Rooms were clean, comfortable and well heated. There is a TV & safe in the room, along with a table fan (if it gets too warm). The room does not have a kettle (need to request hot water from reception) or iron (need to use the iron in the laundry room). Free wifi is available throughout the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I booked a single room, but ...

There are a few fast food outlets and near a supermarket, convenient to get stuff or grab a quick breakfast before catching a train to somewhere else. Limited eateries around the accommodation. A good distance away from tourists attractions. One can have a nice walk along the river to get to these attractions, not necessary to take a bus. At the nearby train stati...

We were pleasantly surprised at our good fortune to stay at your beautiful hotel and with many amenities in the middle of Halstatt, Austria. Our room was well appointed and the dining room, where we had dinner and the breakfast buffet, provided great tasting food with a awesome view of the lake.We greatly enjoyed our short stay at the Seehotel Gruner Braum.

Right in the city centre, this is a very convenient hotel for the main sights and shops, with many places to eat and drink nearby. The reception staff were very helpful, not just for hotel issues, but also for advice on things to do in the city, and how and where to arrange things. But the main benefit of this hotel is the room size. A large, well-lit space with separ...

With 2 sons of an age whereby they have very much grown out of the 'Christmas Magic', Christmas had lost its sparkle to myself and my wife. I booked our Christmas trip with a hope that there would be some sparkle return to this holiday period. Wow !!! - The Hotel Bristol is a truly fantastic Hotel. I have been lucky enough to stay in some very nice Hotels around the...

This hotel consider to be very good for family stay because there are kitchen in the room so you can have family dinner in your room. Price also very cheap comparing with 4 stars hotel near by. The only concern point is distance from railway. For travelers with HEAVY baggage like me and my wife then I suggest to take taxi for first time going there because way is quite...

The location was fantastic, 3 min walk from S7 Sbarn Station from airport. Less than 5 min walk to Belvedere Palace. Two great team links. Hotel is very spacious, check in was easy with friendly staff. Our room was so spacious overlooking garden. Very quiet & peaceful. The best was the breakfast! What a great selection of hot & cold food , drinks & fantastic coffee & ...

Kaiserhif Wien was the best hotel out of 6 hotels stay in Czech and Austria. I stayed 4~5 star hotels during my travel but I don't understand why this hotel is 4 star. Room was very wide, facility was good, breakfast was fresh and plenty. Especially reception lady(should ask her name) welcomed with big smile and said good-bye gently. But only 1 lady answered phone m...

I found most Austria hotel doesn't have cooling air condition facilities. Visit there in summer could be tough coz the room can be quite warm during daytime. We had the windows open all the time hoping the wind would help bringing down the heat. It is cooler outside after sunset but we have to deal with noise and mosquito problems then. Hotel is in great location, w...

My child and I enjoyed our weekend holiday at Hilton Hotel Vienna at Stadtpark a great deal. The location is superb, direct from airport s-bahn train or CAT Landstrasse. And just less than 2 minutes walk to U-bahn underground where you could reached the city centre; Stephansplatz and Mariahilderstrasse in just less than 15 minutes. The hotel is located next to the Stad...

we had a fantastic stay at NH suites. The rooms were quite spacious with a very decent sized drawing cum kitchenette and a bedroom with a dresser. Bathroom was nice and clean. What impressed me was the staff. Even though we reached the hotel at 6am, the receptionist was helpful enough to give us a room immediately without any extra cost though usual check ins are at 2...

Highly recommended if you know the U-Bahn. As the location is just slightly outside the city centre, you need transportation. But it is convenience as the U-Bahn takes you to the city quickly. The service is ok as staff tries their best to help, if they are not sure about your enquiry, they would find somebody who can help. The room is not too big but he view faces the...

The hotel is not in the city centre, but it's location on the edge of the Danube river makes up for that. We caught taxis a couple of times and paid between 15-20 euro per trip. The food, especially breakfast was amongst the best either my wife or I have had. The staff were super friendly and did everything to make sure our stay would be remembered. I would stay th...

