Place is very nice and clam. Specially garden is very nice. Staff service was very good and roof service was excellent. Olympic pool is very clean and in good condition. But other big pool is not clean. Floor of the children play area was with soil. Because of that all the time that area was dusty and off playing equipment were full with dust and not cleaned. This was second time of visiting hotel and we stayed for four days. The breakfast was same for the all four days. Main course was Parata and Vegetables curry. For all days. Other items were also same for all day. Yought and other dessert items were not fresh and taste is not good. Frankly speaking breakfast is not worth for 20 AED. Nothing change for last two years. Except these things this hotel is good to spend nice time with the family.

I booked this hotel for the mountain view, but unfortunately, due to heavy fog, I couldn’t enjoy the view at all — which was quite disappointing. On arrival, I also had to wait a long time at check-in just for someone from valet parking to assist me. After entering the room, I slightly moved the sofa and found the area underneath it dirty, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. I was also surprised to find that the ice bucket was chargeable — something that is usually complimentary in most hotels. The one thing I did enjoy was the pool — it was nice and well-maintained. However, I had to call reception five times to request housekeeping, and no one ever showed up to clean the room. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.

“Good stay, spacious rooms, pretty property”
It was a good stay at Danat. Lovely staff, clean place, good views. Rooms are spacious & the property is gorgeous. The location is a bit out of town but taxis arrive on booking so not much of an issue. We chose the Eid holidays so most of the issues we faced were due to the crowds. Although be mindful that half the restaurants like Shooters & Tanjore aren’t operational anymore. This info wasn’t conveyed beforehand. And this is an extremely family oriented resort so it’s not a laidback place for couples if that is what you’re looking for. The crowds got unmanageable during breakfast and had to wait for a table every morning, with the breakfast also running out of stuff very frequently if you came any later than 9:30am. I assume the experience is better on non-holiday stays.
