"Hotel was centrally located, very close to Rothschild Street, therefore just a few steps away from cafes, bars, restaurants, and more. There is also two supermarkets located around the same block. Hotel staff were super friendly and efficient. Although this small boutique hotel did not have elevators, hotel staff were very generous in helping bring the luggage up and down. Breakfast can be had at the hotel bar or cafe nearby (recommend the cafe). Beach is a 10-15 minute walk. Note, space is a premium in Tel Aviv so all hotels are tiny. All in all a great value for location. "

"Room clean and full equiped with beautiful and new fornitures (with free coffe and tea, air conditioning, fridge, working wireless, shampoo and towels). Perfect location in the center of Tel Aviv (2km from the station Hashalom), and close to the main attraction of the city. The host is pefect: he can provide you maps and all the information you need about the city. Last day we were also allowed to live our laggages for free in the hotel after checked out. Absolutely raccomended! Francesco and Sara "

"Great place. It's huge but they still manage to create a chill hostel vibe. Staff is an important factor in this. place is clean. Breakfast is outstanding as are kitchen facilities to use and chill area's. I enjoyed my stay a lot. Room for improvement: They offer many tours, I did the masada sunrise tour but thought it to expensive for what you get. Also the price on the website said from 235 but for the whole upcoming year it was 280 at cheapest. I really don't like these sale tactics. Checking in takes way to long. Every time you have to do the whole procedure so for me, I book extra nights on location this was not good. Other hostels you notify, they check and then fix it when you're on your way again. Here it takes 10-15min. minimum. Prices vary highly on the weekend (12-bed dorm is 70 during the week with a 50! ILS increase in the weekend starting Thursday) "

"After 20 years of putting our Engineers at Metropolitan Hotel, it was MY turn to experience a few nights stay...The wait was worth it as my stay was really worth telling everyone to come and experience for themselves this really great hotel right in Tel Aviv by the sea. Large single room with very clean and orderly settings, housekeeping was very friendly and efficient, service from all the staff was attentive, very kind, patient and very efficient. Facilities were excellent, dining was just over the top with delicious variety of foods and top this with attentive staff. Great location by the sea and central Tel Aviv with bus stops just outside. Most of all, the value for money was Super Excellent. Will be back for more treatment like a royal. Am extremely grateful for my experience, worth telling people."

More about Tel Aviv

Fronting the Mediterranean and featuring an interesting balance of historic buildings and modern skyscrapers, Tel Aviv is one of Israel’s most exciting cities. It’s the second-largest city in Israel, and the beachfront location of the city center makes Tel Aviv the perfect destination for a vacation in Israel. It’s a short drive from Jerusalem, but with the locals and tourists frolicking on the beachand crowding the waterfront resorts and bars, it’s easy to see that Tel Aviv is worlds away from Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv is a fairly young city, but it has an impressive collection of Bauhaus buildings that have earned the city a listing on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Most of these historic buildings now serve as hotels and cafes. Most notably, Tel Aviv is home to Old Jaffa, which is one of the oldest ports in the world, even boasting a few appearances in the Christian Bible.

Of course the city is also home to a lot of exclusive shopping centers, but some of the most eclectic selections can be found on the historic Ha-Yarkon Street.

Tel Aviv is served by Ben Gurion International Airport, and there are many hotels conveniently close to the airport for those who don’t want to trek into the city center
