Krabi Town hotels & places to stay

This hotel is my 1st choice in Krabi town. I lived 1 and a half days to have a good rest before my flight and visit weekend market easily. About 10 mins to weekend street, there are lots of good foods and hand made things you can find. About 15 mins to airport when I left on 9 PM. The price is really good. I got a corner suite which is very clean. A small pool can fulfill child. About the pool, the good thing is half pool in the building's shadow all the time. The bad thing is the water too cold as it doesn't get enough sun light. I checked few hotels and concluded seabass is best of Krabi town.

We spent just 2 nights at the U Residence in Krabi Town. It's a small boutique hotel but in a great location in Krabi town. The room is small, but big enough to put your bags down and still be able to move. The room is super clean, air conditioned, bed comfy - much better than we were expecting for the price. Therefore it's great value. We didn't try the food in the hotel because directly across the road and down a bit are the street markets and their food is pretty unbeatable! If you're looking for a tour the boatmen hang around the hotel and will give you heaps of info. If you're driving be aware there's only street parking and to get a spot out the front means moving your car late at night. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in Krabi Town. PS check out the price list for the room's amenities - you can buy anything in the room and I mean anything - the toilet door, the curtains etc hahahaha

Every time my family and I travel, one of my checklist is to stay at a classy and beautiful hotel just to get the "first time never forget experience". There are few good hotels in Krabi but the needs for halal meals and a shorter distance from airport made me choose this hotel. A bit far from Ao Nang (shopping heaven for street market) but there's no regret for us as it offers privacy and the seafood restaurant across the hotel is marvellous (felt like ordering everything in the menu). The hotel provides shuttle bus to Krabi Town and we can still buy many stuffs there especially at the nite market on Friday night. Our 4 days and 3 nights stay was a satisfaction because after a whole day package for jungle tracking and elephant ride etc on our 2nd day and island hopping on the 3rd day, we do need to go back at a peaceful, relaxing hotel for a good rest. Should add and extra 1 day for free and easy so that we can spend another 1 whole day shopping at Ao Nang too. Then the trip will be completed. Other than that, the staffs do play an important role to make our stay a memorable moment. We thank them for that.

Location is a walk to riverside food market. The elevator is always in good order. The roof top bar is no longer in operation, which I was sad about. However the professional, friendly staff at this resort take care of your stay. We had a 6.30am flight. Staff, as usual, arranged my airport transfer in a professional and timely manner. Given I once missed a flight when booked at an Ao Nang hotel charging 3 times as much a night...the taxi was "late" the level of service Dee Andaman offers is highly valued. I will continue to book Dee Andaman in the future as well as recommend it to people looking for good value and service in Krabi Town

Everything was as you would expect, the room was of a good size, clean and comfortable, a good stop off hotel when travelling, if you are looking for a lively bustling town this is not for you, would reccomend ao nang but for 1 or possibly 2 nights krabi town does offer many places to eat,good market and shopping with some nice bars to relax in. Staff are very friendly and will assist you with tours and onward travel reservations,there are cheaper hotels in Krabi but would reccomend this one, hope this review helps as not all hotels descriptions are true to form but this is a hotel is what it says it is.....Happy travelling.

We arrived in Krabi Town by bus. The hotel was about 500 meters from the bus station. Unfortunately we didn't have a river view room however our room was spacious and clean and the beds more comfortable than a lot we experienced in Thailand.. The shower was a bit fiddly to operate. Room security was good. My son and I had a swim in the decent sized and clean pool. The pool surrounds are being renovated and with the heavy rain the dug up area was a sea of mud. A short walk up the riverside street was a restaurant that served decent and reasonably priced lunches . A restaurant further up the street was great for dinner. We had planned on visiting the night market but as it was raining heavily didn't venture too far. Many shops within walking distance the next morning and prices reasonable. Breakfast was 150 Baht per person if not included with your room, cereal, toast and jam or marmalade, plus eggs and variety of local dishes. A hotel organized taxi to the airport was 400 baht.

Had a wonderful 5 nights stay in a Deluxe Sea View room. Overall my view on the hotel is clean, security is good, good location and a good view of the Chao River. The room we stayed was exactly what was photographed on the website. The only setback was the foul smell from the drain pipe. Friendly & helpful staff. Highly recommend. After experiencing staying in 2 other hotels in Krabi town, we will definitely here again if we go to back Krabi.

