Really great hotel! Fantastic location for the city and airport, located close to two MRT stations. Clean and comfortable rooms, loved the industrial feel. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful! Loved my stay at Hotel Yan and would highly recommend!

Value for money boutique hotel”
Room was quite small but this was expected. Hence would only recommend for solo travelers. The bed was comfortable. The shower room was clean and the big overhead shower was a pleasant surprise. Location allows easy access to both airport and city center. Convenient!

Nice boutique hotel in a good location! ”
Staff is very helpful and nice :) Even though the size of the room is small but fine for me who travelled alone., they provided needful amenities in room, very good! Hotel is located in a good location, many restaurants and coffee shops around, nearest MRT is in the walking distance. All great!

Compact but they have everything need”
Room size is not that big but it has loft bed so you don’t really feel it is too tight. they have everything need shampoo, conditioner amenity kit and so on... Around the hotel has a lot of place to local food and cafe/bars. My favorite was Chuen seng Huat Hardware Cafe .it was pleasant stay there.

Great place near a food place after a long walk and want to go back to the hotel. Near the train station the downtown line (Bendemeer Stn). No money exchange near the area best to have it at the airport at a good deal.

Great hotel with very comfy sheets and beds. Shower is spacious, wifi is provided and great for streaming content. Vanity is adequate and towels are clean and fresh. Definitely recommend for a convenient and hassle free staycay. Cons: Room tv is lacking in quality, and the number of channels are limited to 4 (english news, chinese channel, malay channel and english channel).

Loft Room Stay”
Staying at Hotel Yan was a very pleasant experience. They were very accommodating to my late arrival as I didn't get to the hotel until 1 am. The loft room I had was very tight, but still functional. The only real issue I had with the room was that there was no convenient way to open up your luggage to get to your items. I would say this room is best suited for someone staying only one night rather than multiple nights so they don't need to get to all of their belongings. The bed itself was very comfortable and I felt quite safe even with the small railing preventing you from rolling off the loft. The ladder was a bit steep, but there were plenty of railings to hold on to to help you up and down. My sink didn't work, but I was able to use my shower. The rainfall shower was a bonus for the room. Location was great, with a mall being less than 10 minutes away with lots of food options that are suited to both Asian and Western preferences.

The receptionist is very nice and polite, whenever we walked in /out the lobby door, without pressing the button ourselves , the lady always acknowledged us and opened for us, this was really add point to this stay.

Compact Room”
This was my second time staying at Hotel Yan. What I like about it, is it's unique compact loft configuration in it's smaller room. The bed is accessible up a ladder and is super comfortable. Underneath it is a desk, mini fridge, desk chair and small sofa chair. The bathroom is also unique in that it is separated into two glass walled rooms. Shower in one and toilet in the other. The sink is outside across from them. The shower is pretty spacious considering and the rainfall shower a joy to use. During this visit the fire smoke from Sumatra was heavy in the air and the hotel did it's best to minimize the effect inside the hotel. They went around regularly spraying something to into the air to eliminate the smell. It's in a great location for those who want to be outside the busier parts of Singapore.

Staff were excellent. Once upgraded to a dcc- b'5v room, everything peeked for us. ”
The first room was far too small and noisy with noisy aircon, but once we got the larger room everything was fantastic. We were not happy at first that we got no refund for the other room (they rent it out straight away), but in the had to pay extra for the second room, but then we decided it was so perfect. Bed was super comfortable, shower and bathroom great too. Swimming pool, a great coffe shop and a lovely wine bar just 3 min away, easy access to bus and trains. Fantastic place! Recommendation: dont get a small room.

I have one guest that moment and told the front desk that guest will be coming about 6 pm. So when up back to room and hour ltr, guest appeared in front of the room door with a access card to the room. No calls where made to the room to verify with me pertening the guest. And access card was given out. What if I was not in the room and my guest is not actually my guest? I wud said, security plays a part here.