My friend & I had a fabulous experience at Hotel Sailer, the Staff were super friendly, spoke clear english, helpful, attentive & knowledgeable, the hotel was quite central and a small walk to walk to any tourist area ie Golden Roof, or train station (1 block) , loved the convenience of its locality!! Our room was modern, clean, beds were so comfy!, room was quiet at...

The hotel is well situated just across the road maybe 60m from the entry/exit into the arrival hall of the airport. It was pouring with rain! I found the hotel quite ordinary but on company expenses, I may be getting spoilt. It was a clean, normal type room, nothing executive about it at all. The reason I stayed there was because of its proximity to the airport and I c...

Very convenient if your mode of transportation in coming to Salzburg Austria is by train. Surrounded by fast food (Burger King, Starbucks, McDonalds) and shops inside and outside the Salzburg HBF. There is supermarket inside the train station which is the closest one to the hotel. Hotel breakfast is OK with lots of basic staple stuff.

There was a mix up at first upon checking in because I had booked this hotel and cancelled it once when I found a better rate through Agoda. They couldn't find my subsequent booking but it all got sorted out later. The staff was quite nice about it. Other than that, we couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The location was great - right beside Karntner Stra...

Stayed at the San Souci Wein for 3 days with my wife and 22 year old daughter. I must admit that the Hotel is usually a bit pricey but I got a great deal on a room rate for Jr. Suite with real beds for 3 adults, which can be hard to find. Our room had a full bath (with a chandelier!) and a separate half-bath as well which really helped with 3 people in the room. Anywa...

the hotel is worthy of its' star rating. On arrival we were greeted by a young receptionist with excellent English skills, who was very courteous and polite. initial reaction to the hotel was it was done to a reasonably high standard and cleanliness was obvious high on the agenda. when we got to our room again we were very happy with the size and general condition of t...

Hotel is really near the metro station so it's very good reachable from the city center. Room was large and simply furnished but it was nice and modern. Beside other usual facilities was in the room also Nespresso machine. Bathroom was also large and nice and without any doubt clean. Reception desk staff was helpful but a little bit unpleasant and a hotel surroundings ...

One of the best hostel we had been in our one month Europe trip. The location is good as it is located just beside the main train station and with several trams around. The staffs are very helpful, energetic and friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped and very big, which can accommodate for many people to cook together. Everything is very systematic and new in this hos...

The staff at Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom Hotel were very welcoming, helpful, efficient and attentive to customers' needs. Dining at the restaurant on the highest level (Le Loft) was memorable; there's such a panoramic view of the area. Food and service were great too. The bed was truly very comfortable such that it was difficult getting out of bed each morning. The onl...

My family and I booked this hotel quickly right before we arrived. We had to move from our airbnb after seeing it. This hotel was very clean and a pleasant stay. The A/C worked in one of the twin rooms we had, but not the other. Not super close to downtown Vienna, but close to a tram stop and metro stop, so it doesn't take too long to get where you want to be with a ti...

Was in Innsbruck for a honeymoon stop over. Arrived early in the morning at 4am, and thou check-in is available only after 11am, the staff still allowed us to check in at 4am and this gives us a great time to rest before moving out later in the morning Room was spacious and also clean. Bed was comfortable and the chrome equipments in the room were very well maintained...

We booked 2 month earlier from arrival, and the price was very good for a 3 nights stay. The location is between old town and train station with both 5-10 mins walking. Room is clean as other 4 star hotels, and everything is designed for guest convenience. You can also buy Salzburg card at the reception. All in all, it is the best hotel in our 9 days journey.
Cheap places to stay in Austria

Clean n comfy, nice bathroom n toilets, lift (so easy for luggage). Quite a way into town abt 25min walk but can take tram. However on top of steep price for 6 bd room extra charge for bedding and deposit of 20€ for kitchen key n 5€ for locker. Kitchen was on 5th floor ( my room 2.)totally empty (no cup, glass, crockery or pots) wondered what the 20€ is for. Found out ...

