Perfect Location and Value for Money”
I got the deal with free breakfast. Restaurant is located on the ground floor. Less vegetarian option available but it is handy as it can save your time in the morning as you can have bf as per your convenience. Location is perfect. Mustafa Centre is just 5 mins walk away and Little India is only 700 metres away. Lots of Indian and other food restaurant options are also available at nearby areas. Two MRT stations of different lines are also within walking distance. The Room size was a bit compact but it is of worth if you need it only for night stay. They have provided 2 water bottles of 500 ml daily. All other facilities were also up to mark as per 3 star hotel standards. We reached early in the morning and they charged SGD 40 for 4 hours as our check in time was 2 pm. They also have provided the option to put the luggage in their luggage room free of cost but as we did not want to waste our day and wanted to refresh before exploring Singapore therefore we paid for it and it was worth it as we saved lots of time. Our flight was in the night time and the check out was at 12 pm and they allowed us to put the luggage free of cost and we explored more shops nearby Mustafa Centre on the last day. Staff was also very supportive and they have accommodated all our requests professionally.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends! The location is good as there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. There are also 2 MRT stations (Lavender of EastWest Line & Jalan Besar of Downtown Line) few blocks from the hotel. There are several bus stations as well. There’s a small park in front of the hotel which is really nice. It’s a quiet and clean place. The hotel is clean, they do housekeeping everyday and change towels too. The room size is ok too, not too big nor small. The only con I see is lack of shower curtain in the bathroom as water gets into the toilet area from the shower and it gets a bit slippery but they clean every morning so I think it’s not a big problem. Basic toiletries are provided like shampoos, body & hand soaps, and tissues. My friend and I loved the breakfast! It’s open until 9:30. The food is really delicious but be careful if you do not like spicy as the sandwiches & noodles are mild spicy which are perfect for us because we love spicy foods. Maybe you can just request to lessen it when you order. They have other food to choose from to anyway. All appliances are working perfectly like the tv, small fridge, hair drier, there’s even a small vault for important belongings. They also have a storage room for luggage when you arrive early to check-in or after you check-out. My friend and I checked-out at 12 and left our things and picked them up at 9PM, you can use their toilet/washroom at the lobby too. The staff are nice too especially the lady at the reception. I forgot to ask her name but she really is very welcoming and helpful. You can find cheaper hotels but you'll compromise cleanliness and service and J8 is free breakfast so it's almost the same. So I would definitely choose this hotel when I go back to Singapore.

Best stay in SG so far! ”
We stayed here for 6 nights. Right off the bat the receptionists are very very nice and the place is clean and well-maintained. We had no problems with the room, everything is perfect for our stay. The breakfast options are yummy too! They also let us check out late when I requested. Will definitely stay here again when we visit SG again ☺️

Very impressed with this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly, breakfasts were really good, and location handy for the mrt to centre. We were there for 4 nights and cannot fault it at all. Good value hotel and I would definately stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff was very helpful to us. All the facilities mentioned in the booking were provided. For Indians, breakfast maybe a bit of a problem. But there is a ABC cafe right infront of the hotel where you get good indian food. While booking through agoda and selecting book later option, do keep in mind of agoda's exchange rates as they are very high compared to market rate.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations. Value for money is good. Not that expensive but the room that I got is very clean especially the washroom. Staffs are very polite and courteous. There’s a lot of shops and food stalls nearby even late at night. Bus stop and MRT are nearby as well. Definitely recommended hotel for all types of travelers.

Full marks for the stay at this hotel. The hotel is clean, facilities are new, staff are polite and the location is couple of mins to the city center. At night the hotel is quiet and serene for a pleasant sleep. It also value add with complimentary breakfast. Right below the hotel also features a vietnamese restaurant that serve excellent banh mi. Very satisfying stay!”
I felt very comfortable during my 3-night stay here unexpectedly. The housekeeping service is good and the room design is satisfying for a solo traveller like me. I would consider coming back to this hotel for my next stay. Regarding the location of hotel, I personally find that it is more convenient if we walk to Lavender MRT station instead of Jalan Besar MRT station. It is also easier to transit to other places via East West Line (Green Line) where the Lavender MRT station is located.

I really loved our stay here in J8 Hotel. As travelling with family with an infant, they make it sure that they clean the rooms every 2pm. They always changed the towels and give 2 bottles of water per day. The girl receptionist is very accommodating and friendly to us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. What I love is the free breakfast, so I won't have any trouble where to buy my food early in the morning as a first-time solo traveler. The staff I asked to replenish my amenities is so nice and got me tons of bathroom tissues and bottled water! I'd love to stay there again :)

Value for money. I simply adore the Attic room with balcony where smoking is allowed. I am a smoker so that is a plus plus point! And places to eat are everywhere - Indian, Chinese & Vietnamese food! I highly recommend this hotel.
