Diamond Sea Hotel was by far my favorite place to stay in all of Vietnam. Let me start with the hotel itself. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, rooftop pool, and skybar. The room was very spacious and clean. I had a balcony that overlooked the the ocean. You can't really beat the view. But the best part of the hotel was the staff. I cannot say enough about how friendly and inviting the entire staff was. From the doorman, to the valet for my motorcycle, to the front desk staff, to the restaurant and bar staff, to the room cleaners. Everyone was incredibly friendly and treated me with great kindness. I had two seperate stays at this hotel when I was in Vietnam. Upon arriving the second time, several staff members welcomed me back and asked me about my motorcycle trip to Hanoi. I was shocked that they remembered everything from my previous stay. Out of everyone that was so kind to me, I have to specifically mention Helle who worked up in the Skybar. I met her my first day there and looked forward to chatting with her every afternoon before I would go out for the evening. She made me feel very welcome and was very engaging and fun to speak with. She is easy to remember and will be impossible to forget. She remembers your name, room number, and anything that you tell her! At a hotel that has such an incredible staff, it should be hard for anyone to stick out, but she did. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that values a fantastic staff and those interactions that really make you feel welcome. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on my next visit to Danang.

The location is right in the center of the action near the beach. You do need to cross a busy road though which was a nightmare as no one stops for you- even at zebra crossings. There are many restaurants and shops nearby and the hotel is only around 20 minutes from the airport. We got a room on the 17f - out of 18 floors and the view was magnificent. Sea view along the whole beach. But although high up, you can still hear the noise of the outdoor disco at night. The room was nice and big. Furniture in good condition. There was a fridge and the bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot water was ample. The breakfast was excellent with Vietnamese and western dishes and the there was plenty of seating. The pool is on the roof. But it is quite small and shallow. The views are good though - especially from the bar. The staff in the hotel were nice and very helpful.. One downside were the two small lifts. - which often required long waiting times. Overall, it’s nice hotel. Great value for money. I would have hesitation to recommend it.
We spent a week at the hotel in early December 2022. Here are a few highlights: - The location is perfect for us. We can walk along the sandy beach anytime we want, rain or shine, day or night. And there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. - The view is spectacular from the high-floor ocean-facing room. The panoramic view from the roof top is even better, the Sơn Trà Peninsula and the entire Mỹ Khê beach are in front of your eyes, as far as you can see. The city night view from the bar in the back is nothing short of amazing too. You can see the dragon breathing fire on the famous Dragon bridge on the weekend nights, and the bright Hàn River Cruise passing by beneath it - I can only speak for my room. Mine is roomy, clean and comfortable. The housekeeping job is professionally done, so is the room service. - I save the best for last: The big A+ for the staff. Every one we met greeted us with a smile. It is obvious that they will go extra mile to make sure our stay enjoyable, Bella, Ivy, Đen ..., just to name a few (sorry that I don't get all the names). And the lady in the front desk that I forget to read her name. She solved my problem as if it was her own. She asked the shutter driver, when he went picking up guests at the airport, to go to the air line booking office to pay my air fare since my credit card did not work online. So, thank you all for the service. We feel we don't need to try another hotels next time when we will be back to Đà Nẵng. We got what we came and hope for (minus the weather, unfortunately :-) Highly recommended hotel!
We had a sea view twin bed and bath tub with balcony on the 8th floor. The room was really spacious with ample sitting area and a nice balcony with comfortable chairs. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a split a/c in the room. The weather was very pleasant throughout our stay so sitting out in the balcony and watching the sea was a real treat and so relaxing....true holiday feeling!! The best thing about the hotel without a doubt is the staff who have ready smiles on their faces and greetings on their lips. They are really warm and welcoming. Mr France helped us check in on arrival and he didn't fail to ask us every single day if we were comfortable or wether we needed anything. A big shout out to him!!!! The buffet breakfast was excellent with many kinds of bread and cheese in addition to Vietnamese and continental cuisine. The food was delicious and we looked forward to it everyday. The location is excellent. You just need to cross the road snd you find yourself on the beach and amidst several restaurants and beer places. There are many cafes and restaurants and convenience stores all around the hotel. We were pleased to know that the hotel provided free shuttle to the airport if booked a day earlier. We used that service and were grateful for it. Overall we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at the hotel and we confidently recommend it to all.
