Great location, easy to find transportation and plenty of food options. There are bars and restaurants right in front of the hotel and food stalls along the street. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and the bathrooms have a bathtub and hot water. Housekeeping comes to clean every day. There is a swimming pool and the breakfast is delicious. The most impressive thing is that there is a shared computer for guests to use.

Everything is good except the service.”
Great hotel with good food, service, staff, rooms, and beautiful views. However, the hotel parking is limited and we were only allowed to park for 2 nights. On the first night, we returned to the hotel at 5 pm and were told that there was no parking available and we had to park on the road. We understood the situation, but on the second night when we returned after 2 pm, the same staff member told us that the parking was full and we had to park in the lower level of the parking garage where there were only 3 spots available. We were confused about how to handle the parking situation and hope that the hotel can address this issue.

Great location,affordable stay but…”
Love the location of Bluesotel, great accessibility to the beach, 7-11,cafes,groceries and if you need to explore more food options,the tuk tuks are always there…just standby 100 baht per way for nearby or 150 baht to Aonang landmark area. And they make the best caramel machiatto and cafe latte,the best I’ve tasted. Integrity is important to me and I really respect the people working in this hotel. They are honest with me regarding their food preparation because even though they cater to muslim travellers but as muslims,the preparation of food is important as it needs to be from a halal-certified kitchen so when I saw pork, i knew the kitchen is not from a halal-certified kitchen because they do serve pork and alcohol. However this is no fault of theirs because afterall,it caters to tourists from all over. But for muslim travellers, please eat at your own discretion. The hotel staff recommended us halal eateries nearby and the area near the Al Munuawarah masjid is packed with loads of halal food. Spoilt for choice. We stayed on the topmost floor level 7 for 4D3N and my children had their own room however due to safety and their well-being,we did not allow them to be at the balcony because in Krabi, weed is readily available and even though the hotel specifically mention no smoking,we smell weed from the balcony area and it’s really strong. The hotel is not at fault, travelers should respect hotel’s no smoking policy. I wouldn’t recommend families with young children to be here,perhaps better for couples or families with older children. We discovered the Kids Club,well-maintained and clean so even though the hotel made their best effort to cater for families with young children,perhaps they could allocate families separated from those who are traveling solo/couples and strictly enforce on the no smoking policy. Cleanliness so far is ok,comfortable beds,great AC and even though reviews by others mentioned there are moulds on the tiles in the toilet,well…it wasn’t that bad for us. It is not exactly a new hotel but at least there are no insects or bugs and it’s manageable.
Squeaky Clean Room”
This was my second stay in Bluesotel in Ao Nang. The location is just nice, not too far from most restaurants, shopping area and other shops. The room is super clean, trust me. I watched it myself how the staff clean the room. One staff was so thorough that he used a toothbrush to clean the sliding door's gap! The bed was perfect. I had a good night sleep as the blanket snuggled me til morning, accompanied by a nice air-conditioning. If you decide to book this hotel, go for the pool-access room. You will never regret it. The pool is clean, wide enough for a swim or two, & illuminated beautifully at night. Breakfast spread is just adequate to fill an empty stomach. I had no complaint on it. All in all, great place to stay if you come to Ao Nang, especially if you come as a couple.

Frankly, I can't say enough good things about BlueSotel Krabi: location, location, location -- it is in a prime location in the Ao Nang beach area. It is an approximate 10min walk to the main beach area where they put on AMAZZZING fire shows. No joke, the best fire shows I have ever seen in my life (and I have seen a lot of fire shows)! It is essentially located on the main strip in the middle of all the action; very close to so many great bar/restaurants, massage parlors, shopping spots, etc. The staff was very accommodating and even offered a free upgrade to a pool view room, which was greatly appreciated. The double beds in the room were great two -- instead of two single beds, they offered 1 queen sized bed and 1 single bed. The hotel is very modern trendy in appearance and it is kept in immaculate condition. The staff was great and quick attended to anything we needed like more towels, toiletries, pillows, and fixed a shower issue in record breaking time. The rooms are great looking, clean, and have everything you need (although if you are over 5'8 you probably won't fit in the bathtub, but it is still great to be able to wash off in the tub after getting sand everywhere). The pool area is beautiful and stays quite busy compared to other hotel/resorts I stayed out during my 5 weeks in S. Thailand. I didn't try out the hotel bar/restaurant bar but the food looks reasonably priced and it is also aesthetically pleasing. The only thing more I would have liked is a potentially later checkout time than 12:00 pm; but that was not a major issue. The only other thing to note is that the hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast with bookings and the restaurant doesn't open until 11am I believe. But, this is not an issue because it this area of Ao Nang there are soooo many local spots to grab breakfast at .
