The staff is friendly, and the buffet-style breakfast was enjoyable. We booked connecting rooms, which was very convenient; however, the door between the two rooms was quite dusty, which was a bit disappointing. It would be great if the hotel could pay more attention to cleaning this area. The room had a slight odor, and the floor felt a bit sticky. One of the toilet door locks was broken, and the shower area lacked privacy—you could slightly see into the room while someone was showering. Additionally, the door to another room couldn’t be locked at all, which affected our comfort during the stay. On the first night, the electricity kept tripping, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, our stay was still okay. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a 3-minute walk from My Khe Beach.
You really couldn’t find a better budget priced hotel anywhere in Southeast Asia if you tried. I left the states Jan of 2010 to travel and have stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide and value wise this place can’t be beat. Ow I’m 6 months into a two year exploration of se Asia with a small family in tow including my 89 year old mom. Location is five minutes walk from the beach. Too many great restaurants within a 10 minute walk from fine dining to $1.50 a plate meals. But I’ll mention bikini bottom( 10 minute walk) for western food and the Parisian bakery (3-4 minutes) as excellent no matter where you’re from. You have a small pool with a beautiful sea view on the rooftop and adequate breakfast with cook to order eggs and fresh soup along with other options to satisfy everyone. But the real star of this place is the staff. Restaurant staff a 10 as is the security doorman and reception staff. They even had a birthday cake waiting for my wife on our departure as her birthday was the next day! Who does that? Download the “grab” delivery app to catch a ride to all parts of the city for $1.50 to $3.50 and for food delivery. Also, one building over to the left go down the driveway and the best laundry service in town. All this we paid about $30 usd a night for two rooms that connected so mom felt safe and we had some privacy. Really can’t say enough except to say we will return after we explore Vietnam for 2 more months we will come back to stay for another week before moving on to the next country 😀
The room is of average comfort, cleanliness only scores 6-7 points. The staff is average, not friendly, only the security guard is enthusiastic and nice. The location is about a 5-minute walk from the beach, the view is not very nice! Considering the price, it is just acceptable! When it rains, water drips in through the window, and they didn’t resolve it immediately, telling me to wait until the next day, but the next day it still wasn't resolved; however, since it didn't rain anymore, I didn't continue to complain!
Our recent stay was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The bathroom was modern and spacious. The walkability to nearby attractions was convenient. The only downside was the location which was not central but still accessible. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and exceptional service.

“Golden Line review”
It's already been more than ten days since my wife and I have been going around cost-effective hotels in Da Nang. As the temperature rises, the number of people swimming has increased significantly. The claim that Da Nang is a city in Gyeonggi Province is false. The places where many Koreans gather are only Han Market, restaurants, and specific accommodations. As a couple with a hobby of traveling around, we hardly saw any Koreans. If you just step a little outside both sides of Han Market, there are only Mexican, Chinese, local people, Mongolians, and people of unknown nationalities. There are absolutely no Westerners. It seems that we don't match the vibe of the area. If you cross the river from Han Market toward My Khe Beach to the direction of Korea Town, aside from Koreans drinking, and Koreans briefly taking pictures at My Khe Beach, the area toward Yeongheungsa is filled with Chinese people, while wherever you go on the My Khe Beach Muong Thanh side, it's exclusively white people. Walking towards the Pak Mi-an Market, it seems like I'm in a town full of long-term-staying Westerners, making it hard to tell if this is Texas or Da Nang. I dined at the famous Bikini Bottom where the staff speaks fluent English, and it shows a rather open-minded attitude when a man and a woman who are strangers start holding hands and leaving just 30 minutes after meeting. I've shared quite a bit, but here is my review of the Golden Line accommodation. - My room is on the top floor, the 10th floor deluxe twin with a bathtub. - Initially, I booked a very cheap room, but it seemed too small, so I ended up reserving a slightly larger room and spent a bit more money, but it's still only 36,000 won per night. The initial booking was 22,000 won including breakfast, and this wasn't due to last-minute price increases, but rather a recent trend of rising prices for mid-range hotels, not just near My Khe Beach but overall in Da Nang. - The reasons for this could be the rising temperatures, as there are few rooms and prices are high. - There were stories about dirty rooms with ants, but I didn't see any ants and found the room just okay in terms of cleanliness. - The facilities are a bit old. - The TV broke early in the evening, and when I contacted the counter, they came to check but couldn't fix it that day, and they did replace it early the next morning. - The staff is relatively friendly, but not overly so. - The dining staff is actually more friendly. Pros: - Cheap price, good location, and relatively quiet outside. - Although the beach view is nearly non-existent as it’s located right behind Muong Thanh, it’s actually nice and quiet. - The staff is friendly, though their experience is a bit lacking; they often ignore greetings. - You can actually use the swimming pool. - There is a fair variety of food without needing to feel self-conscious. - Breakfast is a bit less noisy. There are Chinese tourists around but it's relatively quieter. - There’s nothing missing in the area—there are two or three of everything. - Great food, beach, exotic scenery, lots of white people.