We are only sleep here and spend all the day out in the city. This hostel is good for sleeping, but the rooms are small, than for longer stay than 1 or 2 nights, it is not so ideal. The bathroom is clean, only the shower is not so cleaned, and you need to bring towels. Do not forget it! The staff was friendly, the lady speaks Hungarian, if she knows you are Hungarian,...

Exceptional staff, very helpful, you can ask the for any suggestion you need for places to visit. Room request was handled very well(bed sheet was included in the price by the way). The location is good, you get a small shopping center where you can find several fast-food restaurants, two supermarkets, some shops etc. Underground station is 4 minutes walking, you can g...

this is by far one of the best hotel I've stayed in Austria. Its a budget hotel but I can assure you a tip top cleanliness in the HOTEL rooms(I didn't stay in the hostel). we booked a family room and just love how clean and dust free the rooms are. nice smelling soaps and also new furniture. it is way better that A&O in Frankfurt. All the staffs are friendly, young and...

I came to vienna by myself, therefore just needed a place to sleep, with no further needs. Still, the place is clean, staff are very nice, very helpful, and makes you feel like 5 stars hotel. Also, it is all the other small things- a very nice pub, simple but good breakfast- both in very low prices if compared to the city, washing machines in the basement, hangout pla...

It is close to Westbahnhof train station.Supermarkets around there.Room was clean. It is good that it is not a bunk bed like other dorms. It helped that there was a refrigerator in the room. Also,a kitchen on the 1st floor in case you need to cook or warm things.Staff at the reception too are friendly and courteous.Would recommend this to others as well.Overall, good value...

Position: not in the center but near West station and some bus stops. So it’s still convenient to go to the center and then come back late at night. The receiptionist is very nice and helpful. She has a warm greeting for us and she can speak English really well. Customer service is fast, I sent an email for some personal request for changes directly to the property a...

The place is small, cozy but very comfortable and has everything necessary. It is close to S bahn which provides a fast connection to the city center. The place is run by a lovely couple who were really friendly and nice. I enjoyed staying there. Thanks again!

While the BnB was outside of Zell am See, it's very accessible. It's only a 5 minutes train ride into Zell am See city center. The town of Bruck Fusch is itself a nice place to visit. The room was clean and well furnished. All amenities are provided. The shared toilet is clean and tidy. They even have a sauna there though I did not try it during my stay. The staff wa...

The guesthouse is situated near the A1 which makes it a good place to have a good rest between long ride from the Salzburg to Vienna. The owner was also very welcoming and helpful - responsive to our request. The room is also clean and comfortable with basic facilities made available.

The reception is only open until 7pm and I arrived at 8:30pm, so I had to call the owner's handphone (number written on the entrance) to get the code to enter the hotel. The hotel has no lift. Luckily I travelled light. There is a wash-basin in my room, and a shared toilet on every floor. (I think I only saw 1 shower room in the whole building.) The hotel is a 5 to 10...

we arrived on Christmas, was invited to Elizabeth home on Christmas eve. Had an enjoyable conversation and delicious white wine, a very special Christmas eve we will always remember. Haus Gerstbauer is highly recommended for anyone looking the best place to stay at Wachau Valley.

We spent two difficult nights at this hotel, because of the unbearable noise. Facing the busy street and the bus stop were probably the root of this problem. Room was clean, but with very minimum amenities, had to pay for 3 euro for 24 hours WIFI services. We enjoyed the free parking, along the street, just outside the hotel.

This is one of the best times I had at a bed and breakfast. We encountered the most friendly hosts ever. We were there over Christmas and the atmosphere was amazing. We caught a cold on arrival, and they were looking after us like were family. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the breakfast was delicious every morning and the cleanliness was exceptional. Although q...

The hotel is nice and rooms are quite comfortable. I didn't like that I had to pay for Wifi access (but could use the computers at lobby free of charge). Breakfast was average. Its right next to a pedestrian street that leads all the way to the main square and the castle. I did not see a bell boy to help us with our luggage but seems this is only expected in more expe...

We stayed three nights in the hotel. The hotel was located in a nice place; quiet and close to the lake. There was a good restaurant nearby. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment (65 m2) with lake view. However, when we checked in, the man at the reception desk gave us a much smaller one bed room (ca. 30 m2) instead, which I still cannot understand. I showed him the room des...

