Friendly helpful staff that can speak multiple languages. Always happy to help. Luggage room that can be freely used when checking in and out. Sky Spa is a must do, very nice views of Osaka while unwinding in a heated bath. Room we hired was twice the size of a similarly priced room in Shinjuku, was good to be able to open all our suitcases at once! Had a couch! Location is nice and close to Dontonbori and all associated shopping like Den Den and Shinsaibashi. Only thing that might be an issue is it's a 10 minute walk from the closest subway station (Shinsaibashi) and not near any JR stations for those using a pass (JR isn't the best option in Osaka anyway). When leaving we caught a taxi from the tank just half a block down to Tennoji station which only cost 1100 Yen. Would recommended this if not forwarding luggage when checking in and out. We were a group of 8 relatives who came to Japan and I was looking for a last minute hotel for us that was clean, has a good location and a price point that all our relatives could agree on. And Hotel WBF Hommachi gave us all that. They opened a slot here at Agoda a few days before we left for Japan. And we all thought it was the best decision that we made booking here. The hotel is located in the middle of Namba and Umeda and the Hommachi Station was just a block away from us. Their neighbourhood was nice, quiet and safe. The staff were all very accommodating, very helpful. The bathroom was quite small but we've already expected that. The room seems smaller just because the 2 single beds were pretty big for our rooms. Everything's very neat and clean there (which was one of our biggest requirement for a hotel) so everyone was very happy with that. Thank you to all the staff there especially to the 2 gentlemen at the front desk. They were truly very helpful.

So sorry for late submit in review. But wanna give a big thanks for everything. My Mom and my bro got allergy attack from another hotel. I moved them to Hotel Nikko. And Hotel Nikko staff are wonderful to give great help and even help to send them to hospital & help out in the translating part! Thanks again for great help for helping them out. And the room are so clean. They get better and recover a lot before they came back. Great food & Perfect service ! Best experience ! Will come back again! Great thanks.! They deserve 5 stars!

This hotel is the greatest for me so far. Although this hotel is located quite far from the train station around 5-10 minutes, this hotel near Shinsaibashisuji shopping arcade. If you're a shopaholic, it's the best place for you. The room size is quite big among so many room hotels in Japan. The bathroom is clean, and everything is clean. The staff is very nice, although some of them can't speak English very well. I'm sure i'll visit this hotel again if i come to Osaka

The hotel was very clean. The room is relatively larger than the usual hotel rooms in Japan. We got the connecting rooms and it really worked for us since we have more space to move around and we get to have 2 bathrooms! We also appreciate the free drinks in the afternoon till evening. There’s a place where we can eat our takeout food. Tha staff was very helpful. The location is the best, just walking distance to train stations , restaurants and shopping. We will definitely book this hotel again when we come back

Location is near the exit of Namba station. Just look for Exit 25, as stated from the website.once you exit, you should make a U turn. Go straight. You should see a Yoshinoya. Cross over to where it is. Go straight still. Make a left on the next intersection . Walk a few more and the hotel should be near. You should see the hotel sign. As a solo, backpacker,this was not on my list but I booked kinda late and the price is good enough for me. The staff were very accommodating. The place is modern enough as they are using key cards already. You cannot use the elevator without tapping the card. The room is quite small if you will bring a big or many luggages. But as I was carrying only 2 carry-on-sized baggages, they were ok. The too smelled nice. There was in-room AC control. Lights control was nice, you can control the lights for the room, the table with mirror, lights under the bed (for looking for items that might have fallen) and specially the lamp shade. Switches were lit up as well for easy navigation at night. The bed was comfy enough but there was 1 night I felt a was bitten by bed bugs but that was only a short time. There was a refrigerator small enough for storing drinks and probably a meal's worth of food, if you need to. There was a TV set, not sure if you can change the audio to English though. I didn't bother as I was mostly in the too for resting.There is VOD and you can buy tickets just outside the room. I got enough hangers and places to hand belts etc. The toilet seems really nice with all supplies you will need. Water temperature can also be controlled. There was a means to wash your butt after doing a bowel. You can leave your luggage at the front desk. You can checkout as well by just using a machine! I really loved my stay though I will still look for probably a backpacker accommodation since I will most likely go solo. But for couples, this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The very best feature with this hotel, is that all rooms are non-smoking so there are no risk of getting a stinky old, smokey room as can be the case in many hotels in Japan. Secondly, the location is great; walking distance to Namba and Shinsaibashi. Third; rooms are clean and has a nice interior design. Last; service is good: front desk staff speak good English, the restaurant has good food, and the massage parlor had good treatments. Lastly; the onsen spa is a fantastic way to relax after a long day of shopping and sightseing, and it is open all night. Internet wifi was working as expected. As for the free ramen that they served in the restaurant at night; it was a nice service, but you will find more complete (and tasty) ramen meals at any of the many ramen restaurants around town. If I should say something negative about the hotel, it might be that pillows are rock hard (but I got a softer one, so that was pretty great too) and there would be nice with at least one English news channel. All Japanese TV channels!

