My short stay at Draco Hotel is great! Just 3 minutes walk away from the beach and a lot of restaurants nearby. The room is modern minimalist and clean. Mine had a bath tub which is great for relaxing after a day at the beach. The staff at the front desk, Kha and Dhuy always ready with a smile and help us with our needs. First most their roof top infinity pool is excellent! The view is incredible beautiful. The hotel staffs are polite, very helpful and respectful. Kudos to the reception staffs that able to moved us from room 203 to room 303 due to I have phobia of hotel room without sunlight. Location is excellent!! Very close to eatery and the beach. Here are the not so good: 1. The Superior room we got 203 was horrible. Literally 2 steps away from the elevator! We didn't realize the superior room is windowless!! Even though the hotel photos of the superior room shows there is a long window curtain...but in reality it is a solid wall outside of the windows (very misleading). The room is without any natural light. Very gloomy and stuffy. Very thankful the staff did switch us to another room on the next day. Thank you! 2. the shower drain is not working, water goes to my ankles after several minutes water was turned on. I have to turn off the water and wait for it to drains slowly. Otherwise it will wet the rest of the room. 3. The light switches are not intuitive. The light switch for the main light was hidden under the nightstand. We have to called the front desk for the location of the main light. Just very weird design. 4. The toilet was inside the shower space. The sink is close by the bed. There's no privacy. We have been in Đà Nẵng for 3 weeks and stay at 3 different hotels. This hotel is my least favorite hotel in Việt Nam of my trip to Vietnam. Perhaps other room categories is different. I am very hesitate to give bad review but in terms of bathroom and room without any natural sunlight, it should clearly let the traveler knows because the room pictures and room description is misleading.

The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful , the facilities were top notch and the cleanliness was mpeccable.The bathroom was well maintained and the breakfast was delightful with lots of choices. I traveled with my family of seven (including my 65-year-old grandmother and a 10-year-old elementary school girl). I have lived in Vietnam and have a general understanding of the quality of hotels in Vietnam, so this review is mainly for Japanese people. First of all, my honest impression is that the room is very clean. It seems to be newly built, so there is little sign of aging in the facilities, and I think it is quite hygienic. The hotel is a bit away from the beach, with about three or four streets in between, but you can still see it clearly from the large windows in the room, and you can enjoy a resort atmosphere. The rooftop pool is not large, but it has a nice view, and my 10-year-old was happy swimming and having fun there every day. With the right angles, you can also take great pictures. Vietnamese female guests were also taking great photos. Overall, I think this hotel is more than acceptable even for Japanese people who are particular about cleanliness. One thing to note, which is not unique to this hotel but common outside of Japan, is that the bathroom has a glass partition and is not completely enclosed, so you have to be considerate when using the facilities. This can be particularly tricky between genders, so being thoughtful like stepping out of the room can make for a more pleasant experience for everyone. As for the location, it is about a 4-5 minute walk to the beach. It is easy to go for a swim and come back or visit the cafes and bars along the beach. Additionally, there are several convenience stores nearby, so securing water and snacks is not a problem. It was dry season with quite high daytime temperatures, and I didn’t want my elderly grandmother to walk outside for too long, but a short walk allowed us to enjoy the beach resort atmosphere, which was helpful. In the mornings, it gets very cool, so a morning walk along the beach to watch the sunrise was wonderful. Vietnamese people are early risers, and it is a great opportunity to see their daily culture. The breakfast buffet has very typical offerings for a Vietnamese hotel. Even for those who are not fond of Vietnamese cuisine, there are items like Vietnamese coffee, dragon fruit, and passion fruit that are easy to try and enhance the travel mood. Also, when I tried to order pho in my less-than-perfect Vietnamese pronunciation, they smiled and made it for me. The hotel staff were all friendly and kind. A man named Tang always came over to chat, making the atmosphere pleasant. I made several small requests, and they kindly accommodated all of them. Thank you very much. Probably, there are no staff members who speak Japanese, but if you try to communicate in English, they will be kind and helpful. I was a bit worried about choosing a hotel for a large group traveling with children and elderly people, especially since we are not used to traveling abroad, but it was definitely the right choice. Of course, it is also recommended for couple trips or solo travel.
