+I love the new building nearby mai khai beach just accross the street. +Very clean Now we talking about the minus ; I stayed at Awaken Danang for 6 days and 5 nights. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the free airport pick-up service, which I did receive upon arrival. However, I tried to negotiate for both pick-up and drop-off airport transfers, considering the length of my stay, but the hotel staff refused without any flexibility. Ironically, if I had booked everything separately, I could have gotten both transfers. I chose not to argue further, but honestly, the hotel staff its not so flexible. Another disappointing experience happened on my 4th night. I booked a premier triple partial sea view room, and I had consistently received 3 bottles of mineral water per day. But that evening, there were no bottles on the table as usual. I called customer service to ask why they hadn’t provided the water, and they said they would check with the cleaning team. During the first call, the receptionist insisted the water had already been placed in the room — but I double-checked and found nothing. They followed up with another call after speaking again with housekeeping and claimed that a cleaning staff member had seen me take the water bottles directly from the housekeeping cart in the hallway. This accusation really upset me — why would I take water bottles from the cart? I requested they check the hallway CCTV footage to verify if that actually happened. After a long and unnecessary debate, they finally agreed to give me the 3 bottles I was entitled to. Frankly, it was a ridiculous situation. I didn’t expect a simple request like water to escalate into such a complicated and borderline offensive conversation. I hope the hotel can work on improving their customer service approach — being more trusting and solution-oriented would go a long way. The hotel itself is clean and the facilities are decent, but these small incidents left a sour taste in what could’ve been a more pleasant stay. Your hotel seriously needs to learn the true meaning of hospitality. There’s absolutely no need to argue over something as minor as three bottles of mineral water. I travel frequently and stay in many hotels, and in most cases, they even offer free-flow drinking water without question. It’s disappointing that such a basic amenity turned into such an unnecessary and uncomfortable situation.
We stayed at 3 different hotels in Ðà Nẵng over 7 nights: Awaken, Hilton Garden Inn, and Le Sands. Awaken: Family style room has 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms- no bathtubs. (I don't remember exactly the site which had stated that there are 2 rooms with 1 bathroom). Good things: Rooms are modern, very new and clean, fantastic view, price is reasonable, water pressure is good (19th floor). I was impressed by the enthusiasm and politeness of all department staffs: reception, cleaning service, bell boy, security at basement, pool bar (they treated us like VIPs. Thumbs up to all that). Breakfast with fee. Beach and convenient store was across the street ( 1 min walk). Things needing to improvement: -A/C not strong enough even at the highest setting as compared to the 2 hotels ưe stayed at. - No A/C in hallway - Sometimes A/C in lobby, sometimes not. - Sound proofing was poor.
We requested for a room at high floor and the hotel given us a room at level 23. Throughout our stay the staffs are always attentive, helping us with our luggages, with opening the door, pressing the elevator button and even helped to direct the driver to correct entrance when we ordered Grab Car. The small thoughtful gestures and efforts from the staffs made a great experience for us. The room we had has a floor to ceiling window facing the ocean, every morning we can watch the sun rise. The room itself was clean and spacious with a comfortable king size bed. If there's anything need improving will be the breakfast. We had to queue and wait on our first morning. There are many tour groups staying at the hotel and they seems to eat very early, on our second morning we went a bit latter around 8 and the restaurant was much quieter. Overall this is a great hotel that we gladly come back to.
This was such a wonderful find!!! I'm so glad we found Awaken Hotel. Comfortable bed, complete amenities and nicely spaced room and modern, new. Staff always so helpful and pleasant! We truly enjoyed our stay in Da Nang and this hotel was one of the big reasons why. Breakfast buffet was something we always looked forward to-- exceptional and delicious! Staff was very pleasant too and food choices are yum! I'm a mom who pumps breastmilk so maybe 1 minor comment would be their in-room fridge is small and does not have a big freezer unlike other hotels-- but I still give them 5 stars for letting me store my pumped breastmilk upon check out (and while waiting for our late evening flight home). Since this is a family hotel, it would be ideal to allow pumping moms to store their breastmilk (maybe a separate freezer since I completely understand the hygiene concern) so it will truly be a worry-free experience. We plan to come back with our kids because of the experience!

“New and comfortable hotel ”
It’s nearby the sea, within 15-mins of walking distance to restaurant/supermarket. We take taxi to everywhere we go but all within 20mins of commute time. The seaview is good and quiet as well. The swimming pool is very photogenic. There is a gym but the equipment can only cater for 4-5 people. The breakfast buffet is very good with all kinds of options. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Good value of hotel. But if you want to have a night life, it’s better to stay nearby the Han river side then in this side of beach.
