"Was quite happy with the choice of the hotel. The rooms were quite spacious for NY hotel. The staff was excellent at reception and breakfast. The location is 2 mins from the times square and its on the main road. You can even walk down to central park. So i would say its great choice, if you get right price. Only minor downside - the rooms are a bit old style. In NY thats true for many other hotels..."

"I have stayed in 2 hotels in new York within this 1 week. I prefer this best western times square compared to hotel mela. The room in best western are more modernized looking and they are a bit bigger. The lobby is much bigger with ample of sitting area and we can get free ice and water from bar. The location is best as it is just in the middle of everything. It is very convenient that we can just buy chocolates from Hershey's which is at the corner of street and later drop off in hotel. The hotel is very flexible in allowing us to deposit luggage there. We went to niagara fall the day before checking into best western and best western allow us to deposit bag for $1 per bag per day. It saved us more baggage money than bringing it on the the domestic flight which will cost us $25 per baggage. Staff service is fair. I have booked 2 rooms and one of the room is king sized bed. They didn't informed me clearly which room is the king sized bed until I probe further. My aircon remote is not working hence we need to manually off and on the aircon by digging our hand into aircon switch. Hair dryer is not good condition. It automatically does not work if the toilet is humid. But overall experience is fine . "

"We have been in New York for a city tour and did stay at the hotel round about 8 nights. The staff was friendly, the hotel was all right for the price we paid (round about 115$ per night). The breakfast was reaaaaly good for beeing included in the price. I mean what do you want more than bagels, peanut butter, eggs and some kellogs? :) Nothing for hilton hotel visitors with 5* hotel attitudes, but for mid thirty couples with average income its fine!"

"Great value for money. The rooms are quite small, but this is New York we're talking about. Staff was courteous, and kind, and very helpful. Best thing has to be the location. Hudson Yards is beautiful and accessible, a great place to stay for a New York weekend getaway."

"We arrived to find we did not get the room we had booked from a previous stay....The room given was not big enough for 3 people. When questioned about this, the staff were very accommodating and upgrated us immediately to suite. I was very happy with the service and hopitality of the Affinia Manhattan and would not stay anywhere else while in New York."

"After many searches I found JFK Inn to be the cheapest hotel on offer in New York unless you want to share a bathroom etc. It's not the Ritz but the rooms are clean, and warm, the showers are hot and the staff are friendly and helpful. When you get off the plane take the Air Train to Federal Circle station (free) and use the free phone to call the hotel and they'll come and pick you up. (Give the driver a tip). Breakfast is eat all you want, and also is free. Again airport drop off is free. If you want to access Manhattan you'll have to get a number Q6 bus about 5mins walk down the road. It'll take you to the subway station (it's the stop where almost everyone gets off) where you can buy a Metro Card and charge it up with as many rides as you need. The best deal is the $15 weekly deal if you're staying that long. They'll explain more at the hotel if you ask. "

"Very accessible to JFK via the AirTrain, quick and seamless check-in, and allows you to store luggage after check-out. I needed a place to stay overnight arriving at JFK at 10pm and with a quick meeting the next day at Manhattan before flying to my next destination which is Atlanta. AirTrain provided that sweet midway point being close to the airport where I was able to sleep soundly upon arrival, leave my stuff the next morning after check-out, and access Manhattan via the Rhode Island Terminal going to Penn Station and from Penn Station to Times Square (just two stops that takes 20minutes total). Price is very cheap as the hotel room itself is well-furnished with comfortable beds, large bathroom and basic amenities. No fridge or water heater/coffee machine but they have a pantry at the Sublevel and also the sister hotel next door which is Le Tap offers free coffee and tea at the lobby for both Le Tap and AirTrain guests. Far from city center but very accessible to JFK!"
