"Situated in the hustle and bustle of St Petersburg, this beautiful hotel offered wonderful rooms, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. In addition AH is located within walking distance of most of St Peterburg's central attractions, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars. We were very happy with this choice and would highly recommend AH to solo, couple or group travelers. For what you pay, this hotel is a standout compared to the chain hotels dotted around St Petersburg."

"The hotel is located centrally of St Petersburg, with nice restaurants nearby. Receptionists were extremely friendly. One helped me booked a cab back and forth to Petergof (as the hydrofoil wasn't working). Also helped me book a cab to the train station. My room was upgraded (thank you guys so much), extremely clean and tidy! Breakfast was good too with some different varieties each day! All in all, I highly recommend this hotel!"

"I was surprised to get big room for little money with quite high Wi-Fi speed. Hotel is a little shabby and not the cleanest one but it stays in historical part of Saint-Petersburg and it gives the sense of going back to the past:) If you need great hotel facilities and pay too much attention to unimportant comfortable things, then you better go to different hotel. But if you want to feel the spirit of this city and stay close to a number of sightseeing place, welcome. "

"The hotel is definitely one of the best in terms of what it has to offer. Upon arrival we were provided the room in less than 5 min. The paperwork and registration were done by the hotel which was nice and helpful. The view from the room was beautiful. We could see the lifting of the bridges from the room. The breakfast spread was amazing. We even ordered food late night from the rooms and I must say it was delicious too. The bed was a little old, but I believe the view compensates it. The staff speaks English and were very helpful and courteous. I would have to give a 5* rating to this hotel. Definitely recommended. "

"Altho' Domina Prestige may classify itself as a 5-star establishment, it really is somewhere in the 3 1/2 to 4-star category. It simply does not have the décor or dining quality of a 5-star hotel. It does, however have a 5-star staff. This hotel provided excellent traveler support and great value. I strongly recommend it, even tho' Domina's self-rating of 5 stars is somewhat misleading."

"The location of the hotel is great, in that it's literally next door to the metro station - which makes getting around the city wonderfully easy. There is also a grocery store next door which is a big help. The most disappointing thing about this hotel is the staff. For a hotel that is receiving international guests on a daily basis, their English-speaking abilities are shocking, we were horrified to discover the racist undertones with which we were faced whenever we asked for help or made an inquiry. We went sightseeing on the first day and upon our return, we were shocked to discover our room had not been cleaned and had to ask that it be done. Thankfully the day before we left we raised our concerns with the manageress who was wonderfully willing to listen and genuinely concerned. However for an international hotel, this attitude should not prevail and no customer should ever have to face such appalling service."
