Great hotel, perfect location”

Have been staying here for 1 night only on a private trip to Berlin. The hotel is really central located, walking distance to KaDeWe shopping centre; to the Zoo and Central Station as well as Kurfuerstendamm and all the other known places when this part of the town was the centre of life in Berlin. Since I was driving i used the car park at the hotel, otherwise it would be almost impossible to find a car park in this crowded city; its about Euro 19 per ay car park charges (which usually here in Asia is free if you stay in the hotel). The city also chafes a kind of 'towel' fee (Euro 5) if you are not travelling on business. Anyhow, the room was big enough with a comfortable big bed, the sleeping quality was perfect, even the central location with all the traffic was shut out by the well designed noise absorbing windows. Check-in as well as check-out has been fast and easy, the staff at the reception was helpful, attentive, friendly and well trained in speaking English. The amenities in room and bath room were sufficient, actually there was nothing missing, except slippers, but a call to house keeping settled this minor problem also. The breakfast was superb, huge international spread and warm and friendly staff here as well. Overall it has been a satisfactory stay in Berlin.

Excellent hotel, perfect location”

We were seeking a min 4 star hotel at a convenient location. Crown Plaza met our expectations with a good margin. Detail example: We have never seen individual textile towels in a lobby toilet before, here it was. A hotel we will stay in at our next Berlin visit.

Comfortable stay ”

Great location for shopping; literally shop til you drop. Be mindful you're not in the heart of the city/CBD, but strolling distance to trains. Room was sizeable, clean and Internet connection was very good. Loads of good eateries within strolling distance too. A shame the pool was closed for repairs, as I was really looking forward to a dip. Highly recommend a stroll through nearby Tier Gardens; 400 acres of parkland in the centre of Berlin; just magical.

Extremely clean hotel- bedding was superbly pressed and presented. Room maintenance very good. Drinks expensive (as is Berlin itself) E10.00 for one tea, one coffee. Breakfast choice and quality could not be faulted. Very good restaurant staff. Comfortable lounge. Adjacent to Wittenbergplatz U Bahn, a little further to Zoologischer Garten U Bahn/S Bahn Only grumble was pool temp a little cold and not given towel or locker key when at pool. Tip- use S Bahn rather thanU Bahn as its less crowded. You will need to use one mode at least as the cities attractions are very wide apart.

Exceptional”

We stayed for 5 days on our 10th anniversary and our stay was much better than we could have expected! We traveled with a toddler and while pregnant and our stay was nothing short of perfect. 1. Reception: Very kind staffs, delicious sweets always available (my son got extra chocolates too upon arrival!), listened to my requests, helped with receiving a package, we also bought our berlin bear souvenir there. 2. Room: we got a room just like we requested: quiet, with a bathtub and a crib. The toddler was very happy playing in his crib with cute blue bear beddings on first days then blue unicorns later! 3. Amenities: We love the chocolates on our pillow on our arrival! And we have constant supplies of teas & hot chocolate packets + little cookies every day which really warmed & cheered the toddler up every night when we came back after a day out. Upon our request we were also supplied with slippers to go to the swimming pool (And the bathrobe is just so warm for after swimming). We we

A nice stay”

Considering its central location and the decent price I received through agoda , this is a good choice for a short Berlin stay. The hotel doesn't have a lot of character but does have good facilities and the room is nothing fancy but functional. Service is good and the breakfast nice. A nice stay.

Excellent hotel with lovely rooms and restaurant”

Lovely welcome to our weekend break by the reception staff. We were offered a room on the quiet floor, which was just what we wanted. The room was very nice, although the beds were a bit hard for our liking. Its great that there was a pillow menu though! Everything was modern, clean and good quality throughout the hotel. The breakfast, included in our price, was delicious, with a great range of food on offer. The wellness center was decorated lovely, and the 2 saunas were welcoming after a cold and wet day sightseeing. My only complaint is that the Reception staff could have mentioned the City Tax when we checked in, to make us aware of it and given us the option to pay it then and not have to stand in a long queue to check out, when there was nothing else to pay for. However, I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

Nicely renovated Crowne Plaza Berlin Hotel”

The hotel is about 10 mins on foot from Berlin Zoo station. Shopping malls and food outlets are just a stone throw away. I would say about 3 minutes away. The room is clean and had a TV with a greeting message welcoming you. Bathroom is also nicely decorated and clean. There was not a single stain and the room looks like it has been newly painted. Very well maintained. We had a real nice stay there.

