This was a good basic stay for a good price. Nothing fancy and you have to request housekeeping if you want the room cleaned during your stay (our only issue). The location was super close to old Town and seaworld, not too loud or busy for our babies. Parking was included and security kept good tabs on the property (there were some homeless folk in the area). We didn't check out the pool or use the communal microwave/laundry but it was available. We also didn't pay for wifi, but it was available as well. We'll stay here again for the price and accessibility.
This place has came through for us non stop. They respect privacy .. arent all over you or your room and are very helpful when needed. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean and their laundry facility has 24/7 access which is a bonus for ppl like myself with night jobs . Housekeeping is very friendly and Front desk is always accommodating and kind. Love it. Plus they're pet friendly!!! And always have great affordable prices!
Love the hotel the staff is very friendly and the facility is near everything convenient. The only problem I have with this hotel is that they would sell the room your a currently staying if you don’t wake up early and fight for your room online they will sell it with you still inside or pay extra for another room just to stay in the room you are in. I hate that there are no microwave close to your room you have to walk way up to the front in order to heat food. But other than that it’s a very nice place for the price especially if you have children and are going through a tough time providing for them this is a decent place to put a roof over their heads to get them out of the cold.
Location is isolated from the main town proper in Old Town, San Diego. Their place looks worn out from the rest of the area. Bathroom tends to leak to the room itself if not careful. Room for four isn't spacious enough. Furniture like cabinets and bedframe looked aged. Privacy in your room needs improvement as thin walls make it hard to sleep when you hear people talking outside. A brightside of it is that you can park in front of the room you're staying. Overall, we're barely satisfied with the experience since it's the cheapest rated motel there.

My stay at the E-Z 8 was borderline unsatisfactory and somewhat tolerable at the least.. To start with at check in I was put into an upstairs room in a building without an elevator, which was difficult to bring my luggage to packed up on a cart, but between the two of us we managed to navigate the stairs with each on either side of it. Additionally the room key system was apparently having issues as my room key failed to grant me access to my room, which was only made possible by being let in by the security guard who was very respectful, considerate and did so with professionalism.. My room key denied me access to my room the entirety of my first of my three days stay, but worked fine the remaining two days.. Lastly, the toilet flushed very slowly and no one came up to repair it even after it was reported to them upon discovery of its needing service.. With the exception of the staff being very courteous and professional, I would normally chalk this up as a place I would avoid in the future. However I also believe in second chances which was given life by the staff... I may have had a bad experience staying there this time around, which is the only one out of five different stays but come make your own experience instead of by being influenced by mine...