Though located at Shinsaibashi, this hotel is a bit away from the Eki. It takes around 10 min walking which is acceptable for such a high-standard hotel. I've been to more than 10 hotels in Japan and this is the BEST I've had. Having a fabulous and modern look from outside, its interior design is new and good too. Room is BIG comparing to the general standard of Japan, very big indeed in terms of this price. The room has a spectacular inside looking with everything newly equipped and decorated, especially this hotel has just 3 year-history. Being a business hotel the staff speaks quite fluent English which adds point to the hotel. If I go to Osaka again I MUST choose this hotel again. I strongly recommend this hotel to you all.

We were moved to the Annex building (just across the street) as our request for non-smoking couldn't be fulfilled in the main building. This wasn't a problem at all. In fact it meant we ended up with a larger room and a full double bed. Great location, close walking distance to Dotonbori river, restaurants, subway and shops. America-mura right outside the window - not that we thought much of it. Would definitely stay here again next visit to Osaka.

my husband and i really enjoyed our stay here. it was easy to find since it's just outside of the nagahoribashi subway station. there was a starbucks in the underground mall just a few minutes walk from the hotel--so that was a definite plus! this hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the dotombori shopping area and about 15 minutes from the namba and america-mura area. on the negative side: the rooms are really small. my husband and i barely fit on the bed together and our feet stuck over the edge. the tv had zero english options.

Ark Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi is the best hotel among 3 hotels i stayed during my 14 days trip to Osaka, Kyoto & Tokyo. The staff is super friendly, polite & helpful. One of the staff has tried her best & never give up to help us to book the Kaiseki meal at Kyoto even she is not so fluent English speaking, i and my family really appreciated for the kind assistance. They have fluent English speaking staff as well, so there is no worries for English communication. Excellent service & environment. The room is spacious if compare to others hotel i stayed. Room is clean & tidy, the blanket is super duper comfort & soft. The Nagohoribashi Station exit 3 & 4 is just located at left & right of the hotel with just 1 min walking. So you have 2 choices for station exit. Hotel is nearby dining area. Definitely will stay again for next visit to Osaka. Great hotel.

It is a small hotel, right in the heart of Amerikamura, a thriving neighbornhood of Osaka. Close to many bars, restaurants, Dotonbori area, Shinsaibashi and Namba station, you can enjoy the surroundings or go to Namba and take a train, the subway or go from there to Kansai airport. The hotel was superclean, the staff was very helpful and Internet was superfast in the room. And it wasn't very expensive for what you get. I totally recommend this hotel.

