Long weekend family trip to Berlin”
We loved Gorki Apartments. Our rooms were fashionably hip, with beautiful accommodations and well-equipped kitchens. And the location was ideal as Gorki is in the midst of cafes and beautiful boutiques, and right around the corner from Museum Island. The staff was incredibly helpful, whether getting a cab, making dinner reservations, or securing tickets to the Boros Collection (which I couldn't do from the states). We had a fantastic trip and I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Berlin. Gorki is a gem!

Love at first sight”
I've left a little part of me at gorki apartments. I arrived after lots of travelling, it was very easy to find, the huge doors opened and I found myself in this enchanted, peaceful setting. Winding stairs, flowers growing up the building. As I made my way to reception, the staff welcomed me and offered me something to drink, then showed me to my room... wow! So beautiful ... my eyes immediately were drawn to the bath as I visualised myself there later in the evening, topped with bubbles, wine in hand & music playing from the already installed Bose sound system. The whole apartment was divine, high ceilings, nothing wasout of place or run down. I felt like I was home! Slippers, robes, water, cookies, bath & shower, cooking untensils, tv, balcony, free organic bath products. Worth every penny ♥ thank you for a perfect nights sleep. I will be back - next time not alone.

The apartments exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff and great location. It was so comfortable to stay here, we would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. Staying here made our stay in Berlin extra special.

Looked stylish BUT style over comfort and function”
Met by friendly staff and we were grateful to have the room ready as we were early. we had deliberately booked a large apartment 51 sq m. to be more comfortable. Room initially looked promising - stylish with large storage in entrance, opening straight into a bathroom with freestanding bath. We had to walk through the bathroom to access bedroom! However although described as apartment , in reality we had a bed with sink, dishwasher ,fridge and 2 hotplates along the side. There was a coffee maker and tea We had no table, just a small wheeled wooden trolley with 2 tiny 3 legged stools which were completely impractical . There was no other seating apart from one plastic chair and a tiny lamp table. As no phone in rooms we went to reception to ask for a second chair and were brought a small rusting metal chair! Fortunately we spent little time in the room but were stunned at the strange layout and lack of comfort and basic facilities such as a practical table or desk and comfortable seating.We have stayed in various hotels in Berlin and chose this because we thought an "apartment " would be more flexible . Sadly wrong. However With a little more thought into the comfort ie proper table and chairs and a couple of comfortable chairs it would be great. I assume looking at the photos that many rooms DO have these but sadly not ours and at £168 a night for basic room we would expect this at least

Nice ambiance”
Service was excellent with a good suggestion on restaurants nearby. They left garbage bag on kitchen counter after cleaning. I hope they just forgot to take care of it. Amenities can be German organic products instead of American products, I think. So that I could have tried out some products to be purchased from Berlin as souvenirs.

Great spacious cool rooms in great location”
We had a lovely weekend break staff so helpful explaining where and what to do. Many sights walking distance,also tube station 1 min away so easy to get aground city with ease. I would highly recommend these apartments you won't be disappointed.

modern and stylish design comfortable bed fantastic Nespresso coffee very helpful staff nice amenities The ONLY problem is that, there are difficulties to enjoy a lazy weekend brunch as its catering services are outsourced to cafes & restaurants nearby in the neiborhood so the seats are not guarenteed if you didn't make reservation. I got rejected and a little pissed off.
