This spontaneous trip to Batangas was indeed a great escape from the urban life. The Farm is located at Lipa. It was clearly a short drive from Manila but getting inside is like being in an alternate universe where birds are chirping, peacocks are walking around, and green is the dominant color. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and we huddled at the Alive! Restaurant for lunch. They serve the "good" in the food. The menu is mainly comprised of vegan recipes yet the taste is satisfying, it will make you forget about meat. It's the only restaurant inside The Farm and there are no nearby restaurants in the area. Price is actually steep but ingredients are guaranteed freshly-picked. I appreciated that the staff are courteous and friendly despite the slow pacing of service. Our stay includes a free afternoon snack and breakfast. The Farm also offers detox packages depending on personal needs.

I like the concept. A Santorini inspired resort in Batangas, Philippines. Stayed at the Master Villa. Pros: -quick check in-check out. - overall cleanliness -comfortable bed -strong water -friendly staff -Spacious Master Villa (perfect for groups) -Pool with lifeguards (for kids) -Variety of indoor and outdoor activities. -beautiful views -activities for kids(play area) Cons: -Elevator wasn't working (not suitable for seniors) and no one seems to be working on fixing it. -Limited parking space. Hard to park during peak season. - food is just ok -Average speed of service -Average internet speed.

I stayed with my wheelchair bound mom and dad and my wife. Check in: I made a big mistake i by mistake had the booking in wrong date and arrived a day early. the lady simply said, "Don't worry, we will take care of it". So helpful..... The rooms were not the best for price. But then again it i felt you will not really stay in that room if you are in that resort. So much to do out side. The aircon was leaking water in the veranda area. So there was a little puddle of water on the corner. (but not in the way). I felt they can improve one their cleaning up. But acceptable. One thing i really disliked that they don't have "hand shower" on the toilet. They should all hotels in Philippines has it. People are very very friendly and accommodating. When they saw my mom struggling to get down because of her feet problem. 3 wonderful ladies came running to lend their helping hand. So caring. Only in Asia (if not Philippines) this happens. Overall it is a nice place to spend time. Pool is big enough. View is BEYOND AMAZING. And they have so much water activity. It's just fun exciting and serene at the same time. I also liked their food. I did not find it extremely expensive like other closed gate resort. We regretted that we booked just one night. Worth a visit.

8/10 Stars overall. We just got home from a nice 2 night stay at the Matabungkay Beach Hotel in Lian, Batangas. The hotel itself is quite old but fairly maintained. But what really gave us a pleasant stay were the staffs. They were polite and proactive. Service was quick although given that we went during off peak season. You can get a 60 minute massage for Php600. The spa itself is quite old and has that smell when a place has not been used for some time. Massage was ok, nothing special. The food was ok but a little pricey. You have food options outside the resort which is good. They have 3 pools, 2 of which can be enjoyed by kids. Clean and well maintained. Not sure though how it would look like during peak seasons. I am not a fan of their balsas which block the view of the beach and makes it look like a “Palaisdaan”. The beach in front of the hotel is not very suitable for swimming. Although you can walk for 10 minutes where there is a good spot for swimming.

It was an anniversary celebration to remember. My boyfriend and I recently celebrated our 4th anniversary in Seas Spring Resort in Mabini, Batangas. To be honest I didnt expect too much from this trip since we're never really used to celebrations like this. But Seas Spring made it extra special for us. When they knew that we were actually celebrating our anniversary, we were immediately greeted (with big smiles) by their reception staff, was assisted properly to our room and was informed of all the things we need to know around the whole resort. They managed to set up a dinner table with candle lights on our room's veranda (overlooking the beautiful and calm Batangas bay) and brought in our requested meals. They even set up the bed with flowers, well the whole place was almost filled with flower petals. Ate Rina and Thalia made all these possible. They were informed at 3pm and was able to deliver at 5:30pm. Kudos for your extra mile service. I must say their staff are very friendl

Our family stayed here for the long weekend and The Peak was fully booked. Surprisingly, we were upgraded to a Jr. Suite from a Studio room. PROS: The Jr. Suite/Loft is beautiful. A king bed upstairs while a sofa bed is downstairs. There are 2 TVs, 1 huge fridge, 2 comfort rooms with shower, 2 ACs and a dining table. We absolutely love how there are lots of sockets to charge our gadgets. 😁 We were able to use the jacuzzi in the locker room for free. 😊 The food was good. We opted out of the buffet and just ordered Crispy Pata, Crispy Tawilis and Bihon Guisado. All tasted good and was well priced. Diokno Highway is now passable, too, and it is easier to go to Tagaytay! CONS: The shower's heater was not working. There was also a foul smell in one of the bathrooms. The indoor pool's heater was not working so it was super super cold. The staff at the restaurant needs to learn customer service. OVERALL: Canyon Woods is as peaceful as always and is one of the best places to rest with loved ones or family. Will definitely come back.

