I had a great experience during my recent stay at the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Bur Dubai. The location was perfect—close to local shops, restaurants, and easily accessible by public transport. The hotel is in a lively area but still offered a peaceful environment for rest. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the variety at breakfast—there was something for everyone, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The hotel amenities, including the gym and pool, were well-maintained and convenient. I also enjoyed spending time at the sports bar, which had a relaxed vibe and good service. Overall, the Grand Excelsior Hotel delivered excellent value for money, and I’d be happy to return on my next trip to Dubai. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, close to the metro, restaurants, and shopping areas in Bur Dubai. The staff are welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. My regular room is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed playing pool with friends at Dug Out and the variety offered at breakfast each morning. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. I am happy with my stay as always over the years here and highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.
I expect that some people may complain that the Grand Excelsior is somewhat 'dated'. I would have to admit that the hotel is not 'brand spanking new'; however, it delivered on everything that I had asked for. The hotel said that it was smoke-free and I did not even catch a whiff of smoke anywhere, neither within my room or outside of it. I asked for a quiet room; I stayed for 3 days and my room was exactly that: QUIET... and the room was clean. The hotel's description said that it was a short walk to the Metro Station and indeed it was. It was not far to either the ACBD station or Burjuman. On the walk to Burjuman Station, one passes 3 little grocery stores which were great for buying water, snacks etc at reasonable prices. Burjuman Station itself is located directly beside the Burjuman Mall where I scored a major deal on a designer label fragrance at a price that was less than half that of Duty Free.

My stay at Hotel Grand Excelsior, Al Mankhool, Bur Dubai for 5 nights, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professional service. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and housekeeping ensured everything was spotless every day. I also appreciated the little touches, like complimentary water bottles and fruit basket. A quick check-in process that made my stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with a good mix of international and regional dishes. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and friendly, always checking if guests needed anything. It has been my regular hotel for the past 10 years.
