did above and beyond during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We planned our whole trip to Paris with the idea of staying in an affordable hotel in a cutting edge area. We booked through the Agoda app our stay in Hotel B Square in the Batignolles area expecting a good budget hotel due to the reviews on TripAdvisor but it exceeded our expectations. From the lobby to the guest room we had a great overall stay at this lodging. The staff is so attentive and compromised to make you feel like comfortable in every way, and answer each one of your requests, even orienting you to avoid certain areas due to the protests in May 1st (which were during our stay). The superior room we booked is 15 m2, big enough to acomódate 2 guests, spotless clean, with everything to make you feel comfortable and a wonderful view of the beautiful Rue de Batignolles. The surrounding area is perfect as Batignolles is a Boho neighborhood with Rue des Dames (at the corner of the hotel) full of nice restaurants, cafes and bars all of them with beautiful crowds of locals in their

If you feel like having romantic time in center of Paris, Arc de Triomphe is one the areas. It has shopping, restaurants, subway to any direction. This is romantic looking place with furniture matching the style. Small but lovely rooms. Maybe a little thin wall so you hear loud Americans. Ask for 5th floor with great view to the street you stay and 100m to Avenue Wagram. I found a weak but free wifi net so I could stay connected for some urgent office work just in case. We have always went out for late breakfast for the local bakeries.

I loved staying in this hotel. Like honestly, truly, I have to say this was a really convenient hotel for us to stay at. It was on a street that led to a whole bunch of shops, cafes and the train station was a five minute walk away. The hotel was cute, the only downside was the small bathrooms. So if you’re trying to have a big bathroom when you stay in Paris, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. But other than that, the customer service was good and room service cleaned the rooms well.

We stayed for 5 nights and loved this small hotel! Only 5 minutes walking from Arc de Triomphe, which is a hub of public transportation. We could reach everywhere we wanted to go within 30 minutes from this hotel. There were lively local grocery shops such as bakery, veg and fruit shop, seafood shop, cheese shop, chocolaterie... etc are just around the corner. Also, many restaurants, coffee shops and bistros are very close. There are 2 supermarkets within 100 ms from the doorstep. Basically, you have everything you need in 10 minutes walking distance. Even it is the centre of the city, the street was surprisingly quiet. The room was very clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable. the staff was nice and friendly. They have free wifi. We found that the wifi speed in our room was weak and sometimes very slow. It was fine when I went down to the lobby. Overall, hight recommended!!

i would have to say that this hotel is a value for money because we have a good stay in this hotel the only problem i think is the location of the hotel its quite a long walk to the subway, and you also have to walk from the hotel lobby going to the main street i mean it quite a long walk for us to get there if your travelling with luggage its quite difficult for you to do so. with their staff i like those girls from the bar because almost everyday we ask for glass and ice cubes they are very helpful and quite funny too, we just had a problem on our last day because we provided our ticket for breakfast and it was really confusing that the lady forgot she took our ticket and ask me and my husband to go on the other side of restaurant because we were not in a big group, we almost gave up on her i asked my husband to let it go and just proceed to check out without having breakfast and my husband insisted good thing after looking at our receipt she allowed us to have our breakfast. goshh

Hotel staff were so helpful & accommodating especially the front office. Best location 5min walk to Ternes Metro Station & Arc de Triomphe plus sooo close to Avenue Carnot where you can take the Les Cars Air France bus to any of the Paris airports. Lovely & functional rooms w/ comfy beds, beautiful sheets & fluffy pillows!!! Its close to a church love it when the church bells ring!!
