My 1st trip was rescheduled for security reasons...ammendments were not allowed supposedly because of the promo rates during booking. But i explained to the staff on why i needed to reschedule and they were more than glad to accommodate my request. On the same day i also had a booking in another hotel for my statf that i was travelling with but to my dismay they wer not as considrate that i had to call Agoda in the US to help me with my concern... Its indeed great to book with a prestigous hotel such as SEDA in Cagayan De Oro City...

As usual, I always look for and stay in a Red Planet Hitel and whenever I am in Cagayan de Oro City., this isy defsult hotel. The facilities are always ckean, minimalist and streamlined. The staff us akways hekpful? Kind, but veru professional and firm. The ladt time I stayed there I slipped in the wet, slippery showeroom. The staff was very concerned and eventually adked fir suggestions on how they they can make the area safer. I suggested that they probably should put safety holding bars in the shower rooms as well as provide intercoms/emergency phones as there are none. This is very important for elderly guests who cannot gi diwn to the libby all the time whenever they need something. Other than that, RedPlanet CDO is excellent And uts lication is superb too!. I hope it stays that way!

I like the place but to be honest, I don't like my stay this time. I'm with my kids and it's their second time to visit the place and unfortunately they choose the place because they like and the wifi because it's s good among the hotels we've been to in Cagayan de Oro. But this time the wifi sucks and I wasn't able ti do my online works, email and other onlien transactions. One day without wifi is considerable but the whole week of staying with NO wifi, is not a good idea. I hope this will be the last time it will happen to the connections. Get everything fix as is comftable of staying the place. Thanks !

The place is good cos they have the cheaper option for single travelers with a standard single bed for the bedroom. Location is excellent in city centre and it's near public transport, eateries, malls and the Universitiee. Breakfast is great pinoy food and they serve you in bed (that's why it's call ("Bed & Breakfast")! The staffs are generally helpful and friendly and initially I wanted to stay for 1 night only, but decided to extend my entire stay for another 4 nights in Cagayan De Oro city, before flying back to Cebu. Highly recommended!

New Dawn Plus was a hassle-free accommodation. The room was comfortably spacious, with a street view, and let in the morning sun; linen were soothingly soft and fragrant, smelling of sun-dried laundry; amply supplied with toiletries. The staff were quick to respond to any call, be it fixing the television set, or checking on the wifi. Breakfasts were conveniently served at the next-door Kuya J's, which offered a spread of traditional breakfast. The unlimited coffee was oh-so-good. Will consider booking with New Dawn Plus the next time Cagayan de Oro City beckons.

Rich Manor is always been my first choice when it comes to "where to stay in Cagayan de oro City". I've been to this Pension House twice and as always they never failed to satify me. Location wise beyond 5 stars. When you want go chill or malling its just a few steps away literally. My boyfriend and I loves to stay here because we can explore Cagayan de Oro in just merely walking(budget wise) hehe going to Centrio Ayala, SM Premier to Limketkai with the help of Google Map..hehe Staffs are friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend tnis Pension House and ofcourse use Agoda (because they have discounts) Thank hou

I booked this only a day before my check-in. Booked a single standard room for only P350!! Saw the regular rate at St. Nicholas Inn and it is at P600/night. The staff here are very friendly. I was at room no. 8 at first but wifi can't reach that room so I asked to be transferred to room no. 1 instead where wifi is strong. They agreed and the staff is still smiling. They greet or smile at you whenever they see you. Since it is just P350, I thought the room is not ok but it is actually ok. Airconditioning is good, cr is good too and the entire room is ok and clean. Towel and toiletries like soap, shampoo, and tissue are available. There's hot shower too! Good location. Busy street but it is still in the city center. It is in front of the market. Close to Gaisano and Ororama. A little busier than Divisoria though. Me, my sister and my mom were checked in at the Grand City hotel at Divisoria prior to my stay here.

I was in Cagayan De Oro for a business trip and unfortunately, my go-to hotel was fully booked. Arrived earlier that expected and asked if we could check-in earlier but they told me that we had to pay extra to check-in early. Upon checking-in, I noticed that the beds were smaller compared to the usual ones that the other hotels have. The hotel had a Bar in the top floor. We first stayed at the 6th floor but due to the noise that the bar was making, we asked the manager to move us to another room. Wifi was a little slow. The toilets were subpar. The only good thing about that hotel was the air-conditioning. Extra Pillows cost P50/day. Their breakfast is ala carte not buffet. Choices were silog meals. Poorly cooked, eggs were burnt, coffee was a little cold and they don't start serving until 7am (which is kinda inconsiderate for guests that have an early or long day ahead). Safe to say, I will not be booking at this hotel again and I do not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

This is the first time I've stayed at this hotel .. following a return to Cagayan de Oro after 6 years .. only appx 15-20 min walk to Ayala Centrio and SM Malls .. and a 5 min walk to the square where you can find all the usually fast food places, McDonald's, Jolibee, Chowking , Burger King etc .. From arrival to departure the staff , receptions, waiters, security , housekeepers where all very pleasant.. and always very helpful .. excellent ( all you can eat ) buffet breakfast .. salamat kaayo and god bless

I would stay that this inn is great that despite I enter the building late night they still have people that will accomodate you. I arrived from Davao city in Cagayan de oro around 11pm and I used my Agoda App to look for any cheap inn that would let me stay for a night but as I checked in their O felt like I still wanted to stay. location wise, it is awesome because you can locate it at the heart of the city and with that you will have an easy access to most of establishment in Cagayan de oro. I am recommending it to everyone.

