Cozy rooms, great location, great staff”
After many visits to Koh Phangan and stays in a wide range of properties, L. J. Guesthouse has become my all time favorite place to stay in Haad Rin. The rooms are cozy and well designed. Most recently I stayed in a room where the bathroom opens up to the ocean. It’s a bit noisy at night, but quiet during the day when I’m typically sleeping. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the action on Haad Rin beach, a 1 minute walk to MIR Bar (the only bar playing good non-mainstream electronic music on this side of the island), and right outside where the boat taxis go to Haad Yuan/Eden/Guys Bar/Sanctuary. It has the benefit of easy access to any part of the island and lots of food/shops nearby. The staff is super nice and accommodating. JB was very welcoming and even invited me to an authentic home cooked dinner with his family! That was my all time favorite experience across many trips to Thailand. JB and crew are simply the best!

Perfect location and extremely friendly staff”
We had a fantastic stay at L.J. Guesthouse. Our room had an open-air bathroom with spectacular views over the beach. And even better: The owner and staff of the hotel took care of us really well, they were so nice and helped us with any questions we had. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, it has a great value for money, perfect location right on Haad Rin (the Fullmoon Party Beach), and the Thai staff are so nice that it's an unforgettable trip for sure!

Good location in haad rin, cleaned every day, very nice view from common balcony, good bed, bedding, good staff. In morning hear waves and makes sleepy. When you arrive can be difficlt to understand where to go because staff not always available. Loud music at nights, some nights untill 4am.

The. Party. Is. Close. ”
ATTENTION: Do not stay here unless you plan on listening to Techno music until 4 in the morning! Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep! You are dead center on the beach near Fubar and Drop in bar so the party is at your doorstep! The staff here are super helpful and the location is super great if you're looking to be a night owl. It's very loud, but the room is very nice. Great air con. The bed I had was like a stack of cardboard with a sheet on it, but my buddy's bed was decent. There is no hot water, so be prepared for this. It's a nice open bathroom, but nobody can see your business. The rooms are above a convenience store and only guests have the key to the ground level door to get to the rooms, where you get another key to access your room. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything outside your door or on the street. I'm giving this hotel good praise because of the price and hospitality we got from the owner. He gave us free bottles of water upon arrival and made us feel at home.

Fantastic new friends at LJ Guesthouse”
My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at LJ Guesthouse. Owner and all staff are the friendliest we have met, they showed us around the island. We play volleyball and spent each night playing with them at a local court. Everyone there was so inviting. We loved the location, and the room was one of the most unique with an open concept bathroom.

I'm very impressed here.Very cheap for the room. The room is very nice. I like bathtub sea view. I stay on bathtub and drink wine. Feel good and Nice staff. They give me some beer and surprise with a seafood dinner. The owner very kind and good service.I recommend here and will come again. One thing, This is a shop for guest on the first floor. I book only room with out breakfast but they have a coffee,tea,some fruit and bread free every time. I love them.

great location to stay for Full Moon party”
the room was overpriced, i guess its because we stayed during full moon party. we shared the room amongst 7 ppl, while its meant for 2 ppl only. The room was dusty, mattress were hard. But we didnt mind all that because the guesthouse was located right in front of the beach where the party is at.

Go to the beach, come back to the hostel, go to the bar, come back to the hostel. Room is spacy n great ocean view. Party is so close. go to the club, Dance to the music n drink, when i get tired to dance,take a nap , then go to the club. It was perfect cool hostel. The owner and staff of the guess house took care of us really well, they give us a surprise with Thai green curry and BBQ dinner for our 2 night romantic candle light dinner. The special of the room is you can bath direct in front of the sea/ beach view, if you don't mind hahaha......( Curtain is provided) The hotel is located on the party happening area, it is so loud to sleep and relax in the night time, believe it is design for party person, especially full moon celebration. they really give us good service, i recommend here and will come again in full moon.

The bathroom eas very special”
The accommodation was really special because of the uncommon bathroom. We loved to have a bath with a direct view of the beach. The staff was friendly and even offered to pick us up from a different resort which was on the other side of the island. It's a great location for shopping and restaurants. Recommend!

Don't stay here if you want hot water, wifi or sleep”
This place doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a couple years. The main room to hangout in is pretty gross and I'm not luxurious in any way. The hot water didn't work in the M deluxe suite making the bath pretty useless. We never had wifi our entire stay (3 nights) and decided to stay at Neptune for Saturday night because the music especially the bass does not stop until 5am. You can hear it through ear plugs. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but someone who wants to store their stuff and have a good party view of the beach.

Booked for the Full moon party. Pros: Location- Next to the beach Staff- Always there to help when needed Cons- Cleanliness- There were bugs everywhere. Quiteness- Dont expect to get any sleep when the party is going (until like 7am), cus you wont. Hear every word of every song.
