Great hotel with even greater staff”
While our initial impression of the hotel wasn't the best, it was quickly turned around by how nice and helpful the hotel staff were, very accommodating and went the extra mile for us, and the rooms themselves are pretty amazing value for the money, good breakfast buffet as well. Definitely one of the best hotels in Athens for the nice staff alone..

Initially we were supposed to stay at another of their hotels. When the day came we found out that we were being upgraded to a newer hotel and to an executive junior suite. Very nice... great view ... corner unit ... all nice people from the doorman to the reception to the waiters .... 5 stars ... definitely

Lovely staff and Great Room”
The staff were so lovely, taking our bags up to our room for us and greeting us with champagne flutes with lemonade. The room was perfect with a great shower and very large bed, perfect for our stay. Staff ordered a taxi for us at 4am to the airport. Very friendly and accomodating. The area around isn’t great - lots of strip clubs etc - which is why it’s so inexpensive, but it’s definitely value for money.

I read all the other comments before arriving , as they say the lobby staff try to scam us buy saying we are nt booked under that hotel but under their sister hotel . They say they will get us an upgrade in their sister hotel DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.STAND UR GROUND . Apart from that the hotel is good value for money

It's a nice choice not really far from the centre of Athens. ”
The subway is 700 metres away while most busses stop in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, as I was told, due to the pandemic, the gym was closed and there was no coffee machine in the room, as my booking was stating. Its clean, staff is friendly. They helped me concerning my room. Breakfast is OK. Overall, a nice choice.

We stayed at Athenaeum Palace Suites for 3D2N. We loved the spacious rooms - each room had a large bed, and 2 sofas. The bathroom was clean and showers were nice and hot. The wifi coverage was excellent. Breakfast was decent. The staff were really lovely and kind. Definitely recommended. Just note, Athenaeum Group has 2 locations which are situated about 500m away from each other. We booked the hotel under Athenaeum Grand, but were relocated to Athenaeum Palace Suites when we arrived. It is also about a 30 minute drive to the heart of the city.

Overall nice hotel for a short stay, Staff was friendly. No variety at breakfast, but this might be related to Covid. Car park was small narrow, better be careful. We booked deluxe room, but got only standard double room, so photos and reality does not match.
