Great place to land in Phangan”
Found the place to be very quiet and chill. Nice pool and view of the little bay. Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff was super kind. I’ll be back.

A private gem on the sunset side of Koh Phangan”
The perfect getaway from the full moon crowd on Koh Phangan. So tranquil! We had the most amazing time staying here. The villas are spacious, clean and have all the amenities you would ask for. The pool is beautiful with a cosy restaurant next to it, perfect to relax for the day. The people that runs the resort are really good people and just that is enough for a return!

Clean and Private Hotel with Friendly Staff”
Like others we came to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party. Now anyone trying to book a hotel for this place would agree that it is a hellish process. Many of the good hotels near Haadrin Beach (where the party is held) require at least 5 days of stay and the hotels at North Beach are too isolated from the rest of the island. Cyana Beach Resort is situated perfectly in between the full moon party and the north beach(which has good beaches). It is easily accessible from the Pier and the main shopping centre. We stayed in a deluxe sea view bungalow with lovely views of the beach and the pool. The hotel property is very quiet and private and has very friendly staff. The hotel manager was kind enough to get our boat ticket from Koh Phangan to Surat Thani booked at the last minute, and also provided us transport to and fro the pier. One drawback for the hotel property is the beach since it is a low tide beach and also very short in length. But it is very beautiful in the night, especially under the full moon. All in all, a perfect start for our Thailand trip and very good experience.

Oasis on a beautiful island”
We had read previous reviews and decided we liked the quiet location but in truth it was a little further than we anticipated so we rented a moped, very cheap but we did see much more of the island than relying on taxis. The layout of the bungalows affords privacy to each one and lovely sea views or garden views. The pool is amply large enough and the small beach adequate but the tide goes out a long way and with the fishing pier over the other side there are better stretches of water to swim in. The restaurant on site has a lovely menu and food is cooked freshly when you order by a very competent chef and the prices are much better than in town so we ate here each night. Our host organised a BBQ one evening, great food and so much of it, a great party atmosphere with other guests. Its a relaxing resort, very clean and efficiently run, you felt as if the whole resort was your private haven. No hesitation in returning or recommending the Island and in particular Cyana Beach Resort, loved it.

Fantastic value hotel in a nice quiet cove”
I loved this hotel and thought it was fantastic value for the quality. I had a lovely bungalow that seemed as if it had only recently been built in the past few years (on an island that has many places which have seen some wear and tear). The pool was small, but had a nice lounge area with plenty of sun chairs for guests. The beach itself is definitely not the nicest that Koh Phangan has to offer and the tide gets very low in the afternoon, but I still loved the location. Cyana is really the only place on the beach/cove, so guests pretty much have the whole place to themselves, save for a few local fisherman. Thong Sala town is less than a 10-minute motorbike ride away. Definitely recommend getting your own scooter, as it would be difficult (or expensive) getting to/from the hotel every time you wanted to leave and go elsewhere.

When we arrived at cyana it was such a ease! It was set back from the road and no where the party atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted as a couple. For food to cook in the kitchen ect just a 500m scooter ride to the nearest family mart (as you head out the driveway turn left) The location couldn’t have been more perfect! Yoga, organic food, vegan food heaven on the doorstep and a short 3/5m drive away!! (Turn left and follow the road staying left and head down the road and pass through all the little villages) We originally booked a week at cyana in the studio with the pool, but because we felt like it was our own special home in Koh pangan we booked even longer with cyana. Our dates were 17th March and checked out 3rd April. The service and ease to rent a bike was super easy! Frank was a delight to talk to and the very helpful receptionist made our stay better by helping us with all our questions and helping us connect to the WiFi. For all couples who love Netflix the studio we stayed it had it.... say no more! We caught up on our favourite series and cooked delicious food in the fully stocked kitchen(pots, pans, knifes ect) They offer a new bikes to rent which again was super easy to do so!! We will come back to you cyana see you soon either this or next year!!! Thanks for everything (Ps don’t forget your mosquito plug and sprays as the odd one may creep in.) Marcus and Emma England, U.K

Excellent place for quiet couple!”
I loved it. Super quiet and I hope it stays that way. Defintely not for Partiers. This is a beautiful garden spot with lots of nature and a nice pool. Wonderful staff and chill chill chill vibe. Breakfast is great. Pool is nice and sun bathing is peaceful. Awesome staff and owner will not disappoint. If you are a high maintenance individual, you will probably find something you dont like. If you are a normal person looking for a quiet hideaway from the Party people on this island, I highly recommend. I miss it already and will come back. Note that there isnt much of a beach here, but this is an island where everyone rents scooters and drives to the easily accessible world class beaches. You can rent a scooter around the corner from the hotel and then you cruise everywhere. Its super fun. Thank you Cyana Beach! There's not much of a beach here but most people rent scooters on the island and drive to fabulous beaches all over it.