Well designed, new, modern and comfortable rooms, Comfy beds, clean linen, good towels. Very quiet outside as the hotel is surrounded by fields, however the maids clattering about and dragging furniture around was disturbing in the morning, perhaps attach some felt pads to the furniture legs. Shower water pressure was just OK, could be improved. TV would benefit from some more English and movie channels. Location suited me as I had a car, but a bit out of the way for the town if you have no transport. Good well lit off street car parking. Complimentary drinks tray could have included some tea bags for non coffee drinkers. The pool looked inviting but I had no time for it. Very good value for money on the late booking rate I received. I enjoyed my stay and would happily return on my regular trips to Krabi Town. My negative comments are intended to be constructive, and could easily be resolved I believe, and then the hotel would be perfect for the category, for mobile visitors.

We spent 1 night in Krabi town and came to book this hotel due to very good review on Agoda and it did not let us down. The hotel was located in the center of Krabi town which you can easily approach night market and all the temples, attractions, restaurant around and it was extremely value for money. It was totally clean and the bed was so comfy. I love this place and will definitely come back here xx

If you want to stay in Krabi town then this is the place. I have stayed here since before the airport was built, over 15 years. The pictures on Agodas website show exactly what you get. It is good value and clean. I stay in the new wing. Beds are firm. Reasonable choice of English TV including Universal, Syfy and ABC Australia. Over the road is the market where you can get some great Thai food and fresh tropical fruit. Next door is 7-11. Less than a hundred metres takes you to the riverbank promenade where at low tide you can watch the fiddler crabs and mudskippers. A short walk to the nightmarket or songthaews to Aonang/Nopparat. Behind the hotel is a market which runs Fri/Sat/Sun with food, clothes, gifts. Runs Dec-Feb and probably other months. Didn't eat here.

Arrived too early, but they were accommodating, so set the trip up nicely to start. It a big hotel so front staff are usually quite busy but are helpful once available. The pool was large and perfectly suited for our family. Our deck overlooked the mountains (hills) and was very nice. We had a corner suite so had a double deck. Overall a very nice place to stay away from Krabi town but near enough to take shuttle (1o minutes) and book your various trips. We rented a car so only stayed two days, but they were quiet, relaxing days to start us off.

4 storey bldg, well maintained! Nice staffs seen around! I was amazed by the rooms cleanliness, spacious, comfortable cozy bed, balcony with no views which wasn’t a matter at all! Wardrobes, hairdryer, kettle everything was there to make my stay great! Just a pity that Krabi Town does not have much attractions or shops to see around. Most of the time I went to Ao Nang beach with the transport taken from the hotel. 500B each way to get to & fro at your comfortable timing! Tor was very helpful and nice to chat with! The staffs were all very polite too. Breakfast has 2 types of set to choose from. A simple western set which was fine for me. If breakfast is taken at your own expense than each set is abt 150B. There’s a 7/11 within 2mins reach. Other than that the food area etc is abt 10mins walk. For this hotel I don’t mind staying again but not for the boring Krabi town! Thank you Nice Hotel😍

My partner and I booked this hotel for a single night to experience the night market in Krabi town on the way back to the airport. When we arrived there were some trendy Korean kids in the foyer that looked like they were on their way to a wedding or something. We booked with a 60% off deal, but even at full-price I think this hotel would represent fantastic value for money. It feels exclusive, beautifully decorated, and there were complimentary glass bottles of water in the fridge you'd pay more than the cost of our stay for in most European hotels

I was coming from Koh Lanta and stayed on Hop Inn Krabi just for one night before heading to Bangkok. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the wifi worked fine throughout our stay. The room is a little bit small but sufficient for just an overnight stay, it looks like an Ibis hotel room but smaller. The staff helped us to book a taxi to the airport, the price was higher than what we saw on tourist agencies on the city, however, once our flight was early in the morning, we thought that it would be safer to book on the hotel just in case we had some problem with taxi not showing up to pick us. The trip to the airport takes around 20-30 minutes. The hotel is located in Krabi town, if you are planning to stay here to explore the islands and the beaches around Krabi I wouldn’t recommend this hotel due to the distance to the pier/beaches. However, if you are looking for an accommodation close to the airport or Krabi town, this would be a good option.

I feel worth to what I pay. Room is clean and cozy with nice local town view. Room Wifi is working in good condition. Staff is friendly. They guide us as a first time visitor from SIM to restaurants, banks, tours, transports. They will give you the most reasonable suggestions as a first time visitor to the Krabi. You won't feel panic that you couldn't get your way out to discover the Krabi Town. The hotel is located at a strategic point that you can access the must go in Krabi Town just by walking. To get a transport, just having a 2 mins walk to the 7eleven located at the next street of Krabi City View Hotel. It is so much convenient and it makes my plan of discovering the town so much successful. Will definitely recommend this hotel when anyone going to Krabi Town for transit night.

