Its a lovely quiet beach and we love this resort very much. Its ideal for us as its right on the beach, food is good, kayaks available and staff very friendly. The rooms are big and everything is provided in the room. Its not a bling bling but its the best for us and we will always stay here.

This resort is very nice on the beautiful long shallow beach.”
It is locate on the white sand beach. You can swim, kayaking, taking pictures, walk one on the beach and enjoy the sound of little waves as much as you want. The rooms are surrounded by well kept green garden. Worth for the price we pay. There is a restaurant and motorbike for rent service at the lobby.

Beach was perfect for young kids, crystal clear water and gentle slope into the water, free kayaks and friendly staff. The only downside would be that the cabin walls are paper thin so you hear anyone snoring in the next room. Perfect sunsets, very laid back and a couple of other choices for restaurants walking distance away along the beach.

Great location, great staff. The rooms are fully equipped. The beach is amaaazing and never crowded. The garden is gorgeous. But...it's a pity the walls between rooms are not sound-proof at all. You literally feel like sharing your room with your snoring neighbor...not the best context for couples escape.

Our stay at Ao Prao Beach”
This facility is clean but all the amenities are very old, it could really do with a renovation. The beach and surrounding areas are great, and kayaking around the bay and up the small river at the side of the bay is really great. It takes a bit of travel to get here from the beach and it is quite a drive to go anywhere else. Recommended for one night or two nights at the most. Breakfast was a fixed affair and the food rather oily. But we loved the beach chairs and view across the bay

We enjoyed our stay at Ao Pharos. We were a little frustrated by lack of information on the website and in person. It took two days to understand how meals worked and how the bar worked. A great bar tender made the beach fun.

Paradise beach, friendly staff, the perfect resort for people who seek quite and peace”
Kho Kood is the most beautiful island in Thailand, far away from parties and mass tourism. Ao Phrao beach is beautiful with crystal clear water, few people and a clean sandy beach. The resort is great with friendly staff, good food, clean bungalows and a natural and neat garden. We will definately come back!

Great place at he best beach in Koh Kut”
Really nice resort, good restaurant, excellent bar (on the beach). Located at he best beach in Koh Kut (possibly the best in south east Thailand). Only caveat was the breakfast - would be great if the resort would be able to up it a bit as it was very basic. We would love to return back to this place as it really is a paradise :)

Beautiful beach area and pleasant overall”
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this resort to others. The beaches a hundred meters from the resort are the biggest draw. There's a long stretch of beautiful beach. The free kayaks with life jackets also make the stay a good experience. Rooms are basic with mattress on floor, but comfortable. However, one drawback was that management allowed karaoke singing at loud volume until after 10 pm. Electricity cut out and went on/off frequently starting at 6:00 am on one of the mornings of our stay making it hard to sleep after that. Finally, management charged high price (800 Baht) for truck back to main port and didn't make it clear in advance so it came as a surprise since the cost from the main port was 500 Baht after catching a ride with a bus. The distance from the main port is a drawback, if traveling by land from the main port it takes an hour. Ao Prao should have more speedboats as an option.

Wonderful”
Great resort on a superb island. The resort is very well maintained but still keeps the relaxed vibe that you want to feel during your holiday. The staff is helpful and very attentive to all the little things that need to be done (like cleaning, maintenance, service). The food in the restaurant is also good, some of the dishes even outstanding. There's lots of space and the grounds are well maintained. The beach is also perfect, quite big but not busy with too many people. Well done to the management and the staff for the high standards and the chill out atmosphere. I'll gladly return.

Perfect location to get away from the chaos!”
Pros: 1.) Peaceful and beautiful beach with facilities provided. 2.) Staffs are friendly and helpful. 3.) Good environment and not so busy even though the resort are fully booked. 4.) The room was quite clean. Cons: 1.) As typical Thai family, we are not very impressed with the food. Not spicy enough and too salty for some dish. Few choices for breakfast. They have free kayaks and paddle boards for rent (thb150/hr). Also the taxi service and motorbike for rent if you wish to travel around the island. Around 1 hr away from the ferry pier.

the perfect beach ”
The beach is what can generally be considered the perfect beach, with white fine sand, calm clean water, and framed by coconut palm trees. The resort in general is pretty and well maintained; the old beach huts are somewhat sub-standard, but the newer bungalows are nice and well worth the upgrade. The staff are really nice and friendly - and one would hope that they stay like that even with a full resort (as we were there in very low-occupancy pre-season). Excellent food at unbelievably reasonable prices for a resort, especially considering there is absolutely no alternative to eatimg in the resort.
