Acacia Hotel - Excellant Value for Money”
very relaxing. you need a car to get about as the hotel is remote. if you are travelling on the emirates road (e11) take exit e119 go straight and the hotel is about 10km on the right hand side. don't travel into ras al khamia as you may get lost. if you pass the e119 travel to the end of the e11 and take a left at the roundabout (in the opposite direction of rak city) travel about 15km until you see the al hamra mall on your right take the first u-turn after mall and turn right before ceramic tiles go straight and acacia is 4 minutes on your right hand side. excellent valve for money you won't be disappointed!

We had an amzing two days at RAK while staying at Acacia hotel, and I can say thanks to Amran at the reception who was really helpful and kind. Our room got upgraded for free among other free entertainment facilities Amran offered to us... beach access, kayaking and pool bar!! Definitely we are going back there again and again :)

Great customer service, but facilities needs to improve”
My stay with Bin Majid Acacia Hotel is always pleasant with the Courteous staff, and excellent Reception team. They will not let you go without having your needs fully met. Just a little improvement on the facilities, most shower doors have loose rubber edges, which is an accident hazard, the electricity outlet are randomly switched off ( you need to figure out where is the working ones) and the hotel chairs are very few.

Not proper assistance and consideration of Emergency Situation.”
I booked through Agoda.com and got a very nice deal for 2 rooms on BB for check-in on 4th & out on 5th, but due to an unfortunate situation which ended us up in hospital we could not visit & kept on asking the hotel's reservation one day earlier of arrival to postponed, cancel or refund as they can sell these 2 rooms in much higher price as this day been declared as Eid which was not expected. The booking was prepaid non-refundable through Agoda they mentioned that all is in Agoda's hand, & I got replied from Agoda that they have requested the Hotel, but hotel did not accepted, I would never book through any booking website & non-refundable as the Hotel does not consider the situation and their ongoing relationship. I am a hotelier too and aware that some solution could be offered. Specially when I mentioned that give any other dates to stay which could be any day in low season. It shows that the guest stay or does not stay no matter but the hotel has received the payment. Thank you

Just Okay”
Fine, but not great: We spent 5 nights at the Acacia while in town for business. The Agoda listing indicates that the hotel has free wifi in public areas but that is not true. All wifi must be paid for: it’s 50 durhams for 24 hours of wifi, or 100 durhams for 7 days, and can only be used on one device at a time. The internet was good quality, though a bit slow between 5pm and 7pm. There is a business centre that has one computer with cable internet access, but the business centre looks like a boardroom with a desk in the corner, with no printer or scanner. The pool was nice, but had very little sun. For the price, the hotel was okay, and the location was close to lots of hotels and other meeting areas.

The hotel was very posh with reasonable price”
The hotel was very lovely, and the room was very comfortable. It overlooks a private beach. Booking via Agoda, I managed to get a very good price. As the place had little attraction, I was very happy that the accomodation was top standard. So overall I enjoyed my short 2 days stay there. Additionally, it was close to a decent mall, so food was easily accessible.

Management gone bad”
It is far by the worst stay ever. A lot of maintenance needs to be done. Acacia was one of our favorite. The food is terrible as well as the service. Furniture are worn out. It's sad to see a once very lovely, full of life place crumble down. It's like s ghost hotel now. I think they need to do a major revamp in the management. We even witnessed staff fighting in front us and staff fighting with customer.

Perfect Hotel in RAK”
We enjoyed our stay here. Ms. Sarah from the Hotel Reservations is very accommodating and she provided what we have requested like a nice view and king-sized bed. It was just a little delayed for the check-in but it was fine. The price is affordable and reasonable. I will give high score for the CLEANLINESS and for their FOOD. Only the Housekeeping was not that good because they gave us (1) towel only in our room and it took too much time to provide us another (1). They have a private beach access from the hotel and they have a free shuttle to go there in the morning and afternoon. This hotel is good for families, couples and even solo travelers.

Very nice hotel with great location”
it was only one night stay, due to time constraints i could not think of extending it but it was so nice. if i would go for outing within country again, i would prefer the same hotel again. the hotel is located in desert but it is like a shining star in dark. the diner was so nice but bit expensive and rooms were bit small too as there was no space for cofee table inside the rooms. we enjoyed the belly dance while having diner in swimming pool area and so as the breakfast in same restaurant.

Front Desk Staff needs more training”
We came as a delegation attending a conference, arriving in several batches from Friday midnight all throughout the weekend. It's not my first time in hotels, but it was apparent that some of the receptionists could use a bit more training as they keep on asking one another about the procedures; I wouldn't really mind that but what caught me and disappointed me is how most of them display total apathy towards guests. I felt like we were talking to robots who couldn't wait to get it over with and finish their jobs. As a hotel guest, I've always expected that feeling of being welcomed....I didn't get that here. Training & development need to remind their front desk to hone up their soft skills. Facilities are nice enough and my stay had been comfortable. Their only saving grace for the staff were the bellboys who were attentive and friendly to guests, and the front desk staff who attended to me when I was checking out, Adrian. He seems competent and friendly. He knows how to relate to guests, and I felt like this is how hotel staff should be--hospitable and professional. If it weren't for the 2 attentive bellboys and Adrian, I felt like the staff training had been absent. HR needs to increase training on this aspect.

Short Vacation”
This is my fourth stay at the Hotel. In case you want to enjoy a runaway with a limited budget, ACACIA is your destination. They offer free Beach access to Bin Maged Beach Resort. My only Negative point is that the low temperature of the swimming pool. During winter season, they should warm up the water as it is very cold especially if you have kids.

Good value for business”
The staff are always helpful and smiling, there is plenty of choice with the Al la carte menu, however, I would recommend the all inclusive buffet which are excellant value for money. the facilities are very good with a temperature controlled pool. Unfortunatly i only stay for business and do not get time to enjoy all the other facilities.

Great staff, comfortable stay, value for money”
I stayed with my family for one night on 1st Feb 2019 and I can say the whole experience was just excellent, right from check-in where Mr Adnan checked us in in less than 90 seconds. As myself being from the customer service industry for the last 26 years, I could feel the service provided by Adnan was from the heart. He not only got us the room keys in record time, but when I mentioned it’s my wedding anniversary, he also immediately arranged a complimentary cake and was kept in my room upon our return in the evening. The next day as we got a bit late from the other Bin Majid Resort, he allowed us for a late check-out thus relieving me of the pressure of sorting and packing specially with 3 kids. All in all excellent service and I will definitely be visiting again.

One Night Stay”
We looked for several hotels online but this one was the cheapest. If you are going to RAK for a night or two and you need an economical stay, this hotel is good for you. As you are paying the lowest price, you should not expect a five star treatment. Thought the staff is really polite and helpful, the furniture is old and shabby. The room is small and had low light (I guess they tried the romantic look). It is not suitable for book reading at all. We also tried the in-house restaurant and the experience was not pleasing. I do not want to go into details but you should visit the food court of Al Hamra mall which is at 5 minutes drive rather than eating in hotel. All in all, an economical solution if you are trying to explore the city and just going back to hotel and night.
