Value for Money”
I requested (weeks before we arrived) for a special instructions if they can just fix the bed and surprise greetings for my wife because it’s our anniversary on the day we arrived BUT the staff at reception didn’t SEE the request or forgot it. Came up to the room and nothing special. (I understand because it is just a request). Then a few minutes someone came and brought small cake (for complimentary the guy said) Maybe because theu forgot my request. Location: Perfect. Near MRT, outside bus waiting area, stores/restaurants across the hotel. Mall nearby. Hotel: Great. Clean. Nice ambiance. Staff: Very friendly (though we only talked 3-4 staffs during our stay). Restaurant: The foods are great BUT i hope they change the menu atleast once or twice a week. We stayed 4 days but the breakfast are the same (though it’s delicious) but we want something new for our breakfast. The receptionist/staff at the restaurant are very friendly specially the lady who greets every customer that comes in. Conclusions: It was indeed a good stay and worth the price we’ve paid for.

Superb location and approachable staff!”
We stayed for 4 days with my family and we had a comfortable stay at Amara. The room was spacious compared to most hotels in SG with the same price, the bathroom was exceptionably spacious. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly and helpful. We just wish that breakfast starts an hour earlier like 6:00am rather than 7:00am for travelers with early flights.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Mr William Fong, he was professional, welcoming, friendly and attentive during check in. Check in: it was smooth. Check out: easy, just dropped my room cards in a designated box. Room: My room's layout was good, spacious, cosy and comfortable, has rain shower room with separate bathtub. Large bed. Nice view, 9th floor facing HDBs and Pinnacle@Duxton. Food: Room service, ordered the food from the hotel's website menu(Element Restaurant), tasted good, a bit pricey. For breakfast, to book a day before from the given slots to avoid overcrowding due to Covid, starts from 7am to 8am, 8am to 9am, 9am to 10am, 10am to 11am, at the 1st floor, they offered 4 sets, to pick 1, portion was good, only the coffee, tea and fruit juices were free flow. Easy access to 100AM mall from the 1st floor.

Perfect staycation”
My bf and I had a 3D2N staycation and it was perfect. Everything was clean and we mentioned in the booking that it was our anniversary so the staff at amara decorated the bed with rose petals. It was a very sweet and thoughtful surprise. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Especially raymond and the uncles manning the safe checkin counter. The location is good for foodies as theres cafes, korean food (alot of it) and maxwell centre within walking distance. 100am mall which is just beside the hotel also has alot of food options and dondondonki to buy snacks. We had to book slots to use the pool and there was a staff there at all times to make sure only those that booked are allowed to enter the pool. Water and towels were also provided. Overall we had a very good stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you to everyone at amara that helped make our stay and anniversary such a good one!!

80th Staycation @Amara Hotel”
This was my 2nd stay at Amara in 2 months. The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. The deluxe room is clean and comfortable with a big bed and a spacious well-lit washroom that has a big bath tub. Location is good with the mrt station and lots of eateries nearby. The swimming pool is impressive. I had another great staycation at Amara. Thanks to all who attended to me cheerfully and helpfully. See you all again soon!

It was our first time staying at Amara. Such a pleasant experience staying here. We were served by Wan Ting at the reception who greeted us with a smile and walked us through the check in process. She even upgraded us to a bigger suite. That was exceptional service. We were impressed. Room was clean and everything was in working order. There was even a cake sent to our room and it was delicious! Better than those we had at cafes before. After dinner, we spoke to Oohna at night at the reception and asked for late check out. She did a check and gave us a late check out at 1pm. Overall really pleasant stay here with exceptional staff here who goes out of their way to service you. Would definitely come back again.

Booked 2 rooms, the check in process was smooth with no issues. Thankfully we checked in somewhat earlier - the lobby was flooded with guests waiting to check in later on. Location was perfect with endless food choices. The rooms were large and comfortable. TV was a bit dated, no USB plugs but that was not a problem. Bought an AV cable at a shop nearby because HDMI did not support audio. Overall no complaints. Amara will be my go-to in future!

Great location. Old hotel but well maintained. Breakfast can be better. Flies were found in the sausage pan. Suggest to include covers for food items instead of leaving it open. Food hygiene can be improved.

I'd rate the hotel highly overall except for the fact that the guests in the adjoining room were making a lot of noise throughout the night. I could hear music, talking and laughter throughout the night. I called the front desk once and they quiet down for a while but not long enough to get any real sleep. It's not really the hotel's fault but the security could have told them that if they didn't quiet down, they'd be evicted. 😂

unfortunately the check in process was disappointing as we had to wait for our room. booking got messed up somehow, hotel was full. given a twin bed when we were celebrating our birthday and anniversary. was told that a cake will be sent but none of that happened. only two power point socket was working in the room even after technician came over. despite all that, room was clean and okay for a night. many nearby eateries as well.

The initial contact I had with Amara on the day of the check-in was via call. Spoke to Siti at Front Desk, very pleasant and friendly. Spoke to me with a friend-to-friend vibe, did not felt like it was B2C. Was kindly informed that early check-in was possible and when i reached Amara, Siti welcome me with warmth and had offered a complimentary breakfast. Room gave a private impression although it is surrounded by tall office buildings and stipulated in the CBD area. The highlight of the stay was the surprise complimentary cake for the birthday surprise. Really appreciate the stay and would recommend for others to stay there.

It's my first time staying in Amara, and I'm happy that I made the right choice. I booked 3D2N staycation from 12Sep to 14Sep and I really enjoyed my stay. I invited some friends also to come over. The hotel is well maintained. We love the swimming pool and the gym. The staff are all friendly, from the reception to housekeeping. They are very nice to accommodate my requests, such as early check-in, extra water and wine opener. Special thanks to Raymond, for granting my request for late check-out. Really appreciate it. Hotel was great and location is perfect. Walking distance to Maxwell food center and Lau Pa Sat. Food stalls and market across the street. Only downside on my stay and not to Amara’s fault, Agoda should have mention they were doing renovations to some room. The room next to me or upstairs was being renovated, some I heard drilling and pounding of tools in the morning.
