"We were blown away by this hotel. Walking into the magnificent lobby in our casual sight-seeing clothes we actually felt a little underdressed. Perhaps the excellent rate for which we booked the room through Agoda allowed us to stay somewhere a little more classy than we would otherwise - as make no mistake this is a classy hotel. We were immediately surrounded by helpful staff offering to take our luggage and assist us with checking in. Much to our surprise some very petite young women were employed as porters and I felt quite guilty as our porter struggled to get our pieces of luggage on and off the baggage cart - I couldn't help but assist her with them. Once we got to our room the best feature became clear with a commanding view of Osaka-jo Castle and Osaka-jo-koen park - which only got better as the sun set and the castle was lit up. This happened to be our last night on a 3 week Japan holiday and we couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay."

"Very easy to go to Major attractions by JR and Subway, all within half hour. The breakfast is very nice with good mix of Japanese and western food. Make sure your booking includes breakfast or you have to pay US$10 for it. Good size of room and nice bathroom. The hotel is in the shopping mall so the basement is supermarket with cooked food court. There are around 15 restaurants in the mall including Starbucks and Kentucky fired chicken if you don't like Japanese food. Traveling out to Kyoto is easy to connect from Osaka station which is only 10 min from Kyobashi station through JR. We bought ICOCA card from the JR station in the airport and it is much easier then buying tickets for each journey. It is good location to travel around the town and you can push luggage to the train station platform within 3-5 minutes and all indoor walk. JR run direct line from airport to Kyobashi station and takes around 70 min. If you transfer will be quicker but We just don't want the trouble to change train with luggages. There are streets with Japanese restaurants outside the train station but we prefer to eat in the shopping mall as it is easy to order food from the window display given that we can't read Japanese. Hotel room has good speed of free WiFi connection and all the toiletry are supplied including tooth brush and pastes. The cleaner changes everything daily even the disposable sleepers and pyjamas. We stay at smoking when I book the room but I can't smell any thing in the whole hotel. I guess Japanese don't smoke that much at all. For my 4 stays in Japan I have not see anyone smoke at all. I only see Smoke room in the airport. "

"Managed to get a great deal on this hotel stay for my vacation. It's a wonderful upscale hotel that's very near central Osaka, with easy access to Kyobashi station (via a ~5 minute walk on the Osaka Business Park promenade) for getting around. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful; they helped me figure out the best way to get to Tokyo and back on the bullet train, assisted me with shipping my suitcase to Narita for my return trip, and provided advice regarding how to navigate the Japanese postal system. They were very responsive when I had issues (light bulb burnt out in the bathroom and it was fixed the same day). Unfortunately, I never ate at any of the on-site restaurants (it's just so easy to eat cheaply elsewhere!), so I can't comment on their breakfast buffet or room service. The rooms may be considered small by "Western" standards, but I found it to be perfectly sized for me (I was traveling solo) and furnished nicely. The bathroom was particularly nice! All-in-all, a great place to stay if you can get a good deal on a room."

"I stayed in a superior room, which cost $200 a night. So to start off - yeah, this hotel has some pretty cool features in it. It isn't often that you get to have a pool in your own room, let alone having a room that is that size in Osaka is rare. There are saunas in each superior room, big bathtubs with TV's, big beds, big TV's, plenty of space, adjustable mood lighting and music, and quality bathrooms. Some of the rooms look pretty cool as well, but you start to realize a few things as you look closer. You can tell that the hot is pretty old. Yeah, sure, it's had a facelift sometime in the past. But, all the changes are just at the surface. They take pictures that make rooms look larger, there are no glasses of wine waiting for you as a welcome drink, the TV order in menu is non-existent or "sold out", there was a shower built into the wall in our room that said "don't use, decoration only", the sauna didn't work or wasn't hot. It looked cool on the surface, but that's it."