Warm welcoming and very kind reception. Reasonable price and good buffet which includes various and delicious foods. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone. It was great experience for me and wife, even it was a honey moon. Close to main pitch area in the city centre. (just cross the bridge) and nearby there is a bus stop to air port (250 m away from hotel)

Good overall stay, bit trusting when you specify a room in a specific part of the hotel about 6 months prior to arrival then again about 3 weeks in advance to be told the room is already allocated and can't be moved due to being full. To then stay in a room with a broken bed and next to a noisy family and to find the hotel less than half full. The bed frame was broke...

Possibly one of the best hotel we have stayed during our deviation portion of our honeymoon trip. The hotel is very close to the Vien West HbF, hence it is very easy to get around the whole of Vienna. It is also close to the food joints, and if you arrive late at night, there is a restaurant at the corner which serves food till late at night. There's even a McDonalds ar...

It was a cold and snowy week but the hotel was a lovely welcoming and warming retreat after lots of walking across the beautiful city of Vienna. Breakfast was delicious, a different fruit smoothie and egg dish every day. Help yourself to tea, beer and a meatloaf roll in the afternoon reminded me of the wonderful ‘Happy Hour’ in Tel Aviv. I dropped one star just becau...

Our stay, I would say, was satisfactory. It was not bad but it also was not exceptional. You can access their WIFI but charges apply unlike many hotels now which offer free internet access. The use of the hotel computer is also for a fee, thus if you want to do web airline check-in, you have to pay extra. You also have to carry your luggage by yourself as they have nob...

The NH Danube City is perfectly located for anyone with business at the Vienna International Centre. The rooms are luxurious and the staff were always knowledgeable and courteous. The best thing about the hotel was undoubtedly the food; lush buffet breakfasts offer a wide range of Continental and hot options, and the buffet dinners are a great introduction to top-not...

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are professional, charming and friendly - always happy to advise on restaurants, transport, sightseeing etc. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling rose and cake and invited to sit in their beautiful salon to wait while the checkin was completed. Such a refreshing change from so many other hotels. The salon i...

Booked this on an Agoda deal, and even though not smack in the middle of town, got a great price, like 2 euros more each than a hostel twin room would have cost, plus superb buffet breakfast included. Coffee was not excellent, but couldn't complain about anything else. Large room, comfy beds, rooftop views. Toilet and bathroom separate. And a shower that doesn't have w...

Firstly, read this as a review of the specific features I experienced: staff service, room cleanliness and features, location, and breakfast dining. Based off of these features, I cannot say that it deserves a 4-star rating. It tries but falls short. The good: Staff were friendly, and helped point out routes to landmarks, provided maps and resource information up-fron...

the best part of this hotel was the location. it was only 5 minutes away, walking distance, from the stephansdom. (stephansdom is connected to all the main streets of vienna.) breakfast was also great. numerous menues to choose from and delicious as well. however, this hotel does not have an air conditioner, only the center cooling system. since summer in vienna is not...

Although the hotel is good overall, we were bit surprised that we had to lift our luggage few times to walk up stairs to get to our room. There was a better way to get there (using different entrance with fewer steps), but we were not told at the time of check in. When we were eating breakfast, a staff found out our booking was not including breakfast at the time of...

First night was not good. Airconditioning was failing and noisy. Second night we moved rooms and much better, however the fridge was not working. This was fixed on the third night. All in all, the best features of this hotel are proximity to the Metro rail system (opposite), breakfast and the pool. And nice staff. But the hotel does need some work to bring it ...

I liked very much the food - especially at dinner, but the breakfast was also good. The wiesbeer and the gluwine were very tasteful. The location of the hotel is wonderful and very close to Shmittenhohe cabin and the gondola to the Panorama, which is helpful for skiers Also the room was very nice and comfortable, big enough for our needs. Overall, a very good hotel whi...

