Friendly staff, very comfortable, central and well priced (off season at 50%). However, the bathroom wasn't clean enough. There was a big dry yellow drop on the toilet seat, and the shower floor could have been cleaner. The fridge was very noisy, so I unplugged it. The lobby had this artificial perfume that is often found in hotels and should be banned, because it's poison. This trend must stop, but it's not a specific complaint to this hotel. Otherwise all was excellent.

The location of the hotel is amazing, you are close to almost everything. There is a little issue with the management, I was not fully happy during my stay as they could not understand my needs. Muhanad and Mohammed were the best in the front desk with beautiful English language and communication skills. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to any solo, family or couple travellers looking for good hotel near everything with a little bit of noise outside.

Clean hotel, friendly staff , located in the heart of Jerusalem ”
Location is absolutely wonderful . You reach the hotel from Ben Gurion Airport best by train till Jerusalem and take then the light rail to city center and get off two stations after Mahane Jehuda Market and it will be on the left hand. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Please note that on Thursday and Saturday evening it can become extremely loud. Try to get a room away from the bars . The breakfast is absolutely amazing and rich . If you are traveling from outside , exchange your money on Jaffa street at Yitzchak which is 200 m away from the hotel in direction of Jaffa‘s Gate. Never exchange money at Arabs store as they will cheat you. Best Shawarma you will find in the Jewish district , best pizza in Mahane Jehuda Market.

Room is basic as expected from ibis but clean and served my needs , location its in my opinion the only positive about this place, breakfast is ok , but staff are so unfriendly with no exceptions, no one greets you or even notice that you pass by , the only time i was about to ask an information, i quit and upset to approach an receptionist that is laid back in a chair watching something on his phone and with me staring and waiting, he was not able to stop whatever he was foing , unbelievable

Very minimalistic hotel”
The maintenance is nice and it all looks new but other than that it feels very minimalistic in all aspects. 1. The room is very small 2. Only 2 elevators for 7 floors and only one really work on Saturday. 3. Poor towels quality 4. There was no conditioner& shampoo 5. No parking - the guest need to pay for this service (to the city or a private service)

The only good thing i can say about this hotel is the fantastic restaurant and restaurant staff that went out of their way to accommodate all. Thank you to them. The reception staff i rather do not want to comment on in my opinion very poor. We asked for breakfast parcels and they could not even get that right. It is so sad to say that they hotels relay on its locations and the fact that it is the Holy land and do not care about cleanness and customer care.

I paid pretty good money for this but was greeted by a dirty hotel room with super bad sound proofing. The room was also very small and sub designed. The only saving grace was its prime location.

Great location, very clean and simple room”
Jerusalem is NOT a cheap city, so this hotel is reasonable for its standard. It is NOT as cheap as comparable Ibis hotels in other big cities. The breakfast is quite varied and a little different each day which is appreciated. The hotel WiFi is reasonable. The staff are lovely and accommodating. Check out time is 11am and don't even think to ask for late check out (even if ou are an Accor member) because the place is FULL all the time. Location is great, just off Jaffa Street with a lot of food options nearby. The walk to the Old City is about 10-15 minutes. The tram line connects directly to the Central Bus Station (very convenient). They have a very nice (but short) happy hour daily. I would stay again in the future most definitely.

The Ibis Jerusalem is a relatively new hotel in the heart of Jerusalem. We picked this location due to previous experiences with the Ibis brand in other countries. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, with decent value for money, but some serious areas for improvement. Pros: - Location, convenient to get to the Old City, within easy walking distance of light rail system. - Price was relatively cheaper compared to others in the area - Free happy hour & breakfast was a nice touch - Some staff members were very friendly (buffet staff, happy hour staff) - Clean Cons: - Room fluctuated between freezing cold and boiling hot, hotel is on a strange system where you can only pick one between heating and cooling. When asking the front desk on how I could cool down the room, I received a sarcastic response that I could open the window. The next day, I returned to find the room at a freezing temperature, and I caught a cold afterward. - Inexperienced front desk

Very close to old city of Jerusalem Jaffa Gate within 10mins walk. They also have happy hours of free drinks at the lobby bar between 6-7pm. WiFi is a bit slow but never drop signal which is good. Staff are friendly but can be bias towards non-Jews guest by insisting 3pm check in while the Jews can check in earlier like 2:30pm. Double standard. Also when I request for high floor they lied there’s no room for twins bed at higher level. But when we found out the toilet sink lever is not working they managed to find a higher floor twins bed room very quickly. Very “efficient” indeed!

Loved the location of this hotel. There were restaurants and conveneient stores within walking distance. We even walked to Mamilla Hotel and The Old City. The breakfast spread was pretty good. The staff were very courteous and attentive. It was also pretty clean. I would definitely stay here again.