eagle point is a 40 hectre resort located in an isolated portion of anilao in batangas. the resort is a bit of a journey from mabini and more so from batangas city but well worth the trip. the services is five star with a very personal touch. it was very quite during our 3 day tuesday to friday stay but i was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. im not a diver so i wont comment on this aspect of the resort and it is marketed as a diving resort. just went for a relaxation\romantic stay. not a good beach but good swiming and good snoreling at the resort is available. the 'dont bring in outside food or beverages' is not enforced and the premium price they charge warrants bringing in what you may want to consume in your room. very good value for the money and an excellent resort.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Palm Resort. We would definitely recommend this place to other friends traveling to Batangas. The place is indeed secluded from other resorts since you’ll have to go through a hill before you get to the resort. It’ll be hard for you to commute to this place so you have to bring a car for you to get to Palm Beach. (+) - The food was great; it was buffet-style from breakfast, lunch, PM snacks to dinner. You won’t be hungry at all! - The service was very fast and efficient. The staff would always greet you whenever you pass by them and they were very eager to help you. We were able to talk with the manager as well. He was very accommodating! - We enjoyed the pool at the day trip area where there was a big slide and it was deep compared to the other one near the dining pavilion. Both were infinity pools so you would definitely enjoy the view of the beach. Perfect for a photo op! - Check in was very fast as well. We didn’t have a hard time at all. We arrived around 1pm and stayed at the cabana to wait for our check in. (BONUS: When we arrived at our cabana, we decided to walk around the beach. To our surprise, a family of dolphins decided to greet us! It was wonderful) - We got a room at Casa Alba for 5 people. It was indeed spacious for us and it’s clean. (-) - The only let down for us was the beach front. Although we enjoyed it because we went kayak-ing. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to try the other water activities. Anyway, it was rocky (no joke). Every where you go, the shore is really rocky. - There’s no signal for Globe & Smart. It was difficult for us to get a signal. (My brother who works as an engineer suggested that the resort should get a booster from Globe/Smart) - Another thing is, the wifi’s signal was weak as well. Luckily, it was working pretty well at our room and in selected areas in the resort. A few things to improve on but overall, our stay was lovely! Would definitely go back to this place in the near

I was looking for a quiet beach resort (not brimming with tourists) that had quality facilities at a reasonable price. Aiyanar fulfilled almost everything I was searching for - modern yet tasteful resort design, gorgeous swimming pool and lounging areas, good internet connection, quiet location, very friendly and accommodating staff, and I booked it via a great Agoda bargain. Only thing that needs improvement would be the food - for the price point it asks for, they need to elevate the taste and quality. Other than that, this will be one of my top picks on my next visit to Anilao, Batangas.

We really had a pleasant stay here. Booked 2 nights in one of their standard rooms. When we got there, I requested for a room at the ground floor because my husband has a back injury and was advised by the doctor to refrain from climbing the stairs. The staff immediately offered a free room upgrade to a deluxe suite to be able to accommodate my request for a room at the ground floor. Check in was a breeze. Thanked them for the nice gesture. When we got to our suite, we were delightfully surprised! The room was spacious, tidy and luxurious. It was also close to the children's playground and pool where my toddler had a lot of fun. the hotel had a lot of sprawling greens so the place was relaxing and provided a good ambiance for unwinding. We really had a memorable weekend there. Though it wasn't located right next to a mall, it was an easy 20 minute drive to SM Lipa so we had access to supplies we needed during our brief vacay in batangas. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and other travelers.

So me and my girlfriend went here for her birthday, with ofcourse our baby dog. Booking online, payment and confirmation is very easy, fast and convenient. We didn’t have any hard time finding the resort though it was our first time to go to Batangas since the resort entrance is just right along the main road. We just followed the gps from our phone from manila to the resort. When we arrived there like around 12:30pm, Ms Jane who is in the reception counter was very friendly, helpful and very professional. They offered us welcome drinks which was a tamarin juice. It was so refreshing After driving for like 4hrs. The resort is super pet friendly. Supposedly 2pm is the check in time but Ms Jane was so courteous that she offered us to check in that early because the room has been cleaned already. Food was great! Free dinner,breakfast and lunch (mini buffet). Room was far beyond our expectation. Beach is the bonus part.Will definitely be back! I love the staffs there! Worth your money

My fiance booked this before our honeymoon as he previously stayed there with family and friends. I wasn't expecting much as this was an inbetweener before our honeymoon in another island, however I was pleasantly surprised. There is no TV so you really are forced to relax, which is what we needed after our wedding. The full board buffet is really good Filipino food and the local barako coffee is the best I've had in the Philippines (compared to big 5 star hotel coffee) and that's saying something. It's a bit of a drive from Manila but I'd definitely stay here again. The only downside is our room in the premier suite on the ground floor felt a bit damp, but that's probably a given being beachside with the beach outside your door. I was impressed with the complimentary shampoo and bathsoap though which was a generous size.

