Where to stay in Malacca City Center

Before booked i read the review and so many guests said this apartment quite bad. However, after arrived there, the apartment is soooooo clean and beautiful. I dont get it why so many guests complained about ut. Me and my family love the apartment so much, it was clean with english-style for interior design and has nice view of Malacca city. I am recommended to family ...

Been queuing for more then 40mit to check in (I arrived hotel lobby at 3.50pm, 6.20pm to reach my room)while my turn to check in was informed one room has been upgrade to hotel tower so we stay separate tower with my parents (I booked residence tower). Over all my stay here for one night experience, my advise for you don't book residence tower as even is new hotel but ...

Its very great hotel located at the heart of Malacca city. I just want to make some complains about your gym center. The equipment is not well maintains. For the cycling equipment, I can't find the power supply to make functions button work. And also don't have a TV to customer enjoy the entertainment. Hope you can a different at the gym center.

My daughter and I like spacious room. This is one of the reason we chose The Pines. And it is in the heart of Malacca city, convenient, easy access to historical attraction places and food outlets. An incident happened on the night of our stay. My daughter was bathing at about 9.30pm. I dozed off but then woke up by some noise. Someone above my floor were jumping. I d...

The Rosa Malacca isn’t just another hotel in Malacca Malaysia. The shape every single object has been carefully considered to create a new lifestyle hotel. Symbolising European architecture with red brick walls, rendered cement, show casing a beautiful courtyard dining area. Every corner is instaworthy! Rosa Malacca, located 1 kilometres walking distance from A’Famo...

This is the third time I come to malacca, first time stay at city area. Previously I stay around jonker street. This hotel quite new in malacca city, and get the mostly higher recommendation from fb. Each room have their own bathtub, it’s so surprising me with the price which I can get a room with shower tub. So far, is the best hotel for me. Bcos it was beside the bri...

Me & wife spent a night at this hotel. The hotel is located at the centre of Malacca city. All major attraction is around walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is well designed & decorated. The environment is calm which facing a Malacca river & a evening sunset. What a surprise for us is , the bathroom is so spacious like it can be made another single ro...

the room was nice and have great atmosphere. the staff was helpful and responsive to our requests. the price was also good money value. it is located to all tourist attractions and most great places in malacca city is within walking distance from this hotel. overall, our stay in this hotel leaves good impression and great feelings inside.

really a nice hotel to stay in malacca. the location is just beside jonker walk the attractive street to visit and also at city center that close to shopping mall, historical monument/building and museum. my family also enjoy a big private jacuzzi inside the room and also night panorama view of malacca town from classic window at night. recommended hotel to sta...

The staffs are so friendly and the room is so clean and classy (even in the eyes of my girlfriend....and she‘s very choosy 😉). There was always hot and cold water available in a dispenser down the floor. The bathroom was modern and also very clean. It’s located near the city and all the tourist spots in Malacca could be reached in a short walk. We had a great vacati...

We stayed here for 3D2N and were quite skeptical initially due to the feedback from visitors staying in this hotel. Due to the affordable rate we decided to give a try. And we nvr regret! Will come back again! Pros: 1) walking distances to Menara Taming Sari 2) museum 3) Bandar Hilir 4) Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan Mall 5) Jonker Street *took GRAB for just RM4...

It was Chinese New Year and I was expecting a whole load of customers and will take a long time to check in. Surprisingly, I was wrong. The staff made an effort to serve us as fast as they could. Knowing we were not good in conversing in Bahasa Malaysia, they spoke to us in fluent English, which is very comforting. They even played Chinese new year songs to drive up th...

Nice location with cheap eateries only minutes of walking and near to the city center and the Malacca sentral bus terminal. The wooden furnishings could really use some fixings. Got a huge upgrade to a family room even though only for a solo traveler. The extra amenities provided is very much appreciated.

The hotel is situated very near to the malacca city town and it is very easy to locate the hotel. The room is very clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. And the opening of the hotel is same as my birthday,11 November. Our 2 nights stay are marvelous and fantastic. We are looking forward to stay at your hotel for our next trip

very clean. and strategic location to many places of interest in Malacca. although the hotel is in the heart of the city, but at night its very quite. room quite small for those having a small children or baby.. having a baby cot in the room might cramp the room space. choices of food is limited..however, you can opt not to have breakfast at the hotel as there are many...

Already stay here for two times. One with the family room and another one is king room. Satisfied with both type of room. The family room is spacious and comfortable for 4 people. Definitely will be staying here again if i go to malacca city centre. The only cons is no refrigerator in room. But im ok with it as the price is cheaper and compatible.

The hotel is considerably new and it is very clean and comfortable. The setting of the room is quite nice too. I am quite impress with the design. Staff was very friendly and approachable. Breakfast was ok only. I recommend to just have some bite and then go out and have some good Malacca food. Location wise..... there is good and bad in my situation. The good is that ...

Actually I book for my best friend as a surprise gift for her family have a short vacation. So that my friend doesn’t know this at all, we just communicate with her husband about this surprise. Please stay at this hotel.. :-) Firstly, the hotel is superbly located at the centre of historical places in Malacca. Jonker Street is just a three minutes walk. Cheap places to stay in Malacca City Center

It took us a while to look for it from the Dutch square where we got off the bus No.17. The guesthouse is kind of opposite a 5 star hotel. Shoes are required to take off when entering the guesthouse. We booked 2 twin rooms at first, but because we have 4 female family members, the owner suggested that we should take a family suite. It turned out to be great...it was a ...

The newly renovated hostel was very clean and just a short walk away from city center. The hospitallity and helpfullness of the owner and the staff was really good. Bought us breakfast one day, strawberries and apples another, and we always had free access to tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The owner also arranged it for us to watch a movie, and when we were leaving ...

