“Great Location & Reception, but Housekeeping Needs Improvement”
The hotel has an amazing location, and the reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay—thank you for your excellent service! Unfortunately, the housekeeping and cleanliness standards fell short of expectations. The room had a persistent musty smell, likely from the old carpet, which made it less comfortable. Additionally, the housekeeping staff left their cleaning supplies in the hallway overnight, which was inconvenient. Towels were not replaced even when left aside for changing, which was disappointing. With some attention to these issues, this hotel could be outstanding. I hope management takes feedback seriously to improve the guest experience.

“Θα ξαναέμενα εδώ. Προτείνεται!”
Περιοχή με πολλά ξενοδοχεία, σε κεντρικό σημείο. Βρίσκεται δίπλα στο Abu Dhabi Mall(5' με τα πόδια). Πολλά καταστήματα στην περιοχή. Πολύ κοντά σε στάσεις λεωφορείων Νο11 και Νο63. Επίσης περνά το ΔΩΡΕΑΝ ΛΕΩΦΟΡΕΙΟ του Abu Dhabi για το αεροδρόμιο. Πολύ κοντά επίσης σε σταθμό λεωφορείων. Η ομάδα καθαριότητας κάνει πολύ καλή δουλειά. Τα νερά στο δωμάτιο, ο καφές κ το τσάι, επίσης σημαντικά ια τους επισκέπτες. Καλό wi-fi. Ευχαριστώ την Thaing και τον Bilal στην ρεσεψιόν για την υπομονή τους κι ευχαριστώ πολύ τον νεαρό στην ρεσεψιόν στι ς 6/5/25, ο οποίος απάντησε σε όλες τις ερωτήσεις μου και κάλεσε ταξί για εμένα (δεν θυμάμαι το όνομά του, όμως θυμάμαι την ευγένεια και το χαμόγελό του). Τέλος το πρωινό ήταν καλό. Είχε λίγες ευρωπαικές γεύσεις,(ψωμί, γαλοπούλα, τυρί, γάλα, φρούτα, καφές, κεικ) θα ήθελα περισσότερα. Επίσης ενώ είχε κρουασάν, που ήταν καλό, δυστυχώς δεν τρώγονταν. Είχαν ψηθει πολύ νωρίς . Να πω εδώ προς τον μάγειρα ότι τα κρουασάν ψήνονται και καταναλώνονται εντός 1 ώρας. Ας το προσέξουν στο μέλλον. Είχε πολλά ινδικά φαγητά που ήταν αδύνατον να τα φάω το πρωι!). Ομως ήταν μία εξαιρετική επιλογή ξενοδοχείου. Συστήνεται σε όλους.

“Ticks all the boxes..”
If you're looking for an affordable place in Abu Dhabi, this is worth a try. Close proximity to shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues make this ideal for short stays. Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and in house restaurant serves a decent buffet breakfast. Will definitely be back.

My family's recent 2-day stay at Kingsgate Hotel Abu Dhabi, offered a mixed bag of experiences, leading me to rate it a 3.5 out of 5. The hotel's prime location was its standout feature, providing easy access to local attractions, which was highly convenient for our family. The staff also deserves commendation for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing positively to our overall experience. However, the hotel's amenities and facilities left room for improvement. The must have amenities such as pool and fitness center are missing. These areas did not meet our expectations for leisure and recreation. Furthermore, our room, though clean, felt outdated. The decor and furniture appeared tired, and the beds lacked the comfort we anticipated, impacting our sleep quality. Dining at the hotel was an average experience. The limited menu and inconsistent quality of food were drawbacks. An expansion of the menu and a focus on improving food quality could greatly enhance the dining experience for guests. In conclusion, our stay at Kingsgate Abu Dhabi was satisfactory but not without its flaws. The hotel benefits from a great location and friendly staff but needs to invest in updating its amenities such as , pool, gym, rooms, and dining options to truly elevate the guest experience. Should these improvements be made, we would consider returning in the future, hopeful for a more consistently positive experience.

“Great location and staff”
I almost didn't consider Kingsgate due to a previous review which stated that the hotel was not clean! Then I decided to see myself and it was pretty clean Thumbs up: * Location: in the middle of the city, everything is near by, taxis, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, masjid, ... you name it * Staff: very helpful and attentive; housekeeping was good 👍 and Muneer from the kitchen is a jolly fellow * Smooth check-in by Owais and seamless check-out by Sanjay, no delays no issues. Thumbs down: - facility doesn't have it's own parkings BUT public parkings are plenty, stayed for 10 nights, never had an issue finding a parking - maybe it's time to change the carpet, not too dirty or something but some spots here and there - might need to bring your own iron shall you need one, I asked for one but none was available Overall, highly recommended
