My Disappointing birthday trip”
All good but no wifi and weak data reception. aircon condenser was too noisy during the night. the resort location was too far in and transpo was expensive because of if. our island tour trip c/o the resort was “bitin”. Only got to see 3 of the 5 spots in the package. only liked 1 which was the Natago Beach. there were no turtles at the Turtle Sanctuary.

No road access - lucky I'm good at riding my motorbike across the beach - no TV as advertised - no fridge - broken air con - only 1 towel - used toothpaste was all that was offered in the shower room - previous occupants rubbish in sideboard - but the bed was comfy. I dare not mention the pool changing facilities ! Finally the place had a spooky feel .... -

This is a big jock”
This hotel is totally not a hotel ... everything is dirty ... To arrive there , there is no road you have to walk on a dirty beach full of dog poo, bottle and plastics.... Then at the hotel the pool is the same dirty with a lot of strange thing inside. The hotel beach is the same you can't even swim the sea is brown. We stayed there 3h then déçue to leave the place.

Overall it was fine. Just travel with a lot of people because it's very far and hard to find a transport. The place was well maintained. Nice gardens and rooms.

A REALLY QUIET AND RELAXING HOTEL”
CABALING IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET AWAY FROM THE CITY AND TO RELAX BY THE OCAEN. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE THE BOAT FROM ILOILO TO THE CABALING RESORT'S PRIVATE DOCK. IT'S MUCH QUICKER AND MORE ADVENTUROUS. IF NOT THEN YOU TAKE A MULTICAB TO THE AREA AND WALK ALONG THE BEACH TO GET TO THE RESORT. NOT A HARD WALK UNLESS YOU ARE DRAGGING SUITCASES BEHIND YOU! THE RESORT IS SO QUIET AND PEACEFUL, IT'S THE PLACE TO RELAX AND RE-CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES!

overall, ok but not one to repeat , disappointing room comfort and poor restaurant coupled with average staff performance made this unexceptional and actually disappointing.

Stay somewhere else”
This was a last-minute booking and I seriously regret it. This resort has the potential but failed in so many ways: Staff: The WORST! No smiles at all, as if we were a nuisance. When we asked to have breakfast at 7am, they only started preparing for it at 7 am, and the wall clock was 15 minutes late. Did not even help with our bags. Did not clean our room prior to arrival.Did not provide umbrella as it was raining (for when going to the restaurant from the rooms). Some just stand around while you eat and stare blankly as if waiting for me to finish eating. Management: They were not aware of our booking therefore the room was not prepared. Accessibility: OMG! If you have booked a car/multicab from Jordan port, the journey would be easier. In our case, we only got the tricycle and had to endure 40 minutes of unforgiving road going to the resort. Then had to walk along the shore and when the tide is high, guests had to walk through the nearby houses just to reach the shore. Facilities: The only saving grace to this place. The pool was nice, they have billiard pool as well(need to pay though), and videoke machine, restaurant was ok.Room was nice with big bed, day bed,balcony, AC, cable, hot/cold shower.No WIFI! Housekeeping:Did not provide toiletries except for a sachet of colgate and a USED soap on the sink. No trash can in the room either.A few cigarette butts in the balcony even after the "cleaned" it. Sleep quality: Forget about tranquility. The staff was too noisy singing videoke downstairs. Also the door to the rooms are not secure. No locks from the inside and the door jam is loose, so when the wind blows,it creates a knocking sound. We had to use the table to block the door. Overall, please dont stay here. It's a waste of your money.

A quiet getaway”
We stayed there for 2 nights and would return. Getting there is pretty straight forward, ferry from Iloilo then either a trike or multi-cab to the resort which is a 45 minute ride, we took a trike for 300 pesos, multi-cab is 600. The last half of the ride was over a very rough road which hasn't seen a grader in a long time. When you are dropped off it is a 10 minute walk across a beach to the resort, there are a lot of stairways on the ground so I would not recommend it for a handicapped person. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are quite large by Filipino standards, nicely appointed with a large balcony looking over the beach/ocean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was quite good but a limited menu with 3 or 4 daily dishes available. It isn't really feasible to go to San Miguel for dinner as far as I am concerned with the resort being quite out of the way and no other local restaurants. There is no internet access but the cell service is fine, I got internet via a dongle wifi hookup. There are 2 beaches both not very big, the saltwater pool was quite big and nice. The terrain is pretty rugged so not many places to walk or hike. I would recommend it for being a quiet relaxing place where you can do a lot of reading. It is not a resort area like Borocay or Cebu. Alles in Ordnung und Pool mit schöner Aussicht”
Alles in Ordnung. Das Personal weiss aber nicht wie man ein Bad und die Toilette reinigt. Ein Beswn allein nützt hier nichts. Das müssten sie noch lernen. Ansonsten gut.
