Much better than I expected”
Super good location. The hotels in the edge side of the beach are surrounded by construction site but this hotel is located in the middle, so I could sleep without the noise. The room is so big. A deluxe room is big as other hotel's family room and 3 times than a normal one. My wife is very sensitive to the cleanliness and the floor, a rock like marble, was so good. Super better than a carpet.

Great except....”
Everything was great except...upon checking out late because I had a business meeting over the internet from the room, I asked for them to please waive the late checkout fee because the night before I was inconvenienced when they forgot to give me my ID card after making a copy and I looked all over for it. Instead of giving it any consideration, they just stared at me and asked me to pay. They didn't apologize or say anything. Just stared at me which I found odd and uncomfortable. Maybe they couldn't speak English? However, they call themselves a tourist hotel so I was expecting some kind of response when I asked a question. Besides the uncomfortable interaction with the staff, the hotel seemed great.

Great location, nice view, but bedbug found”
Renovated facilities in the room and the great view looked good. Mattress and bedding were a little uncomfortable. The problem was that bedbugs or fleas were found. I was not sure what they are. But surely, they crawled and bite my skin and sucked my blood. I couldn't sleep that day because they sucked my blood. I'm still itchy my skin and disinfected all my belongings. I am requesting a refund to Agoda.

NOT 4 STAR hotel!!!”
To whom it may concern ( I hope the owner sees this! ), I want to let you know how disappointed I am in this hotel. I booked the high 18th floor king size bedroom, the best room from what I can tell. The location and view are amazing! However the quality is very poor! The room was filthy dirty with black mold growing in the shower, sink area, and windows. The smell of mold was strong and even caused my wife and I to react as we are both allergic to mold. I was disappointed that the windows were dirty, what an amazing view that was distorted with dirty windows. The bed was just ok. We booked the room for 243,000 won and we were told that if we use the tooth brush and tooth paste the we would be charged, really? A four star hotel charging for a tooth brush? You really have to be crazy to charge 2,000 per toothbrush and 1,000 for toothpaste. I have stayed in 8 countries in Asia and all over South Korea and have never been changed for a tooth brush. Also they do not provide was washcloths for shower but offer a washcloth for charge?? What is this hotel thinking? Hotel Homers is in need of serious cleaning, the carpets are so filthy, stained and utterly gross! Even the parking garage has so much accumulated dirt and filth. Now let’s talk about the breakfast that I paid extra 20,000 for, it’s a joke! A very poor selection of very cheap bland food, the food in the warmers was cold. They offer coffee in a cheap paper cup! Is that what four star hotels do? I’ve never ever seen that before. And to top it all off—— clean your own table when your finished? 4 Star?? NO WAY!!!! Your location is amazing!! The hotel has so much potential, with some detail to cleanliness, offer the basics at no extra fees and upgrade the food service, they would deserve a four star rating. I could only give you 1 1/2 stars now and that’s due to location and view. Disappointed!!!

Grand hotel with excellent view of Gwangan Bridge”
Hotel Homers is located right at the front of Gwangan Beach, and thus has a great view of Gwangan Bridge if you get the beach view room. We are avid photographers and it was great having such a great shooting point in the comfort of our own room! The hotel itself is grand, and the room is spacious, well maintained and very classy. I loved this hotel, but there are two downsides. One - despite its grand appearance, this was one of the few hotels without its own wifi access. We had to go to the cafe next door in order to message our friends. The second con is the long walk from Gwangan Station to the beach and hotel. Taking a taxi would be much better with luggage. Overall, great hotel!

Outstanding hotel, lovely view”
This is an outstanding hotel. You can walk to inexpensive and excellent Korean and western food, coffee, shopping, etc. It's a 6-10 minute walk to the subway station. And you're literally across the street from the beach. I recommend paying the extra and getting an ocean-view room. The view of the bridge is to die for, and at night the quotes in English and Korean scrolling Star-Wars-style across the beach are fascinating to look at. You will find many cheaper options in Busan, but most of them are love motels with thin walls, noise, etc. Hotel Homers is classy and convenient to everything.