Breakfast is the best in this hotel. and you can find a mini gym in -1 floor and it is good enough for travelers. but to be honesty location is not good but somehow acceptable enough. Guests may take bus #4 stop to any sightsee place in Salzburg. BTW, I loved the french windows of room, and it is beautiful to see falling snow from sky to earth. It is rare visual experi...

The stay was very comfortable and made pleasant by the friendly staff. The hotel has been recently refurnished hence there was a feeling of newness in the hotel, which one generally doesn't see in older European hotels. However, the refurbisihing wasn't fully complete and was still going on from the 6th floor upwards. We were on the fifth floor and things got very ...

The hotel is centrally located and easy access through public transport (just next to u-bahn station). The hotel is large, we checked in quite early and they still managed to get a room for us rather than wait till a later time. Very stylish room design and very spacious room and bath room. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from Hofsburg and shopping area, also...

Staff is very considerate and helpful. I arrive in 0630am early morning during peak season. As my room is not ready yet, they allow me to rest in one of the vacant smaller room while waiting for my room to be available. When I had problems with the keys and main light switch of the room, staffs had immediately volunteer to help. The hotel is located very strategicall...

The hotel is just across the U-bahn station and the park. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and attractions. I was a bit dumbfounded when the bellboy asked us if we need help to bring the luggage to our room, instead of offering to help instantly (we were travelling for 2 weeks so our luggage wasn't very small). Didn't experience or expect it from a 4-5 stars ...

Because of the typhoon in Japan, we are forced to arrive very late, almost midnight, but still, they welcomed us at the entrance offered us a cold platter. The room had a beautiful and genuine atmosphere, and the scenery from the room window captured the great Donau river... it was amazing. The breakfast was also very nice with local taste. Big thank you to all the hot...

Staff are not friendly. They never great you and no bell boy service (I don't know? Maybe I look like Chinese? Anyway I am not) During check out, we were told that we have to for the two beverages that taken from the minibar but we didn't at all. They did not charge us but we felt disappointed on their management. Vienna is such a small place you could actually wak aro...

It was a clean and spacious apartment within walking distance to supermarkets and eateries. For me it was convenient, as I had some work near the hospital which is a 15 minute walk from the apartment. However, if you're a tourist, it is not near any of the attractions and the nearest metro is at least a 10 minute walk away. For the same price, you would be able to find...

Our room was large and comfortable, and the hotel was fairly clean. Our room needed some minor maintenance, though. The bed was comfortable and we were able to set the thermostat in the room for cooling and we both slept well. Since our room faced the courtyard, it was quiet. The bathroom was nice with a large tub and shower. The room had a large closet and little bit ...

The best hotel in the world. Location is close to ski cable car also children can ski near the hotel. You can rent ski next door to the hotel. Facilities are wonderful, they offer adults-only area with saunas and steam bath and common area for parents with children. Don't miss half-board because they have delicious food! Every day they offer starters, soups, 4 differe...

The hotel has a beautifull design, good food, and friendly staff. But those are the only good things I can say, they had 1 restaurant in the hotel which was fully booked every night so as hotel guest there was not many options, but the lounge menu. Everywhere in the hotel can smoke. The bathroom in the bedroom is overflowing after each shower super annoying, also after...

I thavel a lot all around the world!! Here?? one of the best five hotels the first reason is because we talk to a human being and not i a robots!! and here they know how to make you fell like one!! And breakfast?! is a must try!! Totally recommend!!

My wife and I loved the hotel and the view was breathtaking also the staff were very friendly and polite and the food was delicious. There's one little thing should be in the room an iron and ironing board. Not forgotten the owners of the Goldberg Hotel coming to say hello to all guests, that was very kind of them.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We booked a nice room but were upgraded to a more spacious room with free Sacher torte and chocolate and fruit topped up daily. We also had a priority seating at the cafe which was nice considering the queues to get in. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Beautiful building and facilities. Rooms are good size, very clean and comfortable. The 8th floor is absolutely stunning and it’s the best way to start the morning with an incredible breakfast and great view of the City! Staff is super friendly and caring from door men to reception and restaurant. I will definitely be back... highly recommended