Quiet clean great staff. Small but cool pool and jacuzzi. Great front desk staff all friendly and easy to deal with. Servers Jun Girlie and Flexie provide service at par with five star hotels. Food expensive but tastes good. Try the fish and chips and Big John Pizza. Food costs around 350 pesos up per person. No other food options around. Nice beach is a few minutes walk away. A bit littered and lots of rafts and vendors. No rocks pure sand beach. More than what i expected. Water not super clear typical batangas beach.Room is clean has bidet hot shower, firm mattress had great nights sleep. Split type ac, cable cignal hd with numerous channels. only downside was a tiny stain in the middle of the bed sheet upon check in but was replaced with crisp clean sheets upon request. No wifi in the room only in resto intermittent. Dont need much wifi in the room cable and conversation was good enuf for us. Public beach so dont expect boracay. Really cool resort for its price very well maintained. Has board games. Enjoyed jenga and scrabble. Has magazines, books. Even the pool guy is nice. Will definitely come back. Great resort!!!

this is a great hotel if you are traveling to lipa city for any reason. the hotel is located downtown, right next to robinson's mall. sm city lipa and the central bayan of lipa are only a few minutes away, either walking or by tricycle/jeep. the hotel is very comfortable with very helpful and friendly staff. the bus/van terminal across the street and the jeep station at robinson's makes transportation to laguna, all of batangas, and manila very accessible. great hotel.

we had a great stay at this hotel, good value for the money and i would like to stay again if i returned to lipa. however, i will not return to lipa city or batangas because as a caucasian i was stared at by everyone and did not feel safe. i did not see any other tourists and i felt like a target. if u must visit lipa you should arrange for a driver to take you to tagaylay, a moubtaintop town where u can view taal volcano on its island. beautiful highlight of my visit.

We've been through almost all the exclusive and 4-5 start resorts in Nasubu and Laiya Batangas and it was our first time trying Anilao. I booked a day before and this was the only resort available. I was skeptical at first because its expensive and it seems like we have not much to do if it rains (given that its rainy season) and there's quite a lot of negative comments. However I still pushed through as I have no other better choice. Food - food is actually cheap. They have family serving that goes from 300-400 pesos for 2-3pax. The individual servings are a bit expensive 200-300 pesos. Taste is ok. I do not expect hotel quality food from beach resorts anyway. But breakfast is superb. They served wide variety of buffet selections including pancakes, cereals, pastries, fruits apart from regular bacon, hotdog, ham, danggit and eggs. They should have provided lunch and dinner buffet as well. Room - room is clean, modern, sea view, everything is working except that there is no ref and bath tub. Given that the room is expensive, they even charge 2200 for an extra person (10yo kid) so in total that's 13k of accommodation. Facilities - architectural design is superb even if the place is small. You can take nice shots in most areas of the resort. You have fantastic views everywhere. Pools are nice especially at night. Just be careful on stairs and some floorings because most of them are slippery. My kid slipped 4x on different areas. Activities - we love snorkeling and this is the best place to be in all areas of Batangas. Right down the resort there is a pantoon (floating area) where you can put your things and just jump onto the water and free dive and snorkel. Most of the corals are dead but you can still see a lot of different kids of fishes nearby. They also lend life vest and kayaks for free and other gears at a fee for the whole day. Even if it rains, snorkeling is still nice. You can also do free dive if you swim a few meters farther. Staff - i now under

Pros: The staff was very friendly! They did their best in accommodating us. And the complimentary plated breakfast for two was a lot. There was adobo, fish fillet, egg, bread, rice, and fruit. Cons: At first, they gave us room 209 but we asked for a non-smoking room so they gave us room 207 instead. However, room 207 still smelled like smoke. Also, they gave us three wi-fi username and password cards and NONE of those worked. Also, the sheets didn't smell fresh. So this hotel could improve on some stuff because I think I'd rather try the hotel near Santomas Suites next time I'm in Santo Tomas, Batangas.

It's not often that you end up falling in love with a resort, but this is one of the few times that it will definitely happen to anyone visiting Buceo. I booked a one night stay and ended up extending for three more nights, just to take in the beautiful environment, bask in the warmth of the staff, and enjoy the ambiance of the place. I love all the details--the art, the food, the dive amenities, the camera room, the gorgeous spa and how Dave and Paz were both so sweet and accommodating. I'll definitely be back again, though I know this place gets booked fast. Thank you Buceo for a wonderful stay!