The best place to stay in Berlin. You have everything around you. Shopping centers, a zoo and more. This hotel is the best one for Jewish people who eat Kosher food. There is a kosher breakfast in the hotel

This hotel are clean, friendly staff and center of the city. We walked near places. There are many shopping centers and restaurants. When we go to long distance, all the stations were walking distance.

It sould be you choice if you visit Berlin”

Located near U2 station Wittenbergplatz. U2 will be the main line you will take when visit Berlin. The hotel is located near the Zoo as well. Pretty good location for a family to stay. The facilities in guest room were adquated and enough for guest. You will have plenty choices of drink from the mini bar in room. Staff were helpful. I enjoyed a warm stay here. It will be you choice of stay when you visit Berlin.

Good value in good location”

The hotel is located within the shopping district of Kurfurstendamm. It is short distance to the Wittenbergplatz subway so location is very good. The room is decent size just nice for two with medium-size luggage. The shower is a bit small and doesn't come with any bath. Water pressure is good, and the bed materials were of good quality and comfortable. We will stay at the hotel again if the price point is attractive.

Great shopping location”

We stayed here for the Berlin Marathon and found it easy walking distance to the Tiergarten (start line) and close proximity to the underground as well. The rooms are adequate and there is a great pillow menu. Our room did not have a bath but our friends did. The pool/spa area is quite basic but a nice extra.

no one at crowne plaza door to help with luggage check in was efficient when i arrived at room found that mattress was so soft and having chronic back problems asked for a firmer bed. from reception a distinct no. asked to speak to manager......got a response that they could provide a board to slide under mattress....but had no singles available after some wrangling i was moved to a double room with the adjusted board in place. bed was just manageable rooms were spotless and efficiently cleaned there is no concierge information service available i have usually found crowne plaza hotels to be ok this one is impersonal/detatched and not the least bit interested in its guests. the restaurant food in the evening is boring as are all the public spaces

The hotel has un unbelievably peaceful location to be quite in the heart of the city. The staff was very kind and helpful - when stepping from the door immediately in we felt welcome.

Staff very helpful, booked a show for us on hotel phone. Swimming pool excellent for doing lengths, went before breakfast, so wasn’t busy. Robes included Excellent all round for price we paid, as breakfast was included.

Great Hotel at the price I got”

Was small rooms, and to small bathrooms. When you cant turn normally, but must think how to close doors etc the its clearly too small. The bed was good. A room for most people is a clean bathroom in normal size, good bed, and space to put your things on. Thats it. The room didnt have any USB contacts. Even busses have them today... It didnt have AC, which was bad now when it is extra hot. Otherwise, at a good price so is the room OK. You anyway get the money back on the atrsonomical prices you charge in the vending machines , everything actually has high prices, restaurant services. I booked this hotel because of location and the pool/spa. The personel was un trained however, didnt know how to take orders and manage bookings etc. The Pool was however way to cold. Children was freezing , I saw even people get up after a few seconds. A pool is supposed to be relaxation and maybe swimming, or just playing, When it is so cold, neither is a pleasure.

The Hotel Room was ideally located for quick travel to the center. Use 100 or 200 bus to get to most tourist attractions. Located near Kosher and Vegan dining options. Very Clean and sharp looking in the lobby and rooms. Comfortable bed. Good business hotel amenities.

Very nice location if you wish to stay close to Ku'damm and easy access to the rest of the city. Clean, good breakfast, nice little spa and pool.

Hotel with an excellent location”

we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. very friendly staff, clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. the location is very central for sight-seeing and shopping.
