Very great location. Less than 5min from the MRT. At the heart of Chinatown so everything is accessible - food, shops, etc. I would recommend to stay in this area when you're in SG because it is cheap (for SG standards). The hostel is fine. Would recommend that they put bidet in toilets and privacy curtain for top bunks. Overall, great stay.

I love it bcs it's located in Chinatown street market. So Chinese! But, the toilet is quite tiring bcs it's only located on the 1st floor, so we have to walk down if we get the 2nd floor room. Oya, it's truly subjected to sleep, means, the situation inside is not pretty comforting.

This is not the first time I've stayed at this place. I usually came here because it's very near to my meetings. The staffs are kind. This is right in the heart of Chinatown. Where you could pretty much walk to all the attractions.

Good things - v. Good breakfast with coffee and tea - location is perfect right beside Mrt station and 15 mins walking to marina bay and avaliable shopping for any thing you need and cheap food court . Bad things : - not safe there is broken door in the first floor any one can get inside - the front office is avaliable until 4 pm only after that she leaves notes to the new guests with number of their beds and rooms - no air conditioning or tv in the leaving room just a fan - the bathroom and shower are so small - the locker is old type and not safe

Toilet has no bidet shower. someone has left the toilet dirty and no any staff clean it. So I have to go out and use toilet at the restaurant or coffee shop instead... Due to the abnormal situation about the outbreak, I shared room with 1 staff, he got cough and sneeze all night. I cannot move to the other room even the room was empty... I cannot sleep well all night. This is the most tired trip I ever had!!! The overall of this place is ok, especially location is very close to mrt chinatown (exit a). And nothing bother me except just one thing. However, you can stay a little bit far from mrt station to get more facilities and quality.

The excellent location is what makes this hostel has good value for money. The room is super basic and small but each bed has its own lamp and power socket. Toilets and shower rooms are not separated by genders and there were only 4 of each. They were not very clean and some of the doors cannot close properly. If I would stay again at this hostel, it would be because of the location.

the price is cheap in Singapore. The location is at Chinatown, it will be full of people when night. But the toilet door is hard to close and also the bathroom is quite small , i stay at the room Hokkien it's girls dorm. The bed is too soft and abit dirty because many dust. BTW, its still a nice stay which cheap price , the reception girl is helpful and kind :)

Staff was nice and helpful. Location very good. But rooms are small and without windows. Showers and toilets not so clean. Very basic breakfast, if you are allergic to gluten or you are lactose free you will not find anything for yourself. No black coffee you can get just coffee in 3 in 1 bags which produce a lot of plastic trashes.

Cheap accommodation...so it's not so clean and spacious. My room was damp and crowded. The toilets and shower rooms are not easy to lock and very small. I supposed to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for only 2 nights. I'd suggest u get a more expensive option!

If I could go back, I would pay more to stay somewhere more comfortable. First of all, the bathrooms on the first floor are horrendous. Very tight and smells. The showers downstairs also horrible. There is no ventilation system so it smells. Also there were many small bugs flying around. I brought this to the staff’s attention and was told something would be done but nothing happened. In the end we ended up showering upstairs. However, most of the locks upstairs and downstairs are broken. We stayed stayed there for 4 days 4 nights and on the 2nd day the AC started leaking. The staff noticed and put a towel down to soak up the water. When it started getting worse, we told the staff and we were told someone would be there to fix it. It leaked so much it flooded the hallway. When we came back it was still the same but we were leaving the next morning so didn’t have time to say anything. Also the security was laughable. The bathroom on the 2nd floor is outside and there’s a door with a code separating the hostel from the bathroom. But the door wasn’t closed properly most of the time so anyone walk in. Moreover, each rooms didn’t have locks or codes. In the end, I would advise not to stay here. Yes it was cheap but I would pay more to have peace of mind.