What a Gem...”
If you want swimmable beach in the heart of the action, this might not be your best choice. But if you want a fantastic hotel with awesome rooms and super staff, this is your best choice. We rented scooters to get around because the Cyana is not really walking distance to alot of things, although if you walk out to the main road there are always taxi trucks to flag down. The people who run this place go over and above with customer service. The wife cooks some of the best Thai food we had. The Belgian husband was so helpful with anything we needed and enjoyed getting to know them. It isnt the white beautiful beach of some properties but there is a beach and loungers and a great pool that overlooks the ocean. Such a clean, well kept place with some of the nicest staff ever. The rooms are huge and lovely. Not many t.v. channels if u are a t.v. watcher tho. A short ride to lots of food and small towns with 7-11's and beer. (Although the beer right at the resort is cheap anyway). Highly recommend this place😊

Excelle resort for family ”
It was very coll to stay in Cyana Resort . Very quiet and secure resort , very recommended for families with young children's. Excellent food in Restoran cover Thai and standard child's food like pasta , pizza and burgers . Very friendly staff who can book any Ko Phangan attractions for you . Massage can be ordered to Resort , so you no need to looking and reach the massage saloon . Very coll after long adventure and attractions visit day back to Resort and enter to the pool. Tnx for Frank and Nu and all staff for attention and great vacation

Great stay, will return”
Excellent hotel. The staff was great, and took care of my wife and I very well. One minor issue with the room was resolved quickly...no problem. The owner is onsite every day, and has a passion for taking care of his customers. He laid out a wonderful barbecue spread on full moon evening, and all the guests enjoyed the food and some laughs. The pool is clean and beautiful, and the grounds around the rooms are fantastic and well kept. The food at the hotel is great, and very reasonably priced. Chang beer is 50 baht for a small bottle. If there's one small negative about this place, it's that the ocean was at low tide during the daylight hours, so you can't really enjoy the ocean for swimming. But the pool, gardens, and staff more than make up for this. You should be renting a motorbike and checking out the island's many beautiful beaches anyway. I can't say enough good things about Cyana. We will definitely return in the future.

Great location, atmosphere and service”
Only good things to report on... The layout of the whole place is ingenious and not your typical resort. It was virtually built by hand by the owner Frank, who obviously put a great deal of thought and heart into its design. The eating / alfresco area is a great place to hang out and meet fellow guests as are the pool and sundeck areas. The water frontage is quiet, peaceful and beautiful and the actual bungalows themselves are well thought out, well maintained, and quite luxurious for the price. Cyana is about a 5 minute drive from Thong Sala pier and a 30 minute drive from Haad Rin. It may be too far from Haad Rin but for some but for me it was great.

Nice and pleasent stay”
We had a very good time at Cyana beach. We stayed for dinner every evening since we really liked the food. The beach was small but lovely, we rented a scooter to go to different places on the island. Very easy and cheap. We also really liked the people working there and we had an awesome Barbecue on Sunday evening.

Beautiful area, but the beach is not the best”
the location of cyana beach is perfect in a nice, peaceful area. quality of accommodation is provided all of the travelers need. the private beach is not appropriate for enjoyable swimming due to small water high. breakfast includes many option to choose what you are really require.

Exceptional”
The hotel and grounds were lovely. as we went in April with it being the hottest month, the sea was a bit dried up compared to pictures, but it didn't bother us because it was still lovely. The pool was very good and clean. our room was a very decent size and it was clean. even if we didn't need our room making up every day, the staff still left us towels, fresh bottled water and toilet roll on our balcony for us whilst we were at the pool. The food was okay, only had lunch because it was convenient. getting a taxi was very easy as the staff called and they came straight away. Location is a bit out of the way, and had to get taxis because we don't drive. 100baht per person to thong sala town, which was fine for us. the only fault we had was the woman we thought was the manager, she was nice most of the time but not nice on a few occasions and made us feel unwelcome. to the point where we felt she was being so rude to us, it put us off wanting to eat, so we ate in another town. would stay here again regardless! very lovely resort