We were looking for a nice place to stay not too far away from Manila, as we had some business there. I found White Castle over the internet, and was impressed with the really modest price point of the rooms. We asked the hotel to arrange the transfer from Manila to the hotel for 4000 Pesos, I am glad we did, as the hotel itself is hard to find, especially the last mile is really a challenge. We stayed for 4 nights in August, the rainy season, and when we arrived we were the only guests. The staff showed us multiple rooms and we were free to chose. The rooms were huge, all in the style of a medieval castle. Even though our room was a bit older and had some signs of aging, everything was in working order, the bed was so cozy and comfortable, and it really felt like we were royals in a castle. On the first look we found the menu a bit expensive, but one menu easily feeds 3 persons, and the quality of the food was really superior. I asked for some fresh fish, preferably grilled, and the chef organized a huge Lapu Lapu, and barbecued it outside using char coal. We barely managed to eat half of the fish, even though it was the best barbecue fish I ever ate. The pool was a pleasant experience, but the beach was a bit of a disappointment. Due to the rainy seasons the water was not really clear, and there was a lot of trash and debris on the beach, the water is not very deep, so swimming during low tide is not pleasant. The sand is rather dark. But for our little girl it was good, as she cannot swim, and the water was calm and warm. Also she enjoyed the birds, dogs, and monkeys in the hotel, which is important, because there is only a fishermen's village in the neighborhood. Noting much to do. And a ride with the tricycle to the next big town is 350 Pesos (two way and including the driver to wait for you while you do your shopping or whatever). Overall a very pleasant experience, kudos to all the staff, who is very approachable and helpful.

We decided to booked last Saturday August 4,2018 via agoda one night only based on the good reviews. After a long day ride going there is worth it! Its like a hidden place inside batangas which is very peaceful, nice ambiance, amazing pool my daughter love it very much, big rooms especially the suits rooms that we book located near the overlooking pool and with pocket garden outside our room.Booking via on line is very fast confirmation.The internet connection is supper excellent, especially for us doing some works to be done. Food is good but pricey. I love the smell of there towels its clean, I don't used there bathtubs because of some stains on it. I love the SPA, and also there play ground for children is a plus factor for me. The only downside is the road going to the resort is very difficult if you are driving SUV or VAN because of a very narrow road which is also a two way road. Overall for me, Very Good I will still recommend to my friends and relatives.

The service was excellent, we felt like a VIP as soon as we parked our car. Location was great as its just across SM Batangas. Facilities were amazing even the trash bin was high- tech. But with regards to food, (I ordered pancakes, btw, even the hash brown was not that good) It isn't really satisfying. There were also things that was not discussed prior our arrival, like security deposit and corkage fee. Rest were amazing!

My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our 2nd anniversary at Tagaytay Heritage Town to revisit Philippine history through the ancestral homes that were built during the Spanish colonization. We chose Paradores del Castillo as our accommodation as it has a lot of good reviews, and I like that it has a garden and a view of the town’s entirety. Paradores del Castillo is located at H. Del Castillo St., Taal, Batangas. It took us 3.5 hrs from Makati to Taal, Batangas by car on a Saturday. Before entering the town, we saw some signage pointing us to Paradores. We just followed the signs (and Waze) so finding the place was super easy. Upon arriving at Paradores, we were greeted by the guard, who directed us to the gated parking area. There is an open parking for guests which is really convenient because it’s just beside the hotel. However, it is not a covered parking. Expect your car to get toasted the day after when you leave. Hehe. But it is okay. It is part of why we stayed there anyway, the wide open spaces, history and open air. :) The check-in time is 2:00 PM, but we arrived a little early so we were asked to wait. We were given cold drinks (yay!) and advised that we could roam around the common areas and the garden while waiting. The entire place is an ancestral house, with huge capiz windows, high ceiling, and wooden panels. The lobby is designed with blue articles and lovely chandeliers, which made the house look bright in contrast with its antique décor. I could say it is perfect. Once the room was ready, we checked-in at the reception and they gave us a map of the town. We were delighted that the receptionist even gave us the schedules of the ancestral houses and tips on how to best enjoy the tour of the town, which is to roam around by foot. The Room We booked a Superior Deluxe Room, which can accommodate three (3) persons. It has two (2) beds; one (1) single and one (1) queen-sized four-poster bed. A wonderful comfortable and welcoming hotel in Batangas. Stayed for a day before flying home. The hotel is wonderful. The staff is very friendly. In all trying to help. Good location regarding everything that might be necessary. City Mall is 15 minutes away on a tricycle, the city market is the same. Walking a little longer, but it is very interesting to walk to view the town. If traveling by car, then there are rooms with a garage. comfortable mattresses, good water pressure, air conditioning, breakfast. For a short stay - perfect! Thanks for the hospitality)
