"The location was really good as it was right in front of the beach and there were a lots of cvs, restaurants and other things near the hotel. the room was clean and pretty spacious. the only thing that was disappointing was that even though we booked the room for three people, they only provided us with two pair of slippers and only one big towel was provided, after requesting two other big towels and another pair of slippers the staff did bring it to us, but the next day after the cleaning staff cleaned the room, the same thing happened again. What also was really confusing was that the Ebenezer Hotel and the Artstay Hotel seem to be sharing the same building, tho they are completely separate from each other. Also keep in mind that check-in is pretty late at 3pm, which was quite inconvenient."

"We visited Jeju island and stayed at Hotel Whistlelark from 2-4 August. Checked out on my wife's birthday, 5 August, for a flight to Seoul Gimpo then onward to our hotel in Seoul. Unfortunately, my wife fell sick and in our haste to get to the airport on time, she had absent mindedly left her wedding band, earrings and a hair tie in the hotel room toilet. We were panicking as we reached the Korean Air check in counter only 15mins before the boarding gate closed. As such, there was no way to turn back and retrieve the ring. Also, Korean Air almost didn't allow us to board as we arrived pretty late. Praise God, the flight was delayed by 15 mins. However, we were given instructions to board immediately. Using our super limited Korean (mostly English), we communicated to the Korean Airlines front desk staff that we needed their assistance to inform Hotel Whistlelark that my wife had left her wedding band behind (the hotel had no Email address stated and we were using the rented WiFi router and had no way to call them as we had no data plans). Cut to the chase - 2 days later, we received the wedding band, hair tie and earrings sent by courier arranged by Hotel Whistlelark to our hotel in Seoul (costs borne by us of course). I would like to commend them for their honesty and efficiency for returning an item of such sentimental value to us. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 to Hotel Whistlelark for going the extra mile to return my wife's items and I would definitely recommend your place to all who want to visit Jeju. 감사합니다!!! 👏👏👏 ♥️♥️♥️"

"We stayed here for 3 nights around Easter time, and were really pleased with the hotel. The hotel design is very over the top, but, its a bit like Vegas, tacky but done well. The rooms are comfortable, luxurious and clean, but not the best we have seen for a 5 star resort. The hotel is huge and the gardens are beautiful. The swimming pool (over 30 degrees) and 3 Jacuzzis (almost 40 degrees) were amazing, was so nice to swim up until midnight in the lit pool when the weather was so cold and rainy outside. The sauna by the pool was fantastic too, and they lend you fluffy bathrobes to dash between the changing rooms and pool area, everything was very well thought out. We spent most days out exploring Jeju island, then evenings relaxing in the hotel and in the pool. The food in the Korean restaurant was lovely, we went for the tasting menu and there was so much food, all cooked to perfection, lovely local ingredients and flavours, really enjoyable. Great having the bakery in the lobby, nice to be able to take snacks for a day trip. The staff were friendly and helpful and all trained very well. But we had one negative experience. We asked the hotel to book us an English driver for the day, and the driver was appalling. He drove erratically, had no seat belts in the car,y and his English was so poor that we felt ripped off paying more for an 'English' guide! He asked us to pay for his lunch (even though it was supposed to be included in the day rate). Then drove slowly and swerved all over the place, meaning we had to pay an extra hour to cover the sights that we had planned. We were surprised that the hotel recommended this driver. At the end of the day, we mentioned to the hotel, and they dismissed it so we went to talk to concierge who apologised. We were not after an apology, but really wanted them to remove this driver from their list so that other guests do not have the same negative experience. "

"I ordered this hotel for half price when there was huge discount. The hotel was clean and the staffs were friendly despite the fact that they didn't speak English very well. I was travelling alone; they only gave me one soap although I paid for two people. Besides that, everything was perfect! The bus station was right in front of the hotel! I will come back here if I have a chance! Thanks for giving me a great experience the first time I came to Jeju Island ^_^"
