Excellent resort. Very attentive staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Asian restaurant buffet is top notch; variety of food (even with picky eaters). Family friendly environment with activities for all ages. Kids club staff is excellent! Room was large enough for family of 6. Private beach (coconut beach) was very intimate and not crowded. Zen Spa staff were professional and made a last minute booking very convenient. Resort offers kid baby sitting which allowed my wife and I to enjoy spa treatment (for a very reasonable price). Only regret is that we didn’t spend more time at the resort. Definitely coming back to Grandvrio!

During our first stay in Da Nang, my husband and I stayed at the Gran Vía Ocean Resort. Our room was comfortable, we enjoyed daily spa treatments, delicious breakfasts, and the restaurants were all outstanding. However, what left the strongest impression on us was the wonderful hospitality of the staff. In particular, the Japanese manager personally greeted us several times during our stay and addressed us by our names, which deeply moved us. The heartfelt hospitality was also evident in the thoughtful send-off during check-out, and we felt a constant sense of comfort and warmth throughout our stay. Moreover, we were pleasantly surprised when the staff greeted us with a bright "Xin Chào!" each time we passed by and when we were provided with welcome drinks upon check-in and farewell drinks upon check-out. These small touches reflected a sincere attitude of hospitality. Regarding the facilities, there was a clean and pleasant large public bath, which was a great help in easing our travel fatigue. The beautiful private beach and well-maintained pool were also impressive, and strolling along the beach in the morning or spending time watching the sunset was truly a dreamlike experience. While families can certainly enjoy this resort, it's also a great place for a relaxed adult getaway. It remained memorable until the very end, and I genuinely feel that I would like to come back. I used your service for the first time. First of all, the greetings and smiles from the staff are wonderful! I was impressed that I could receive warm greetings with smiles everywhere, which I believe reflects the high standards of training at this Japanese-style hotel. The Japanese manager is very responsive to any questions we have, and is easy to talk to anywhere in the hotel, making it stress-free to ask even minor questions, with no language barrier at all! The cleanliness of the rooms and the large public baths was exceptional, and the service for preschool children (such as unlimited ice cream in the lobby) was superb, making this hotel perfect for families with small children. We had multiple meals at the hotel, and the food was delicious. The Japanese restaurant is genuinely Japanese, not the typical lesser version, and is quite exquisite! The kids' pool has three different depths, which is friendly for children, and the toys in the kids' room are plentiful. The outdoor playground is just the right size for both children and adults to supervise them. Although we stayed for three nights, I wished we could have stayed longer. Additionally, when my child had a minor injury, a staff member noticed immediately and brought a nurse to provide assistance, which impressed me greatly. Thanks to them, the injury was minimized. The spa was also very comfortable and pleasant. We were on an inclusive plan, but I think such a reasonably priced hotel is hard to find even at an extra cost. There is a free shuttle bus to the city and Hoi An, which helped us make the most of our stay. I definitely want to visit again while my children are still young! Our first overseas trip with our child in Da Nang, and choosing this hotel made it a wonderful memory! I truly feel grateful for the wonderful service we received here! The managers at the Route Inn Hotel chain are very considerate and kind. All the staff are friendly and attentive, and their Japanese-style hospitality is so thorough that it makes us feel humbled. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet is delicious and offers such a variety of dishes that we feel we wouldn't be able to try them all even if we stayed for five days. The beach is quiet, as it is a private beach, and there are plenty of facilities like pools, making it very good. The laundry service, including washing and drying, costs around 200,000 VND, which is about 1,200 yen. If you send it out in the morning, you can receive it back the same day. The greatest benefit for Japanese people is undoubtedly the toilets. The room has a perfect washlet, and although the other toilets in the hotel are basic, they are also equipped with washlets. This is a first-time experience for me in Southeast Asia. The only slight drawback is that since the area around the hotel is local, there are personal shops where you can buy things like water or snacks, but there are no restaurants or convenience stores that cater to Japanese tastes, so taxi transport is essential. A one-way taxi ride with Grub costs around 1,300 to 1,000 yen. However, this is definitely a hotel I would repeat my stay at.

This marks my second visit, and once again, I experienced an extraordinary stay that far surpassed my expectations. My time at Grandvrio Ocean Resort Danang has proven to be the most comfortable and restorative I have ever had, with every detail reflecting authentic Japanese hospitality that has left an indelible impression on my heart. - Impressive Service as a Beach Resort The resort features a sprawling pool area and a perpetually pristine beach, both enhanced by playful touches and uncompromising safety measures that help create a worry-free environment. Although I opted not to use the spa this time, the highly acclaimed spa facility is also available on-site. The friendly smiles and upbeat service of the staff made every guest feel warmly welcomed, and the resort’s consistently high standard of service ensured I felt secure and well cared for throughout my stay. - Dining Breakfast is available in three distinct areas—a Japanese-style dining section, a buffet, and an open bar by the beach—allowing guests to enjoy a different culinary experience each morning. What truly stood out was the quality of the Japanese cuisine; it was so authentic that it defied the typical expectations for an overseas resort. The freshly fried tempura was absolutely exquisite. In fact, the care with which the ingredients were selected and meticulously prepared conveyed the heart of traditional Japanese hospitality, even surpassing the dining experience I enjoyed at a venerable, prestigious onsen ryokan that I recently visited in Atami. - Bath & Sauna The spacious Japanese-style public bath gently soothes the fatigue accumulated from sightseeing and various activities, offering a level of luxury akin to that of a traditional hot spring inn in Japan. In addition, the fully equipped sauna provides a delightful sweating experience and detoxifying benefits that refresh the body from the inside out. With its rigorous standards of cleanliness and attention to every detail, the entire facility delivers an unparalleled, indulgent relaxation experience. - Heartwarming Staff Hospitality Every interaction with the staff was marked by warm, attentive care, ensuring I was enveloped in a constant sense of reassurance. I was especially moved by how, when I fell ill, fresh fruit was thoughtfully arranged and delivered to my room. Such considerate gestures truly exemplify how genuine service cherishes each guest. Thanks to these small yet meaningful details, I was able to relax completely and savor an opulent moment of rejuvenation. - The Remarkable Presence of General Manager Toyo-san General Manager Toyo-san, who is present in the lobby from dawn until midnight, is the driving force behind the resort’s exceptional quality of service. His tireless and devoted work commands my deepest respect. However, his overwhelmingly pivotal role also raises concerns about whether the same level of hospitality could be maintained in his absence. His extraordinary efforts and passion for delivering authentic Japanese hospitality in a foreign land are truly irreplaceable. - Overall During the challenges of the pandemic, the rapidly growing economy in Vietnam, and rising prices, I have tremendous respect for how this resort consistently upholds such high standards of service. Moreover, despite its premium offerings, the resort manages to remain both affordable and reasonable, providing outstanding value for money. Grandvrio Ocean Resort Danang is an extraordinarily rare destination where one can experience Japanese-style hospitality and comfort like never before while abroad. With its sophisticated dining, superb bath and sauna facilities, and the heartfelt service of all the staff—especially the high quality of its authentic Japanese cuisine and exquisite spaces for relaxation—this resort has provided me with the most moving and restorative experience to date. I look forward to returning with heartfelt anticipation—it is truly my favorite resort in the world.
