Staff were very accommodating and assisted with a change to our booking. The room was very small and would be perfect for 2 adults but we were three...the main issue is lack of storage. If you traveled without any bags is would be fine, but on a ski holiday we had a fair bit of stuff. The bed is an enormous super king, which is far too big for the room. The sofa-bed works well and had a window view. The window opened a few inches which was crucial as the room AC was noisy and either too hot or too cold. In Japan you can sleep with windows open even in big cities because there is almost no car horn 'tooting' going on! Small fridge was great and there were cups and glasses galore but very little in the way of tea-bags or condiments. No closet, no usable drawers or shelves. I think a clever design of the room would have provided solutions here. Bathroom was the smallest I have experienced in many trips to Japan. Onsen was fabulous and highly recommended. Free luggage storage.

An Excellent Hotel in Osaka”
This hotel offers a lot, and I got a very good price for it. The location is amazing, right in the middle of Namba, and close to train stations. Everything was perfectly clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I was impressed with the sauna and open air bath, as well as the relaxation area on the top floor. I would love to stay here again.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Osaka”
We really liked this place. We got the breakfast with the room, and the buffet had a wide assortment of Japanese, Chinese, and Western options. The rooms were sleek and modern. We especially enjoyed the Sento, and the instructions made the whole experience a lot less scary than it could have been. The baths are on the roof, and there's an indoor and outdoor one. They're really great and it was an awesome way to relax before we went out for the evening. Loved the location too. There are also very convenient and large self-service luggage storage which was free and very useful. Very close to the Dontonburi (although a slight hike from the train station) We'd definitely stay here again when in Osaka.

Just like any other Japanese hotel in the city, the rooms are quite small. But, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are really clean. The best thing about the hotel is the location! Not only is it close to the subway station, but also Kuromon Market & Dotonbori. There's so much to see and eat around the Hotel, the small room doesn't matter at all. I would definitely stay at Candeo Hotel again the next time I visit Osaka.

The hotel was a little far from the train station, but it was worth every bit of time. The staff was friendly, accommodating, full of initiative when observing some of our group’s needs and aiding us with it. The facilities were beautiful, easily to access and above all secure. Lastly, the hotel was nestled close to one of the best shopping and eating places in the area; truly an awesome location.

Perfect Choice”
If you plan to visit osaka just once in your life, I recommend you reserve the corner room city view. Magnificent view of Osaka. 120% worth of money. Would be a little better if the hotel could offer transparent mirror glass at the onsen so that everyone can enjoy unobstructed view.

This is an ideal hotel for tourists who are visiting Osaka because of its location. The space is big enough and has a nice modern feel to it. I enjoyed my stay even if it was just 1 night and I do hope to come back in case I plan to tour Osaka again.

Fantastic hotel near Dotonburi area. Easy location to walk to train stations & Metro lines. Beautiful breakfast, nice rooms & staff. Lovely onsen on 17th floor (top). We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay for the price we paid ”
I’m a frequent traveler to Japan and have stayed in a lot of different chain hotels. This was my first time staying at hotel candeo and I can say The hotel was amazing. Still relatively new and clean. Facilities were excellent and as advertised. To get to the station was quite a walk with large luggage but once we checked it. We loved it. In fact on my 3rd leg I booked hotel candeo in Tokyo shimbashi because I loved the one in Osaka so much.

pros: good location dotonbori is just at the next corner and 5 minute walk to Nagahoritsurumi Ryokuchi train line.. kilometer walk to denden town and umeda cons: they dont have complimentary bottled water...but they have ice dispenser at the hallway.