Check in was fast, staff spoke reasonably good English, rooms were of reasonable size. Bed and Air Conditioning was alright, all amenities like hair dryer, safe box, mini fridge were available. Video on demand were available for a fee. TV was Of the right size. Hot shower and long bath available. Linens and towels were clean. Smoking room were not at all smelly just that it was a bit stale at first but smell went off after a short time of turning on the AC. Had an air freshener located under the safe box to freshen up the air. There s a 7-&I convenience store adjacent to the hotel lobby which itself was spacious. Hotel was located on a busy street within 10 minutes walk from Namba station and the street was lined with Nightclubs and bars and seedy joints but nevertheless it was relatively safe at night. Lots of nightlife and restaurants and bars nearby due to being close to Dotombori. However the rate of four star is a little overrated because it has got no swimming pool nor a proper restaurant or gym or health spa to begin with. It's dining area Barkt has little choice of menu and does not qualify it as a four star in my opinion anyway.

LOCATION location location! great place to stay a stone's throw away from Dotonburi and shinsaibashi the whole place is vibrant and fun at night for me i enjoyed my stay here immensely. you can just walk out of the hotel and find lots of food choices! the staff were accommodating and when i asked for directions from the airport, they emailed back and gave us choices tip: kansai airport to here take the doton piston bus to doton plaza and its just a 5 min walk at most to the hotel. also make sure to get wireless wifi its super convenient and you will never get lost. plus download apps to help with the translation also make sure to bring enough cash. most of the restaurants we ate didnt accept credit card payments breakfast though for me was a downer. it was the same food everyday. mostly japanese cuisine i guess because mostly cater to local tourists? the view from the breakfast dining room was great be sure to arrive early to get the best spots.

Kudos for this Hotel for helping my family. Last day before we leave for Japan, we had an emergency in the middle of the night and rushed my mother to the hospital. They were fast, efficient and accommodating. We had a difficulty to communicate with the ambulance staff so one their hotel staff went with us and served as a translator to help us communicate. They were there to assist us regarding our needs such as rental of wifi, calling the embassy of the Philippines, and helped us find a near hotel within the location of the hospital. I cannot remember the names who helped us but I really wanted to thank them for their great efforts. I hope they will be rewarded by the owner of the hotel. I'm glad that I booked this place because they have everything that we needed, free massage chairs, unlimited ramen and free drinks every night, free rental of strollers and cribs, they also have different activities everyday at 15:00-16:00 such as rental of kimono, Japanese traditional games, and a lot more.

Honestly, this could be the best hotel I have ever tried. - The price of this hotel is cheap while I actually did not expect they can provide such good services. Its setup does not look like a hostel. This hotel is exceptionally good based on the price. - The staff, in fact, not excellent in English, but they can communicate in basic English that the check-in was efficient without any problem. - The room, a bit small, however, it is typical in Japan. You will see they paid effort on some details, for instance, they provide cables for charging your phone while not many hotels do this. - The WiFi is wonderful, ~5MB/s which is fast enough. - The bed, comfortable and big, no problem at all. - If you requested not to clean the room, they will put a bag contains all materials for you at the door of your room. - The breakfast, the food is not as many as I read the comment online, but at least it is good enough for breakfast. I'll come back again if I go to Osaka.

This hotel had recently opened so everything was still sparkly clean. I've never stayed at this chain before, but have stayed at many competitors such as APA and Mystays. And I gotta admit that this particular UNIZO location had the best facilities of them all. It could be due to the layout, but the room felt more spacious than expected, and there was no shortage of amenities readily available in room. I was ok with less or having to go to the front desk as is the case with other hotels. The keycard controlled elevators is a nice touch for security as the card determines which floors the elevator goes to and prevents wanderers. The staff was fantastic and very helpful explaining things to make sure the stay was enjoyable. The location is as good as it is going to get for the namba/shinsaibashi area with the street it is on being relatively quiet and close to the subway station. Definitely among the best value you can get in the area.

IMPORTANT: Go to exit 10 of Honmachi station instead of exit 12 if you come at WEEKDAYS. Exit 10 connects with Senba Shopping Building which is near to the hotel, opposite to exit 12, and with a LIFT, you will walk MUCH MUCH LESS staircases. But this doesn’t work if you come on Sundays and public holidays in Japan. I wouldn’t say the price of this hotel is good, but the equipment and the service are the best I’ve ever seen, and it’s new. The only thing you can complain is the check out time is a bit earlier (10am). I got a deal from Agoda so the price for me is reasonable. But still the hotel worths what it charges. It is near to the post office and convenient store, and easy to connect with Keihan and Hankyu Railway, if you plan to stay in Osaka while travelling to Kyoto, it is a good location.

