Good hotel, not so good location. ”
Its our first time in the Bay area (San Francisco) and we opted for a out of the city district hotel. We thought this is a good deal thinking its just a few miles away from San Francisco. But OAKLAND area is not for vacationing family. There's a cons and pros in this hotel. It is a good hotel, near freeway (you can actually see the freeway from our window). The noise didn't bother us since we lived all our lives in a city. The only problem is there's somewhat a lot of bad experiences we have OUTSIDE the hotel. Staff in a nearby shopping centers are RUDE to us. We saw first hand a thief incident in a hip (i thought safe) shopping center in Bay Street...in broad daylight. A guy snatched FORCEFULLY an ipad in an apple store...and it seems its a day-to-day thing there. Though there's a security personnel in ALL establishment we went to, even KFC has a security personnel which is odd because we've been though a lot of city in the USA and it was a first time we've seen security personnel in an establishment.

Very Clean ”
Very clean hotel, rooms are nice roomy, parking is reason. Staff very helpful, housekeeping staff are awesome. The only challenge is the location of the Hotel you have to travel in circles to get to the hotel from San Francisco.

Nice location”
Polite and helpful concierge staff. Easy on/off bay bridge for easy access to/from San Francisco. Secured but charged car park. Rooms have either sea or mountain view. Free internet access. Rooms are sound proof providing quiet resting environment despite busy traffic close by. Room rates are reasonable and room size is big.

Pleasant surprise”
We had to stay at another local hotel closer to the airport on our first night before transferring to the Hilton Garden Inn. Thank goodness we found the Hilton. Far superior in all ways including affordability. Highly recommend.

Good location”
I stayed here for a week while working at Kaiser Oakland. It was about a 10 minute drive on the freeway, 15-20 minutes through town. Facility was clean, nice workout area. They were just beginning a remodel of the lobby during my stay, which in my opinion did not seem necessary. Room price was great, however $17 for parking each night is pretty steep. Breakfast buffet was also $17, so I skipped that and ate breakfast at the hospital. Would stay here again if work takes me back!

Comfortable, nice staff”
We chose this hotel so we could be near the Oakland International Airport for our departure. The room was a decent size and comfortable, the high floor gave us a good view. The mattress was a bit soft. There is only a coffee maker and I am a tea drinker, so I was unable to make a cup of tea in the room. Breakfast was not included. Access to the airport was ok.

I picked this Hotel because it was a great price, close to shopping and eating. Everything was wonderful and romantic we had a great Bay view on the 12th Floor and I would definitely stay there again however our King size bed was so uncomfortable. It sank in the middle. If I had to do it over again, I would check the room and check the mattress to make sure it didn't sink in the middle. It was the most uncomfortable 2 nights. We stayed in room 1219. My husband slept diagonally and I just tried to hold on to the edge so I wouldn't slide to the middle. I would recommend Housekeeping to check the beds to see if they need replacing. Other than that the room was wonderful.

Perfect hotel, great location, food, facilities”
Fantastic! Thanks to the staff. Great room, bathroom amazing, comfy beds, good location, clean, good price, luxury. Maybe signpost the parking entrance better off the main road, when you see the hotel it looks like it's on the other side so we had a few wrong turns and annoyed a few drivers but once we were in it was an amazing stay! They give you earplugs in case of any general city noise but it was fine and we didn't need them. So comfortable too! I think we were accidentally given a twin room instead of king bed but we didn't notice as the beds were huge anyway. Good night's sleep. Great breakfast which doesn't finish too early, and free internet in the rooms! Thanks!

East bay Central location”
Staff were warm and friendly. They welcomed us with water bottles and choc chip cookies! Coffee was available at reception 24/7 for free! Shuttle service was also available. There is a schedule at lobby for shuttle service to the shops, to the city, to the airport, etc. We hsd to pay for parking $10 per day which we didn't mind considering that hotel rates were reasonable. Wifi was complimentary. Breakfast was $16 per head. It was a lovely buffet breakfast which was open until 11 am!! Wow! It's a great hotel with spacious area in the room. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. There's an ice dispenser and vending machine outside the room instead of mini bar inside the room. Very smart!!! There is a fitness centre and a small whirlpool. Choc chip cookies were always available at reception for free daily from 4pm which I think is such a sweet welcome gesture making us feel at home. Reception and lobby area are so welcoming, I entertained my guests at the lounge by the fireplace. It's a lovely, comfy setting!

Everything great except checkin due to error”
My stay was great. Only complaint was due to bad customer service. Booked hotel online, confirmation was not sent to hotel. Check-in was delayed for 30 minutes while hotel staff struggled with lack of USA customer service line for confirmation of reservation.

Excellent value for money”
We will definitely use this hotel again the next time we are in SF. Newly renovated and modern facilities. Very clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Comfortable lobby/reception area to entertain your guests. We stayed at the fireplace all night which was close to the bar where we had a few drinks. There is a large dining table which fit our huge family where we booked 6 rooms at that time. Breakfast is excellent. WiFi is free. Wish parking was also included. Overall, excellent rate and value for money.

Comfortable”
I am a returning customer. Our family booked 5 rooms all together. I convinced my family to book here because I am very happy with service. The hotel is centrally located to where I wanted to go. There is a large shopping area just 2 miles across. Breakfast is great. Parking and breakfast are paid for separately. The hotel has been recently renovated. It just feels like home with the oversized dining table and comfortable lounges at the lobby. We loved the fireplace.

Poor Check-in Service”
My reservation was through Priceline. The front desk clerks could not find my reservation so the ask their manager to assist us. The manager had my wife and I waiting over twenty minutes which was frustrating after a long drive from Orange County. Total wait time was about 45 minutes. We asked that they provide is a room ASAP while they sort out the computer glitch issues. A room was assigned to us after we demanded service. Jesse Adawag
