Room is clean and design is good ”
Everything is good, the room has view overlooking a football field and we can see people training for football on the evening. Location is just walkable distance to the main street that has a lot of eatery. The hotel provide free parking slot. The only thing is room service is quite slow. Ask for extra pillow can wait 30min to get it. And call 3 times to receptionist, only 1 time pick up. The 2 times no body answer. Other than this, everything is good. Recommended to stay for value of money.

This is a fairly new hotel situate in an out of town area, which has a bustling commercial area around it. Not particularly a nice area, but with many restaurants nearby with reasonable pricing. It's a fair walk to the nearest MRT station (Aljudied), but if you're ok with that, it allows good access

Basic and cheap…You get what you pay for!”
We liked the hotel as it was close to small food shops so we could get breakfast or a snack easily and cheap prices. Food - Vada, pratas, murtabak, omelet, coffee-O! Yum Indian and Malaysian food. Breakfast for two, heaps for no more than $10 Sing $. Had to hassle to get the room cleaned/made up daily as appears the guy was over worked. Desk staff great. Got us extra pillows, iron and bisrd, ordered taxis for us as our Singtel SIm would not work. Room and bathroom a great size considering a cheaper hotel. Smart TV so had access to U tube and could log into Netflix. Only BIG issue was bed was SO HARD Sleep wasn’t the best. Shower was hard to regulate water would go hot cold hot cold by itself. The hotel is too far from an MRT, would have been a 20min walk which is why we started using taxis. You get what you pay for,though we won’t go there again.

Good: This is a brand new hotel Nice window view Bad: Hot water temp fluctuating, unable to have a proper shower at all Cleaning service showed up 1 out of 3 days stay Noisy even with my aircon turned off, can hear ac running from next door, prob bad sound proof 15 mins walk to closest MRT Located at Geylang which is a red light district in Singapore

If you carry 2 or more pieces of luggage, you have to be careful when you are going in the elevator because the elevators close so fast and it's very dangerous. For Singapore, I think this is a good place if you are saving heaps. There are 24/7 restaurants and shops nearby and good access to public transport. The rooms are clean but the smell of the bathroom is terrible. The space is small but that's okay. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. It is a very quiet location but you can hear the sound of the approaching people in the hallway. It can be really loud. Overall, I like my stay here. We enjoyed our Singapore Trip!

The price is very good for what you get. There are bus station in 5min walkable distance. The staff should give out warnings for people who are loud at night!

Not great for what you pay ”
They start by not finding the reservation and after 1 hour they could fix it but they wanted to send us to another hotel. The bed was incredibly hard, like sleeping on the floor. The space is limited, hard to open 2 suitcases at the same time. The good thing is that the staff was incredibly friendly and made great recommendations for food. It is surrounded by restaurants, which is great too.

The most important thing i look for in a hotel is cleanliness and the location. Hotel 81 Princess definitely provided me with a clean room and most importantly an affordable room with access to most places in Singapore. With public transportation that takes me to town in 15mins, definitely a place to stay in stay in future
