Great hotel! ”
Stayed here for 6 days at double tree and my experience was great...I mean what do you expect its Double tree Hilton! Everything here was absolutely amazing! From the hotel lobby to the outside back door where you got this pizza place a beautiful water fountain like a starbucks...and oh yea the swimming pool! I loved there pool deepest end 9 1/2 ft! Now to the room and it was totally amazing/clean but the only thing was that there was a leak in the sink from the pipe on the bottom I notify the front desk ASAP and they asked me if they want someone to fix it I was like it was ok we just put a towel over it and well be alright for 6 days. Other then that though it was great! Oooh 2 more things! That gelato ice cream place is totally amazing if you stay there I totally recommend trying it! Another thing is that they welcome you with this amazing warm cookies! I kid you not I asked for it almost every day because it was unlimited! Overall I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great value for money. Location was so convenient. Few minutes away from Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Lots of food options inside the hotel. Great staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Available vending machines 24/7. Laundry room available. I can’t find anything bad to complain about. Will definitely book again

Easy walk to the park ”
My daughter and I actually enjoyed the walk to the park as it was beautiful. It got us excited. It was about a 15 minute walk which is short enough to return back to the hotel for a break and a bit of a snooze by the pool then back to park. The only downfall was the pool was shaded very early so the pool opportunity basically ended at 5 PM. Everyone was very nice and the room was clean. We had no problems.

Good place for universal”
Pros- location is great for park, clean, friendly staff, updated rooms Cons- given wrong WiFi information ( once we got it, it was very slow). Put not to clean our room sign and they came in anyway which I did not like as we left things out of value. Parking was broken so you had to keep calling help to get them to open gate

I loved the amenities like having a starbucks on the property but shopping and other things like restaurants were too far in my opinion. Nothing decent within walking distance. I didn’t like that I was near an elevator and could hear a lot of commotion every time someone used it even though I had requested to be in a quieter room near no guests on the website I used to book the room. I could also hear the guests on one side of the room every time they flushed the toilet or had a conversation, that was annoying. I did have an issue with the tv, lights, & fridge not working the first night but after calling down stairs, they were quick to respond and get somebody to fix the issue. My only other problem was that the mattress was terrible and it hurt my back. Well the facility was nice and clean it seemed as though the skimmed out on the mattress to compensate for the overall aesthetic.

Great location, but somewhat noisy”
My friend and I had two separate rooms, which unfortunately were right near the elevator. Both rooms smelled very musty when we first entered, and my room's door stuck so you had to shove or wrestle it open each time. If you sleep soundly, regardless of noise, or if you stay up late, you'd be fine here. But assume that people will be coming by or even hanging out in the hallways, talking loudly, at pretty much any time of the night. I'd have expected better sound insulation for the cost and general quality of the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean, but as mentioned earlier, the carpets (I assume) really didn't smell that great -- like previous guests had come back from the pool soaking wet and left wet swimsuits and towels on the carpet.

Not the best for the cost”
I expected the normal Doubletree quality. However, this experience, even the cookies were horrible, (which says so much) was stressful. That’s bad since they are known for their cookies. The air conditioner sounded like a gargoyle was in the room with me, the room got hot than cold, the coffee was atrocious, the tub drained slowly and expect a 20 minute shower because the sprinkle of water is all you get, even the pillows weren’t comfy (my neck started hurting from the first night). This was unexpected and especially at the price. And parking is $25 (with tax) per day. I won’t stay here again. I generally don’t complain but I did and nothing changed except the comp for parking.

It's a very nice experience staying here, we ate at Friday, i Drove tesla and can charge it in Hotel parking area, Parking is free, great location walking distance to Universal Orlando, clean hotel and for sure will be back when we want to go to Universal Orlando.

Location is perfect!. Rooms are a little bit old. Mattress is not hard enough for your back. Same with pillows. Room carpet with humidity smell. Bathroom very uncomfortable because doesn't have hangers where to put the towels. Pool chairs very old and dirty looking.

The standards of Doubletree is evident during the checkin, staying, and checking out process. Clean, staff is nothing short of admirable, and the location...fantastic! Just a reminder for those utilizing the car park, it isnt complimentary with your stay. 23 bucks for parking when other hotels are not charging? Your choice.

3/4 of a mile walk to Universal Valet Area and Security Check station. From there 8 steps to escalators that place you at City Place Entrance”
Double Tree was good value. But be aware that Self Parking is an issue. $23 Bucks charged to your room every night your vehicle is there. Not enough spaces to accommodate the amount of guests. Especially if you arrive late at night. Walk to Universal is pleasant. Once you cross over Kirkman Bridge you are on Universal Park grounds which are immaculate. Overall happy with my stay, but the $23 bucks plus tax a Night on Top of the Hotel Rate, is excessive.

Low price because you pay for everything else”
The Doubletree has an excellent location and it’s a nice hotel. But that’s about it. The toilet flushed slowly like it wasn’t going to flush at all and you had to pay for a continental-style breakfast. A waffle you would get free from any other hotel was $15! Oh and the elevators stopped working one of our days there and we had to climb the stairs to the 16th floor while floors 5-10 had standing water in the stairwell. When we told the front desk of the slipping hazard in the stairwell no one seemed to really care. So it’s in a good location and the price seems good, but it’s because you have to pay for everything else.