Hotel right beside the beautiful Gwanganli Beach”
My friend and I stayed at Hotel Homers for 2 nights. It was our first time in Busan and we wanted to stay somewhere near the beautiful beaches. Hotel Homers was right beside the famous Gwanganli Beach and we have a fantastic view of the Gwangan Bridge from the front entrance of the hotel for the two nights we stayed there. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest subway station - Gwangan station, which could be a little far. We did not manage to book a twin room with sea view as the rooms were fully booked. Our business city view room was spacious and clean. Only thing that did not meet our expectations was the wardrobe. The room does not have a wardrobe. There were just four hangers on the wall for us to hang up our clothes. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel even though if I were to stay in Hotel Homers again, I would like to try booking the room with sea view as I believe the view at night will definitely be fantastic:)

Beautiful room, excellent service”
i came to hotel homers with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. the room was large and beautiful with hardwood floors. everything was clean. the best part of the room was the huge window overlooking the ocean. to have a view like that for a reasonable price was a nice surprise. we didn't have many requests, except for extra towels, but that was dealt with promptly and politely. the restaurant in the hotel was way overpriced, but that's the only negative i can think of. great stay.

Great location with a stunning view!”
I live in Busan and was showing my parents around the city for a week. We stayed at the Homers Hotel as I knew the view would be fantastic, and the area is great for restaurants and nightlife. The room was very large and comfortable. The lighting was a bit poor and there was no wifi connection in the rooms. Other than that, a great stay. The lit up bridge at night is stunning and being able to walk along the beach, light fireworks, and barhop until bedtime is very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Regular visitors to Busan, first time Homers Hotel”
We stayed one night with our 6 months old boy. We used to stay at Toyoko-inn, but since we have a baby we decided to try a hotel with larger rooms. Hotel Homers was a good alternative to try, since the location at Gwangan-li beach is superb. Room was large but a bit outdated. There was no in-room internet and the external network (Olleh Wifi, 3 USD per 24hrs) was not strong enough for my cell phone to connect. My laptop could connect. There was no shampoo on the room. Bathroom was clean but again, a bit outdated. Staff is friendly and speaks sufficient English. Though we get around in Korean as well, I did not have to speak it with them. Hotel Homers would be considered an upscale local hotel, right at a bay with a massive suspension bridge which is beautifully lighted at night. However, we think that their rooms are slightly outdated and there maybe other options which are similar priced and better. For instance Riviera Hotel in Haeundae seems an equally affordable but better choice.

Amazing Views and Location”
Deluxe double, although sparsely furnished, has massive bed and full picture window looking onto the beach. Breakfast buffet better than adequate but room for improvement given the price if not included. Walking distance (10 min or less) from Gwangan metro. Excellent restaurants just outside the place and excellent location at the near the beginning of the beach front road. Taxi to Haeundae about 7,000 won or just a few stops on the subway. Friendly staff, sauna and gym 9,000 won each. Excellent cafe downstairs with open air beach front seating next to the road. Would return.

A basic room with a Billiant Beach View ”
hotel homers, is the most luxury hotel for my trip, i meant the price. once i arrived, i was surprise that "gwangalli eobang festival" was just held downstairs. & from my room, i was able to enjoy the whole scene of the festival. the night view is so adorable! i love it! this deluxe double is so spacey, but lack of in-house facilties. i couldn't believe the quality of those shower, it just don't fit into the room. and with the price i paid for the room, it is so pissed me off, while all shampoo/conditioner/tooth brush/tooth paste are priced individually inside the room !! overall, i do love the scene of gwangalli beach! enjoy those lively environment ! enjoy the cheerful street downstairs ! but, it do located abit far from metro ~~~ gosh ~~~ but, what about those few steps of stairscase in the entrance ? i hate that !! it made me drag my suitcases up and down !! price of rooms are really fiexable!! there is different prices listed in the hotel, at front desk, beside the main door !! interesting !!

Perfect location”
We enjoyed our stay immensely. They origanlly put us in a different room then I booked and immediately changed it. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I LOVED the location. Being able to watch the light show from our hotel window was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was great and I loved all the dining options surrounding the Hotel. If we make it back to Busan we will definitely boon this hotel again. Cons. The floors were dated but expected for hotel near the beach and hated the floor windows that opened (I have a 9 month old and stressed the whole time that he'd fall out).
