You are paying a higher price here but the hotel is updated and all was comfortable. We were hosting a family event and got four rooms. Each room was different room shape and configuration but equal in the décor and amenities. Location is right in middle of town. I would recommend.

Casa Modrona has hits and misses”
Our cottage room at Casa Madrona was beautiful and clean with a beautiful view. However, the bed was not comfortable at all, and a design flaw, on the otherwise fantastic tub, meant that water from the shower ran all over the floor. Future guests should know that all of the mansion and cottage rooms require walking up 2+ flights of steep stairs. The staff was fine, and the hotel was very clean. You cannot beat the location by the harbor, and the attached restaurant is solid. I would stay at this hotel again, but I am not in a rush to come back.

Sweet Sausalito”
Very particular traveler. They put us in a king room with handicap access and once we notified them that this situation was not acceptable they switched us to a marina front room with balcony which was perfect! Will definitely return!

Hotel is not accurately depicted in the marketing materials. They treat outside booking as second class and did nothing to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel rooms are in a great location and have nice view but are very outdated and not worth the price paid.

Noise all night long!”
My husband and I wanted to get away from the kids and sleep but that did not work out as planned! I was up all night listening to a loud banging in the air conditioning unit . We also left early. The hotel did nothing for us but we sure did pay a lot for nothing. Truly disappointed.

Vi bodde i en juniorsvit som var mycket mysig och rymlig. Sviten låg i ett eget hus. Sängen var skön men knarrade lite. Vi åt frukost på hotellets restaurang. Prisvärt och gott.
