"The Best Resort on Arambol Beach Front... The Resort is superbly maintained with lush greeneries covering most of the resort... One can have options to stay in Wooden Cottages OR the 1 storey building located near the Swimming Pool. Cottages are suitable for the couple with one or two kids or max 3 adults with extra bed mattress. Where as building rooms are big enough to accommodate 4 people. The room facilities include mist of the things you need which a 3 star hotel usually provides... Rooms are good and neatly maintained but of course not very brand new and hence may need renovation. A king size bed with good mattress providing good quality sleep. Additionally a room contains a sofa cum bed to accommodate another 2 people. A small balcony on 1st floor rooms are pool facing and provide good view though the cottages block the sea view... In my opinion, a balcony should have been of a litter bigger size. One disappointing thing was - the room did not have normal water glasses and when we enquired with the reception we were asked to call Restaurant which is operated by a third party and not directly by the hotel management. To our surprise, the restaurant asked us to pay Rs. 100 for 3 glasses... (Management need to look into???) The restaurant is super expensively and quality was not upto the mark. We just had our dribks and lunch on the first day and did not try again. Instead, many people prefer to eat food at many shacks available on the beach... Except for the couple of complaints I must say the resort is superb as the biggest advantage is it's located bang on the beach... Recommend others for stay as it provides value for money..."

"Out of the 9 hotels that we stayed in during our travels in India, I can safely say that Estrela Do Mar was the best, especially when considering the price we paid for the Executive double room was more or less the same amount we had paid for a lot of the other places we had stayed in previous to arriving in Goa. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is just a couple steps from the beach..however I don´t know if this is a good thing or bad thing as the first and last time we went to the beach, we were swarmed by women trying to sell us things who proceeded to follow us down the beach when we tried to get away. Staying in Calungute is a good thing to do, you have the village just a short walk away and there are plenty of little shops and restaurants to check out. If you would like to head to Panaji (the ´city centre´there are plenty of people outside the hotel offering to rent out scooters (be careful though, make sure you have an international driving license even though they tell you it´s not necessary and make sure the driver rides with a helmet outside on the main roads between villages and the city. We got fined) For suspicious people, it might be good to know that there is a crematorium a minutes walk away from the hotel...a slightly surprising discovery after we had arrived at the hotel and wondered where all of the smoke was coming from and no hint of a barbecue smell. We just dealt with it though but it was a little strange! Apart from those minor points, we had a fantastic stay, it´s a great hotel! check it out!"

"Gaurav and his team were absolutely excellent! I have stayed at beach huts in the past and I can easily say this is the best I have seen, especially when you consider value for money! The room was large, bed massive, mattress was thick and soft, which in particular was a real treat considering most places in India have thin, hard and uncomfortable beds. There is WiFi which is pretty decent and works in the rooms, food is served at almost all hours and is of very high quality - I can honestly say I enjoyed the food more here than at 5* hotels in Mumbai, and I must praise the staff again, who were extremely attentative, had good recommendations and very engaging. Like all beach huts you expect lovely views and this delivers! It was nice to lay on the balcony or in the restaurant! Considering price wise these are the cheapest in Agonda from my research, I think these are also among the best beach huts in South Goa - those beds, ahh it was bliss :-)! Amir"

The Resort restaurant Has an amazing Staff as well the food is freshly prepared and just like Home made Food, when having food at this place you won't feel like you are eating food in a restaurant it's as good as home made tasty mouthwatering food. "if you are staying in panaji, stay here! it is excellent and worth it. however, the wifi is a bit of a trouble because only 1 person is allowed to access it at one time and inconvenient since 2 of us need to use it to contact home or use it to book our next hotels etc. overall, it is still very clean and nice, staff are friendly and helpful. there is a nice shirt shop selling really funky shirts too and hotel provides water to refill which is eco-friendly. enjoyed our stay tremendously. down-the-road is a great place to chill and eat/drink which is just 15minutes walk away cross a bridge. great location because it is near the bus terminal and behind the hotel is the newly opened library which has an outstanding collection and good to pass-time in event that you have time to spare, give the library a visit! love ginger goa, outstanding."

"This was amongst one of many trips of goa for me. But, unlike my other trips, it was an out n out family trip. I was travelling with my wife nd my 10 months old daughter so we chose Santana. we initially booked it for two days but den I xtended our booking for a couple of days more. The place is located beautifully in front of candolim beach. Even though the property is fairly big , you would always find the housekeeping ppl keeping up the cleanliness. It has a beautiful pool bar, which me nd my wife enjoyed thoroughly throughout our stretch of stay(the music was good, the staff was courteous nd d food always delicious). One best thing out there, was the friendly staff who was always willing to help out in every possible manner including keeping our baby girl accompanied when we wee enjoying the pool, having our meal or just sitting at the bar.