The room rate is reasonable because it includes breakfast. The daily breakfast is also ok. The 7-11 convenience store is just beside the hotel, for other food options. The hotel is also beside a subway entry for the train. It is also about 600 to 800 meters to shinsaibashi-suji, a long stretch of shops where one could find H&M, uniqlo, sanrio, daiso, mcdonalds, etc.. The end of this stretch is the famous dotonbori where the popular Don Quijote and the Glico running man can be found. Some shops also offer different kitkat flavors and anello bags. Although the Anello building is just on the opposite side of the shinsaibashi-suji. Given the chance, I would still book at Sarasa. Plus, the staff are very polite and accommodating. Five stars for Sarasa Hotel Shinsaibashi!

what can i say, would definitely stay again. service 5*, facilities for me 5* (provide baby cot and baby bath tub for free, bjt please book ahead as they have limited cot) for my older kids (age 3 and 5) they loved the hotel, as the reception staff offer they with candy treats....so my children love / looking forward seeing the counter staff every morning... in room facilities are clean, space is very reasonable (i wont say large/ spacious) but definitely good enough. also the staff are very friendly like one night we wanted to microwave something, they were very friendly and welcome to help! also they helped to look up and book up restaurant for us (we were a group of 11) they also have free and good coffee offered ...also laundry service with free washing powder... well so what more i can expect...definitely thumbs up!!! location wise...u are next to some of the best noodles and hotpot restaurants..and only few minutes away from the busiest street in town...

The hotel is situated really well. It’s clean, easily accessible and great bathroom bed is comfortable. The best part was the staff there. They were incredibly helpful. Some of the best service I’ve seen of any hotel in my travels. We needed to get to the station to make a flight and they got us a taxi that could fit my snowboard bag and made sure the driver knew where to take us. It made our final day in Japan very easy. Thank you for your help to the staff!

first of all, the hotel is wonderfully located. it is nice and close to everything and yet on a side street so noise isn't an issue. everything is within easy walking distance; a main subway station with lift access for travelers like myself who have huge bags, a well stocked 7/11 with lots of ukon no chikara and, of course, dotonbori. all hotel staff that i met were pleasant and kind and spoke at least a little english. the clerk checking me in on the first night was pretty much fluent. the rooms were surprisingly large, huge by japanese standards. it was also a nice touch that they were all non-smoking, yet they had little smoking couches on each floor. all in all, one of the best hotels i have stayed in.

The location is very convenient. Right in the middle of the shopping and eating area. The room is indeed small but I already expected it and it's totally worth the price. There was a little incident on the second last day of my last stay. My nose bled for almost an hour at midnight, which gave me no choice but to ask the front office for help. There were really helpful, calling different hospitals for me. Sincere thanks to Mr. Yusuke Kashiba, he accompanied me to the hospital and calmed my nerves. I was told to go for another check the next morning and Mr. Kashiba printed out a list of clinics for my reference. This is really considerate! Despite the language barrier, we had a good chat and thanks once again of your genuine care during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Great hotel facilities - nice room, aircon, bath room. Yes, it is small, but the place is really elegant. Excellent location with 7-11, Mo's Burger, and a Chinese resto nearby. A few minutes walk, you can even reach a McDonald's and Burger King. It is indeed strategically located at the Shinsaibahi area, which is also quite near Namba/Dotonbori. Staff is very helpful, even providing us with maps and coupons that we can use during our stay. They also speak average English, enough to understand our questions. One minor drawback is the lack of ramp at the entrance, making it a bit difficult to carry heavy luggages. Although, this is just a tiny detail, as those are just a few steps up. All in all, we had an excellent stay and we will definitely book Hotel MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi again once we got a chance to be back in Osaka.
