Perfect stay ! Clean room clean sheets clean shower and bathroom , food buffet is good quick check in and out , near katong laksa (famous laksa place) friendly staff . Ac is working perfectly — Singapore is one hot and humid place I’m very thankful for the ac and the WiFi. WiFi is the extremely quick (compared to Philippines internet) . They have a complimentary phone to order taxi but didn’t use it coz I bought the travel SIM card

For us, everything we experienced at this hotel during our 2 nights stay was great. The staffs are very polite & helpful, the breakfast is very nice, the smoking corner is convenient, the room is comfortable (I love the pillows!) for two. Easy access by bus to National Stadium & other popular spots. Will stay here again on my next visit.

At first we were skeptical because of the location is not near to MRT station, but we were not worry anymore after we figured out there is a bus station just 200-300 meters away from the hotel and everywhere is accessible if you know how to use Google Maps ;) The hotel is value for money if you compared with those in central area and best is it comes with decent breakfast! Ok, so we stayed in another hotel in CBD area before HolidayInn Ex Katong, this hotel staff here have a very positive and good attitude that makes me feel so comfortable, while I was waiting for the coffee machine to have my coffee ready so I look around and a lady thought I need some help and she ask "Yes sir, anything I can help?", and while the day we're ready to check out, a cleaning staff knocks the door and provide us 2 more bottle of drinking water even we are about to leave at that time. To be honest, these attitude is priceless and I definitely will come back to this hotel again when I'm back to SG. Awesome!

Decent hotel in a quaint neighbourhood”
Hotel is good value for money for a quaint, quirky neighbourhood and a stone's throw away from the city (15 mins bus ride). Surrounded by lots of heritage eateries which represents the different ethnicities in Singapore. The property itself is pretty nifty - compact in size but no less clever and comfortable.

One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. Location was excellent - no shortage of eating places within short walking distance. Hotel staff were nice and responsive to my needs. Very good breakfast that came with the room rate.

Superb location with plenty of lovely eating joints all around, several shopping malls abs well connected to the entire island with so many bus stops all around. AC worked well, adequately sized clean room with a free local phone, a laundraumat and satisfying breakfast and efficient check in and check out.

Best Value for money stay in Singapore”
This was our second time to stay at Holiday Inn Express, and we enjoyed it just as much. The room was clean and comfortable, and quite spacious. The staff are friendly and attentive, and most importantly, always willing to help with any request. They were even willing to accommodate our request for an extended check-out. The breakfast buffet was tasty and filling. But, if that is not enough, there are so many great options just outside. They are walking distance from some of the best chinese restaurants in Singapore. Incredible value for money, and I personally will not stay in any other hotel whilst in Singapore.

Room is spacious enough and well designed. Love the floor to ceiling windows. Clean and modern. Beds and linens are so comfy. We got the Queen standard which includes a Handy Mobile unit with free unli data and international calls to certain countries. Great value as we didn't need to purchase sim for mobile data as we toured around. Electric plugs in the room are universal and there's also USB slots by the desk. There's a bluetooth speaker/alarm/radio too and a Smart TV with cable and Youtube (video categories are preselected tho so you can't search). Hassle free check-in and check-out. Good breakfast. Great staff. Affordable rates. Situated in Katong, neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Internet is fast enough for streaming. Has 24-hr gym and self service laundry. Beside a mall, 7-11 also nearby. No nearby train station but bus stop at Roxy sq. is only 250m away from hotel so mostly commuted via bus. Looking forward to stay with them again!

Staff were very professional and polite. The buffet breakfast was value for money and the pack and go option was a bonus. The hotel was clean and had everything i needed. one downfall though is the location...as a tourist it's hard to find a tour that offers hotel pickup from this location therefore you have to take a taxi, which is quite convenient too and the hotel staff are always willing to help you book one. Thank you Holiday Inn Express Katong, i enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here for a few nights. It is outside of the main "downtown" area so you will need to take a bus ride to get to most tourist destinations. But, it is one of the better value hotels. Good breakfast included, room was comfortable, clean, nice shower, and big bed. Honestly, no complaints here, so would recommend. Just be prepared for the bus ride to and from the city, not an issue if you plan to spend the full day exploring.

Worth every penny”
It was a last minute booking, but the price was reasonable. The staffs are very helpful for our request, the room is clean and the breakfast is good. What’s more excited is opposite the hotel was a stretch of restaurants, food heaven! I believe you can find whatever food you looking for.. from Chinese to Indian to Muslim halal food and even nice bar to chill.

Good for a family trip”
Located in a beautiful neighbourhood, with East Coast Park and Parkway shopping centre nearby. Not very close to MRT station, but multiple bus lines connect directly to city centre. They deserve credit for clean facilities with super comfy beds, and good breakfast. The only minus was you can hear guests next door , as rooms are not quite sound-proof. Other than that, a satiafactory stay overall.
