Beautiful place, beautiful people ”
We stayed in one of the glamping tents. Thought it was fantastic money-value! Felt really luxurious with a very comfy bed & comfy pillows, spacious, nice private semi-outdoor bathroom. Oil, the manager is absolutely fantastic! she welcomed us very warmly and gave us lots of information about the island, introduced us to some other guests to break the ice, made sure every day & every time that she saw us that we had everything we needed. We rented a scooter from kama siri for 300 baht per day, without a scooter one would be a bit stuck there. Breakfast (extra cost) was a highlight. Sad they didn't offer lunch or dinner, but Oil recommended plenty of good restaurants on the island. we really felt like we have found a home away from home at kama siri. and koh kood is a beautiful laid back island!

Perfect place to get away in the forest”
The owners of this guesthouse are fantastic hosts. They are very nice and accommodating. They can advise you on where to go based on your interests. If you want to be in the middle of the forest, surrounded by trees and greenery, this is the place for you. If you want to be on the beach, this is not the place for you. I didn't want to be on the beach, and I like being surrounded by nature, so this was perfect. They rent motor bikes or 250 baht per day. If I return to Koh Kood I will definitely stay here again, provided a room is available - they say that they are booked up during high season.

Nice house. But the most important is the sweetness of ohma. She will help and assist with everything. Really quiet location easy to reach with motorbike wich you can rent at Kama Siri. I definitely recommended this place.

Family place ”
In Kama Siri I had the best sleep I had for a long time in a hostel. Staff/managment is doing almost everything to make it a wonderful stay. Internet speed was fair. Make sure to book scooter to get around.

Owner very attentive - beware for extra charges”
The owner was sooo lovely and really made you feel at home. Although the hotel is not right next to the beach, it's not a problem at all because all the beaches are public and easily accessible by motorbike anyway. The only negative comment I have is that we were surprised with a 200 baht charge at the end for a pick up service that we never asked for and we tried to avoid by renting motorbikes at the pier. The price for motorbike rental wasn't disclosed either and we could have found others for much cheaper on the island. The owner should ask guests if they require this service before imposing it on them and be more forward about the charges. Overall a great stay, we were just disappointed by this at the end.

You feel at home!”
First of all: the staff (one woman) is as kind and helpful as it will ever get! Locationwise you will need a motirbike (which is always available for 300THB/day at the guesthouse and that is the price you pay everywhere on the island) but you get a nice remote jungle location which is a 12 min bike ride away from Khlong Chao Beach and about 3-5 min away from some restaurants and the shop + ATM. WiFi is working pretty good, although you shouldnt expect videostreaming to work. For messaging, mails and low-res youtube its fine. The interior design of the room (AC-room) is very questionable but apart from that there is not one single bad thing to say from our perspective. Stay here if you are looking for a great value for money guesthouse where you can feel at home and if you are ok riding the motorbike!

Tranquil and friendly”
The family room was part of the main house, clean and everything I would expect for the budget price. Staff were great, particularly Mrs Oil - always friendly and helpful, speaking good English, and rightly proud of the property and island. Not recommended for those who aren’t comfortable riding a scooter - it is essential to rent one if you are staying here.

Wonderful stay”
A fantastic stay with a fantastic host. We booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 5, only wished it could of been longer. You will feel as if you have known Jan for years within 15 minutes. Secluded location but well maintained scooters are available for reasonable prices. Amazingly comfy beds and make sure you ask Jan for a sea food BBQ one night. So good.

Wonderful place with a wonderful host”
I stayed here my first night on the island and it was perfect. I especially want to thank the owner for her helpfulness during my stay. I was moving around almost each night (last minute trip during high season so had a mix of bookings based on which place had availability). I rented a motorbike from her and she was super helpful and flexible in allowing me to rent it for my whole stay with my departure up in the air and best, picked it up at the last place I stayed so I didn’t have to worry about returning it and getting back to my final hotel before leaving. I would have stayed here the whole time if they’d had availablility. Highly recommended.

We had the best stay of our trip here. Our 10 month old son just fell in love with the place and the housekeepers. We had a big comfortable Tent. Mosquitoes situation was fine. Best breakfast for reasonable price and a really nice cooking class. Thank you really much for the stay

Very good stay at this home, we were met very warmly, everything was perfect, rooms are good, location too. The owner was extremly nice and helpful, told us what to see, where to go, showed everything on the map. At first we didnt plan visitiningi things that we ended up visiting and it was amazing. Friendliest staff ever! Would recommend to everyone!

Incredible stay at glamping tent”
I stayed at KamaSiri for 5 days, and it was an amazing experience. The host and her assistant were so nice and helpful and make you feel like family. I stayed in one of their new glamping tents, and I was surprised at how clean it was. It even has an attached private bathroom. The Thai breakfast was incredible too. And they will provide a bottle of water every day which is really helpful. You will need to rent one of their motorbike to get around the island. It is very easy to ride on the island since there's not much traffic and only one main road. The guesthouse is a quick 5 mins ride from one of the many beaches on the island.

The girl who worked at the Guesthouse was really great, she cooked my a great vegetarian breakfast in the morning, tried to teach me how to ride a scooter and gave me advice and helped me a lot, the WiFi was good, the room was also good.

Friendly. Helpful (female manager made several phone calls for me). Very good food. Scooter rental (250 THB per day). English is spoken. They gave me 2 maps of Koh Kood. Very far from everything. You have to rent a scooter. Smell in the shared bathroom. Very warm at night without air conditioning, difficult to sleep. Last night a small animal made a lot of noise a few meters away from my room. 800 THB for a room with a fan and shared bathroom is a lot of money (breakfast 150 THB extra). Near the beautiful Klong Chao beach you get a quiet and beautiful bungalow with air conditioning, private bathroom, fan, double bed, very good buffet breakfast (all you can eat), canoes for free, wifi for 1000 THB per day. I had looked at all the accommodations there and reserved a bungalow in the best guest house.

homey ambience”
we had a minor language problem upon arrival but immediately solve by the owner thou the breakfast was not properly explained as when the arrival day we understood that the offered breakfast was all inclusive (we just know that we have to pay for extra when we're about to check out). Location is a bit far from the main road (nobody told us that there's a shorter way to go to the main road if we take the left turn instead of right from the entrance gate of the homestay). Overall, it was still a good stay.