I travelled here solo to get a break from the hostel scene. The location in Krabi town is great - very close to multiple markets, good restaurants, and populated area so transportation to sites is accessible. The staff was very helpful and great communicators, and my stay was exactly as expected. The place is by no means a 5 star hotel, but is very clean, organized, and worth it.

We have arrived at the krabi town quite early in the morning. Luckily the receptionist allowed us to get the early checked in at 10am. The room is so spacious, clean, neat and tidy. It's only 150m walking distance from krabi night market and very near to the riverside . 7Eleven, pharmacy, mall, night market, fruit stall, street market, massage, and even tourist information just very close nearby to the hotel. They also served halal breakfast. Overall this hotel is very affordable and worthy with the price

Chanchalay Hip Hostel is strategically located in Krabi Town with many bars, restaurants, street and night markets just a short walk away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a nice place to chill and cool off. The property is beautifully designed and has a great little cafe serving both western and thai food. I would definitely recommend this hostel to stay in during your time in Krabi Town. A BIG thumbs up from me.

We have stayed Krabi city seaview Hotel for 3nights. It has nice location not very far from Krabi pier also from Krabi town. It was about 10mins distance from hotel to the city. Also you will encounter Street food served in cheap price. A Couple of shortcomings are, facilities and convenience near Hotel. They didn't have hair dryer in the room. But has kettle in the room with 2 bottles of completmentary water and two clean glasses and mugs. There are no convenient stores or small market, so you need to walk quite while to visit 7/11 or something. Hotel provides nice breakfast options you should come down and staffs are really nice too. Also have laundry service calculated by the weight in reasonable price We enjoyed our stay in this hotel And had comfortable times

I stayed at Just Fine Krabi for 3 weeks while taking a course in the local area. The location is convenient to anywhere in Krabi Town and surrounding areas. The accommodation itself was fantastic, one of the best in the local area. The staff was absolutely amazing - very friendly and professional. The room is very spacious and decorated quite nicely. The room was also cleaned everyday without missing a beat. There is a nice common area downstairs if you don't want to hang out in your room all of the time too. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. I had friends staying in other places within Krabi Town and had horror stories about the lack of friendliness and most of all cleanliness. I have not one complaint about Just Fine. They truly are amazing. Thank you to the staff of Just Fine for making my extended stay enjoyable!

location was superb, 3 mins walk away from night market and there was a cafe right beside it with tasty western breakfast. hotel atmosphere is very homely, i love the concept of their common dining area and there's a pool table in the common area (its partially faulty tho.. 20 baht per game but it doesnt dispense all the balls). Cons: bed was very hard and pretty uncomfortable. rooms by the road doesnt have much noise cancelling but the room makes the cut for a short stop-over in krabi town. satisfied customer!

It is located right in Krabi Town where you can easily walk to several restaurants and bars along with supermarkets. The room was very clean and well furnished, including a kettle, downstairs there was a nice seating area opening out on to a market if you are there at a weekend. There are rooms without windows, be sure to check if you want to see outside. Reception is very helpful and you can book trips and taxis there without being pushy.

On our trip from Koh Tao to Koh Lanta, we made a short stop in Krabi and chose this hotel due to its good location and great ratings.  The hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the staff has definitely been one of most friendly and helpful we have ever experienced during our travels! We felt so comfortable in this hotel, that we even extended our stay in Krabi town.

we stayed at cozy place just for 1 night, before moving to ao nang for a further 4 days. the location is good - in the town centre yet tucked away so you don't get the traffic noise. it is just a short walk to the weekend night market and close to department stores, shops and restaurants. a highlight is cafe europa, almost next door, run by european expats serving great food at very reasonable prices (e.g. filet mignon steak with blue cheese and baked potato baht)and very friendly people. krabi cozy place has a small pool, which my little girls enjoyed swimming in. there are no elevators, we had a room on level 3 so we had to walk up and down everytime. facility wise they don't offer much but if you want reasonable prices and basic amenities this is the place for you in krabi town. rooms are okay - clean with tile flooring, which helps if you have allergies. the safe in our room was locked but since we were there 1 night we didn't bother getting it unlocked. the staff are friendly and they don't rip you off. they sell a large bottle of singha beer (650ml) at baht, compared to the tourist trap that is ao nang where is varies from baht. breakfast is okay but you can easily walk to many other places to have your meals. in summary, cozy place is a family run hotel that offers good value for money if you want to stay in krabi town. p/s. to cat lovers - no cats here, they have 2 dogs.
