Nice homestay bud need some improvement”
We had mixed feelings about this property and are not sure whether to recommend or not. First - the location. we were told the beach is about 400 meters walking. it is definitely not cause it´s about 1,5 km to get to the beach so you definitely need motobike. So it´s not a property only couple of steps to the beach. If you are able to ride a moto then it´s a good place to stay - owner has motobikes rental for fair price (but check the brakes first cause there is lot of up and down hills so not to get into troubles when riding down the hill as we almost did!). With moto it´s quite convenient and pleasant though to ride around the island and discover new beaches. The propery is situated right next to the gas station - we thought it might be a problem but it is absolutely not - there is no big traffic at all and if you stay in the room you will not hear anything. Even if you sit at the terrase you can see couple of motos come and go, not heavy trucks so no noise and no problem :-) Rooms - yes they are new, look nice and they have all you need - A/C, fan, TV, fridge, cattle, working wifi. Beds are ok to sleep maybe a bit hard. The problem was the bathroom :( There is glass sink and under it there was a lot of mould it was all black around the sink and really disgusting :(( Even on the courtains in living room you could see the mould :( Also we were not sure if our bed linens were clean when we came, there were some white stains on it :-( The other thing is the room cleaning. We stayed for 1 week and have our room cleaned only once! After 4 days they asked us whether we want to clean the room. Of course we wanted. But the cleaning ment they gave us new bed linens and new towels, took our litter away and cleaned the floor in living room. They didn´t touch the bathroom at all :( Dirty sink, dirty floor in bathroom, dirty shelf :-( We even had to ask for the toilet paper. For us this was the biggest minus of this property! homestay close to main street,very noisy,and far from beach”
I booked this hotel accidently,which I haven't read the comments from other traveller very carefully,First:this homestay has five rooms,room close to main street where there is a gas station,So many Motobike came to fuel with start and stop,It is very noisy,and room close to main street,at the first day I live,I hardly can get asleep.Second:The homestay is far from beach,the nearest beach is 15 minutes' walk away.It is a long distance.However,the owner of the homestay is very friendly,He can buy boat ticket between trat and koh kut without surcharge.and He is always with smile,even I was a little disappointed at first,but get used to the homestay very soon.

Not on beach, doesn't need to be. Beaches every where, 4 to 14 minutes on your 250 baht per day mtrcyc. The hotel/motel is spacious and new. The owners on premises, friendly helpful. Beaches: you will "run around" anyway, why pay 3x's as much for On the beach? This place was great

The room was really modern and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view from the nice veranda wasn't the best I ever had but the location is very quiet at night. We also had a good scooter for a fair price. I would book again.

Pour arriver confortablement”
Un établissement neuf donc impeccablement propre ! L'emplacement n'incite pas à prolonger son séjour ici : vue directe sur la route (peu fréquentée en mai) et la station service (à 30m de la petite terrasse) dont l"établissement est une extension. Aucun meuble dans la chambre hormis le lit et la table de chevet (pas pratique: preque tout reste dans la valise...). Frigo neuf mais BrUyAnT (donc pas utilisé). Bouilloire thermos ok. Douche chaude. Climatisation. Ventilateur. TV quasi 100 % thaïe (2 chaînes laotiennes, 1 néerlandaise). Scooter à 200 B/jour sur place. Petite épicerie attenante (pratique à l'arrivée). La seule banque (4mn à pieds.8h30/15h30) assure le change au cours officiel. L'ATM, le seul, ne fonctionne pas pour "nous" (seulement les cartes thaïes). Donc prévoir réserve d'espèces avant d'arriver ! Massages traditionnels académiques (aïe!) de qualité (4mn à pieds [bis]) dans l'enceinte de l'hôpital. Et un patron sympathique et arrangeant paralant très peu anglais (très fréquent sur l'île). Première plage accessible en 3mn à scooter. Une île vraiment paisible en mai car peu de tourisme et retour à la vie locale "ordinaire". Susceptible de beaucoup changer dès la prochaine saison car nombreux chantiers d'hôtels (ou idem) en achèvement ou en démarrage... Conclusion : Ban Aow Thaï une bonne adresse pour se poser confortablemnt à l'arrivée et prospecter parmi les (déjà) nombreux autres établissements très peu fréquentés actuellement (favorable pour négocier le prix). Prix payé : 128 € (1€=40Baths) pour 4 nuits. Rapport qualité-prix juste satisfaisant à cette époque de l'année.

房子很漂亮啊”
房间很宽敞漂亮啊，12平米的描述太保守了，还有露天小阳台，除了离海边有点远（不过步行十几分钟就能走到其中一个沙滩），房子特别好啊，还有个小花园，老板就在隔壁的加油站，所以租摩托车或者买票什么的业务都可以直接在酒店办理，很方便，不过老板的英语比较一般，有的时候沟通稍微有点不那么流畅

老板人太好了，住的地方也很棒”
在老板家住了四天，沙滩潜浮游艇都是老板带我们去的而且也不贵。设施很齐全，早上还有免费的自助早餐每天都可以吃到饱。门口就有加油站所以在老板那里租摩托车很方便。老板家还有两只哈士奇超级乖，如果有吃完的肉，剩下的骨头就给它们，晚上他们会看家所以睡的一直很好很放心。老板人超好，老板人超好，老板人超好，重要的事情说三遍。
