Absolutely a phenomenal stay and experience, everything went smoothly and the staff was of high standards and professionalism. Elly at the front desk who helped me check in, made it all possible with knowledge not only about the hotel but surrounding areas as well. I’ve asked many questions and some dumb ones too but she enthusiastically answered them with a smile the whole time. Breakfast was great compared to other hotels in Danang and I ate there every morning during my stay. Breakfast staff was on point with cleanliness and the omelette guy took pride in his station. Should be a 5 star hotel in my opinion. They even have a door guy waiting to greet you, I’ve been trying to beat him to the door to open it myself but he’s fast lol. I’ve been to 4 different hotels after Golden lotus and have been regretting not staying here longer.

I didn’t have the best experience overall with this hotel, but there’s a reason I’m still giving it 5 stars — and that’s because of a few outstanding individuals who truly made a difference. Upon arrival, the bellman was very attentive and check-in went smoothly. However, the room was not cool when we entered. We later realized we had to turn on the air conditioning ourselves. Even after an hour, the room was still warm, but we let it go as we were heading to the rooftop pool. When we returned for a shower, the AC still wasn’t working properly. After calling reception, we found out they could control the AC remotely but hadn’t done so. They finally sent an engineer to clean the AC filter — and just five minutes later, it started cooling. Housekeeping had to be called again to clean the bathmat after the engineer left it dirty. On departure day, we were practically forced to check out by a fire alarm going off at 12:15 — it honestly felt like a school bell ringing to switch classes. We were also chased by a call from reception right at noon reminding us to leave the room. Then, during check-out, a front desk staff member shouted from her counter, asking me to settle a remaining balance for a sightseeing tour — a bill we had already paid. I explained this and asked her to double-check, but she continued to insist until Ms. Khan (Kate), the Front Desk Supervisor who had actually witnessed my payment, stepped in and clarified everything. Honestly, this review would have been very different if not for two standout staff: the student trainee with glasses, and Kate the Supervisor — both of whom understood what true hospitality means. The F&B and other departments could learn a lot from them. Thank you to those who made our stay a little brighter. *p/s: I hope every facilities listed on Agoda is ready to use. Upon our stay, there is no Sauna Room!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was by far the best experience I’ve had during my travels across multiple cities in Vietnam. Upon check-in, I was unexpectedly and generously upgraded to the Presidential Suite at no extra cost, which made my stay truly exceptional and one of a kind. The suite was absolutely stunning. The California king bed was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the gigantic balcony—easily the largest I’ve ever had—offered breathtaking views and a perfect spot to relax. Having two bathrooms was also a fantastic convenience! The hotel’s location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the beach, and it’s an easy walk to nearby restaurants. Getting around was a breeze, with Grab rides and taxis being readily available for pick-up right outside the hotel. The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive, with excellent communication throughout my stay, making me feel right at home. Front lobby staff were always ready with a smile and door man was always quick to attend to guest luggage and opening/closing the door. (Always a nice small touch that makes guests feel special and welcomed)! One of the highlights was the beautiful rooftop infinity pool. Taking an evening swim while overlooking the city was simply magical and one of the most memorable moments of my trip. You can see the city of Da Nang and beach from the pool! There is a rooftop bar accompanying the pool as well. I did not utilize the bar, but I appreciated the fact that the bar opening at night did not result in the pool closing like most hotels here do. Keeping the pool and bar open simultaneously definitely means a hotel caters to all of their hotel guests amentities. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer to fully enjoy the luxurious upgrade. This hotel is hands down my favorite in Vietnam, and I can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel is centrally located and well maintained. The rooms are clean, spacious with full amenities. The rooftop infinity pool is big and super clean. This is the about the best pool I have seen in a 4 star hotel during my years of travelling. The hotel provides excellent local and continental breakfast. I am very impressed with the warmth hospitality shown by the hotel staff. When I checked in on 8 Apr evening Ms Hanh patiently showed me the nearby restaurant to have dinner. During breakfast, Mdm Ngor Thao was very friendly and helpful. The next day when I approached Ms Khanh to book a tour to Bana Hill. She patiently explained in details the options available and helped to arrange the tour. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time. When I encountered difficulty in booking Grab to the airport, Ms Elly spontaneously used her hp to book the ride for me. Concierge Tham and bellhop Hung prodvided expeditious checked out. I must congratulate Golden Lotus Grand for having such a fine team of staff that provide service that is par excellence. This is THE HOTEL to go if you are in Danang.

The hotel is nice, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were all so friendly, the reception staff helped with requests to change room and also to stay an extra night and the breakfast staff were very attentive, warm and professional. The room was big, light, clean and we enjoyed the bath with the view and we faced the beach side. They need to add black out blinds / curtains as you can see a lot of light from hotels and buildings, the room doesn’t get very dark. You can also hear a lot of noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms and we had some noisy neighbours. The rooftop area is excellent with a good view of the beach. The breakfast was delicious and had enough variety for us as vegetarians. The afternoon tea was a good add on, but the quality could have been better. We had a comfortable stay, thanks for hosting us!
