Amazing all around ”
This hotel is great because it offered everything I was looking for. It is in an area with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The metro station is behind the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and so new. You feel it is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and the items are good quality. The staff are exceptional especially Mr. Fadi Moubarak at the reception who helped me sort my last minute PCR test.

Minutes walk to metro station. And the metro is very convenient and fast. Train comes every 5 minutes. Central Dubai so closer to go either way towards marina and beach or to the business district and Dubai mall. Restaurants all around the street by hotel, markets, cheap retailers. Get a feel for older world dubai. Highly recommend Tasty Bal chicken on the street. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Hotel is very nice, spacious room, US power plug available. Great shower. Overall fantastic value for the money. I spent 4 times as much to be in business and financial district and it was not convenient efficient no easy access to anything on the street. Highly recommend this area and especially this hotel.

Amazing hotel”
We had an amazing time staying at the Grand Cosmopolitan hotel and great value of money. below is the summary: Positive: The location is central and it's easy to reach anywhere. Breakfast is great with lots of variations. The pool is amazing with a nice view over Burj al Arab. The gym is well equipped. The staff is super friendly. Negatives: The pool sometimes gets full of children which can be annoying, there is already a children's pool, but they jump to the main one, I believe the hotel needs to have stronger control over this. Five stars hotels usually have a coffee machine in the room, but this one has only a kettle and Nescafe.

A Split Decision”
This is a bit of a schizophrenic review. On the one hand the room proper could pretty much do no wrong. The bathroom, though, had a couple of grave issues. First, the good. The room, the "Executive Suite" was huge. Oddly, in the current Agoda listing there is only one picture that shows this, the last after a lot of the bathroom. The thing is so long that one almost has to stand on a chair to see the floor at the other end due to the curvature of the earth. The king bed looks like a double does in most hotel rooms. There is one caveat here, though: That size is largely due to this not being a suite by most definitions. Suites usually have multiple rooms. This does not. For me, and I suppose most travelers, this is no problem, though I could see a business traveler intending to have a meeting with a client and a large bed might be seen as inappropriate. The mini bar had great variety, though with breakfast costing 110 dirhams (though available until noon!) I did not investigate the price; this oddly required one to swipe one's key card somewhere and the prices would be displayed on the TV or something like that. The curtains were exceptional: Barely a ray of light got through when they were drawn. Overall it was one of the best rooms I've stayed in... until you had to heed the call of nature and venture into the lavatory. The first problem was the hot water at the sink. It took several minutes to arrive and when it did it never reached a temperature much over medium warm. I tried reducing the flow rate in case it was an on-demand heater but this had no effect. The temperature would be fine for hands and face washing but it was way too low for shaving, at least for me. I have whiskers that need nano-sized lumberjacks to tame so steaming hot water is a must. If you do not share this unfortunate trait the only problem would be the wait. Oddly, the shower, after maybe two minutes, produced water that could cook a lobster. It was amazing. Lovely hotel, spacious clean well equipped rooms. Pleasant staff. Only issue very minor is hot beverage service at breakfast very hit and miss. Located very close to metro area is safe but probably more suited to businesss breaks. One thing to note is the hotel is located in a dry area meaning there is no alcohol sold in the hotel or locality.

A Nice Hotel ”
Stayed for 6 days or so at the Grand Cosmopolitan. The hotel has met and also exceeded my expectations. Rooms are spacious and contemporary looking. Stayed at the Premium rooms and then the Executive Suite and Grand Suite. Rooms were great. Breakfast has a good variety of options. I usually got the chef to cook my eggs with egg whites only and everything on it. Quite accommodating. Fadil, Nikita and Sabina at the reception were pleasant and helpful. Thanks to them for the good quality service and info during my stay. Will return again. 👍🏽.

Service needs improvement ”
Had to change my room 3 times as my request for a twin bed was not taken down. I contracted Covid-19 during my stay here and the staff was not very helpful with the local policies or procedures that I need to take note. Also, no help was offered for my travel buddy when she has to isolate in a different room. We ended up figuring things out on our own and booked another hotel nearby for isolation. Duty manager was great as she step in to help with the processes but I thought the service staffs could be more helpful with the covid guidelines and isolation procedures.

New hotel in Dubai ”
Built in 2020 this hotel was nice and new, big & spacious rooms with very comfortable bed and pillows 😊 The buffet breakfast was average quality and expensive so was the restaurant. The lobby is small and basic for a 5 star hotel. The location is close to Mall of emirates, Burj Alarab, and beach. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
