“Very nice hotel with a few glitches”
First of all I should say we liked this hotel very much and found the staff very helpful. Breakfast was good, considering there were a lot of different nationalities to cater for. We did have a few issues on arrival , namely that the blind between the bedroom and bathroom didn’t work and a light in the bedroom was constantly flashing. Within a few minutes of reporting it staff arrived to fix it. We then found that the wardrobe light wouldn’t turn off which didn’t help our sleep quality. I booked a room with a sea view and a balcony because I like to sit on the balcony and read but there was no furniture there. I asked at reception and was told it was for safety. I found this a little strange as we’d previously been staying on the 36th floor in a different hotel and had nice chairs and a table. Not much point paying for a room with a balcony if you can’t use it. We found the bed very comfortable and softer than in other hotels we’d stayed in during our time in Vietnam. The hotel’s a little bit away from the night market and dragon bridge but Grab cars are very inexpensive.