If you are fussy about the surrounding area, then this is not for you. This is a small road with local people walking or chatting on the sidewalks/ street. But since I am local, I was not scared. Just take care of personal belongings while walking. Location -wise, I was able to walk to 3 malls --Centrio, SM City, and Limketkai Mall. Although the locals told me, LKK Mall is a bit far, it's not a hassle if you can walk 10 minutes instead of taking a taxi or tricycle. All staff were friendly and helpful.

We were looking for a hotel near food places. Mallberry offers such a convenient location. It's near 2 of the biggest malls in Cagayan de Oro, Limketkai Mall and Ayala Centrio. There's a nearby supermarket,Robinsons. The buffet breakfast was nice. the gym personnel, bellboys, all the staff were very polite. They always greet us when we pass them by. We were provided with clean towels and sheets every day. Also, it's near Magnum terminal for airport shuttle. They even provide pick-up and drop-off on the doorstep of the hotel. My boyfriend and I had a hassle-free stay. Over all, it's a good value for money. If you're looking for an average-priced hotel which has a convenient location and friendly staff, this is the hotel for you. My boyfriend is Singaporean and he swears he will choose this hotel again the next time we visit Cagayan de Oro City.

A perfect place to stay if you're just planning an overnight tour to cagayan de oro. The room is simple, airconditioning system is good, they have hot and cold shower just what you need after a day of city tour or white river rafting. Plus it's very affordable. Van and bus to balingoan port is readily available (going to camiguin). The only downside is, it's within the market area. A lot of people with try to hustle you so be very careful and vigilant. Beware also of pick pockets. Take care of your belongings very well. Don't leave any valuables unattended. Some vans also overpriced so make sure to ask the hotel staff before taking your ride.

I really liked this hotel. Good: + Bed was very comfortable. Good comforter, awesome pillows. Always slept really good! + AC ! get cooled on really hot days. Also had big AC in lobby!. + Free water (machine that can give you hot or cold water) + Clean. Just hang sign and they will clean room, or ask personell. + Service - they helped with all problems ( the few we had ) + Free Wifi (sometimes became slow, but due to hotel is new and not so big it was mainly good) + Good tv - Alot of channels to choose from. Me as foreigner had a variety of channels to see. Bad: - Facilities, since the hotel is fairly new, they dont have gym, or pool, or casino, or anything like that. - Shower wasnt in a closed area, so everytime you shower it leaked out water in bathroom. But it was more than adequate for the visit. - Lack of hangers and or places to store clothes. There was two night stands, and a moveable small desk under the tv. Recommending this to anyone visiting Cagayan de Oro

Our stay at Hotel Sogo - Cagayan De Oro was an pleasant one. Front desk personnel were welcoming, our rooms were comfortable enough, clean & air-con adequate. Food was reasonably priced despite being on the conservative size portion-wise, but it tasted pretty good & was filling. Transport to & from the hotel into town or markets is easy to get; just walk outside & hail a cab, jeepney or tricycle. Enjoyed our stay whilst there. It will be some years before we visit Cagayan D Oro again, but if Hotel Sogo is still around then & has done the usual regular upgrades, we will stay there again. Maria, Australia.

Location of the condo unit was beside Ayala Centrio and near SM CDO. It was okay with utensils and small appliances for heating food. The extra bed is actually an extra mattress without any cover. Wifi wasn't working at all or maybe it was just bad reception. Condo staff especially the guards were arrogant and rude, we asked if we could talk to the unit owner to make a few changes on the check-in time and other arrangements but he just shoved us away and did not bother to listen. They did not give an extra key which I think is very vital especially if your a group of 3 when checking in. Anyway, the price of this for a nights stay in not worth it. I could find a better unit for half of the price.

I think I already did this review. I won't come back on this place but I can recommend this to those who are not fussy. The price does not commensurate to what you get. There is no wardrobe to hang your clothes especially if you are staying for 7 days. No hair dryer a very basic needs for women with long hair like me. There are hotels in Cagayan de Oro City ( City I was born and bred) much cheaper than Centrio tower with better amenities and toiletries.

The place was clean and big enough for 3 adults and 1 toddler. Originally we were booked at a specific room but was transferred on the day of check in since the owner (i guess) thought, that the original room assigned to us doesn’t have enoigh amenities for 3 adults. Not bad! The only problem i encountered is the parking area but it was understandable simce it is a condo, priority for parking are for those unit owners. Other than that, the place was really really nice. You can use the pool for a minimum fee.

there are actully grocery items which u can cook or consume just pay it wen u check out, its really cool and the place is very clean, you get to still feel the fresh air for its location is not that close to city’s busy cosmopolitan road that is full of smoke. it is very peaceful and secured. they have thas veru attentive guards on duty 24/7 and the owner is always there to assist your needs and other concerns.

Goodnews Travellers Inn is a one-stop budgetel which you'd surely love to stay every time you visit the City of Golden Friendship. At 850Php, you already get to stay at a very clean and SPACIOUS room contrary to the ones I have booked during my prior CDO visits. GTI has good amenities too. It may not have pools and bars as it is only a two-star hotel, but it has flat screen TV and HOT AND COLD SHOWER, both of which really added COMFORT to my stay. Goodnews Travellers Inn has a VERY GOOD LOCATION. It is situated near Ayala and Limketkai Mall, hence making it CONVENIENT for tourists like me. GTI has EXCELLLENTLY TRAINED STAFF too. Their front desk officers are very friendly and flexible. They really made sure that I have maximized my two-day vacation to the extent that they offered to book my ferry ticket to Cebu City so that I could still buy pasalubongs during my last few hours in Cagayan de Oro City. I have stayed in quite a number of budgetels in Cagayan de Oro City but so far, this is the best one (overall). To be very honest, I was quite hesitant to book here at first but just because Trip Advisor's reviews lured me to do so, I did... and that was an unexpectedly yet TRULY GREAT DECISION.