A great place to be in Malacca! 1. Great location. Very near Jonker Street and most must-see places in Malacca. 2. Clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms are way better than the pictures online. We were really surprised! 3. Chill common room. A cozy nook to hang-out and meet new friends. 4. Kitchen equipped with water heater and water filter (no need to buy bottle...

I hope the owner of this hostel could do some improvement on their WiFi accessibility, I was staying at the 1st floor and unfortunately there was no WiFi available there at all. In overall, the services are very good. If you're searching for a budget and strategic hostel for sightseeing in Malacca, I would like to suggest this hostel. it's located 20 minutes of walki...

I stay 4d3n from 21 till 24 June 2012, it was a pleasant stay. At first I couldn't find the place, luckily I had a phone with GPS. The easiest way to identify Travellers Planet Hostel is Bunga Raya Pork Porridge restaurant which is just across the street. In front of the hostel can see the new landmark in Malacca which is the Taming Sari tower. To the right, there ...

Sparkling clean environment and good location, powerful aircond to deal with hot weather of malacca! Outside of hostel got alot of parking(on the roadside). Only one point which need improvement, the shared bathroom only got 2 in my floor which I think not really enough.

It's good enough for us to stay for one night attending friend's wedding at Malacca. We booked the mini deluxe room and there are two windows! I find the blind interesting although some said it can't screen off the sunlight fully..?? Although there are small stains on the bedsheet & blanket, the room and toilet is clean. However I think it's time for the hotel to get s...

Very helpful personnel - I arrived very late, even after the reception is closed, but the guy waited for me and then took me to eat where he was going for the late dinner too:) Comfortable matresses. Clean bathrooms and overall clean hostel. Basic breakfast(toast with jam, nutella etc). What can you expect what this price?) The only downside is that hostel is a bit far...

first time going to malacca, this was a great hotel to stay cause the reception ladies/ men during the night are very nice. they even show us what are the places to visit and a map is also given to us. they even tell us to give them a call if we get lost. i would stay in the same hotel again if i visit malacca the next trip. as for food i tried the famous chicken rice ...

Such a good place to stay in malacca, it is a bit far from the main town area but they do offer free bicycle rentals which is awesome. Capsules are cosy and clean, bathroom always clean, warm showers. Staff are friendly, however didn’t help too much with an early check in I had requested in advance after explaining that we would have been traveling all night. Would def...

Mr Kee met us at check in, and we had another encounter with Mrs Kee before leaving Malacca. they both had a lot of information about what to see, do or eat around town and it is the best to hear from a local on things like this. The twin room was very comfortable, with both a fan and A/C, and bathroom only 2 steps away. This is in a very good location as you could wal...

It was a last minute booking via agoda.(Booked at 5pm same day of arrival) We decided to drive up to Malacca for a quick get away. They even have a rain shower :) Just outside the hotel, once you cross the road, there are a f...

Was not expecting to used shared shower/ toilets.. but it turned out okay, as the shared shower/ toilets are really clean. The place is just beside "One Hotel" in the same building. The building looks new and just by the main road, very easy to spot. Close to main road and not suitable for light sleepers, room is not sound proof and u will hear ppl walking and talking ...

The room is spacious, clean and location is near to Malacca city center which is a plus to tourist. The only thing need to take note is the bathroom floor. The bathroom floor is too slipery even it's dry. It's only 5mins walk to Jonker Street and there are few famous food stalls (non halal) near the junction of the main road to the hotel. Overall we are satisfied with ...

The hotel was beyond my expectation. It really surprised me with the classy lobby and chic room decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. Quality bed/beddings, Good breakfast spread. Superb location as its quite near city center and famous 'asam pedas and malay kuih' stall just next to the hotel. Will definitely be back.

We were desperate for a hotel near the famous Jonker district in Malacca but most were fully booked 2-3 weeks prior. That was until we stumbled upon this newly opened Venus Boutique Hotel. At that point, there were no reviews whatsoever that we could rely on. Girlfriend had her reservations but we booked it anyway because of its proximity to the attractions and nice lo...

I searched for the value for money accomodation for my short trip in Melaka last week and I found this hostel a good place to stay. Looking forward to staying again. However there are few suggestions I would like this hostel to take into considerations. The wifi signal was bad since I stayed on your room on the third floor. So I think it is best if you could use a wifi...

Nicely kept little hotel that has all you need for a weekend getaway. Staff are very helpful & nice. Great location - very close to the town center. 10 minutes to Jonker walk. main attractions in Malacca are not more than 15 minutes away. Not a lot of food options in the immediate vicinity of the hotel on the weekends though.

The stay is very comfortable, room facility is complete, aircond is good enough, covered parking is secured with access card, the house is very clean, same goes to toilet and bedrooms and bedsheets, need to have own mobile data connection as the house do not have WiFi provided due to new property. Recommended go for City View type of room unless you like to see the Poo...

Our stay at De Villa was a real mixed bag. The simplicity of the room, cleanliness, collection of antique furniture and decor was gorgeous and unique. In that respect De Villa was by far my favorite place I have stayed. However there were several factors that would prevent our returning. Firstly, it was a bit of a way out of town. We are big walkers, but did not feel e...

Great flat. Lots of room. Can fit 8+ people in it easily. Lots of facilities in the complex to keep you entertained eg swimming pool and exercise equipment. There is a squash court and table tennis but you have to bring your own equipment. There is a little shop under one of the towers and a 7-11 nearby (5 minute walk across a main road). You can grab taxi to Jonker St...

1-Simple direction note provided by the owner and very good communication. 2-Nice and good looking environment property. 3-Tidy & clean house also comfortable bed!!! 4-Seriously, all places that i was planning to go just nearby and not to far. Just take 5-10minutes to bandar hilir & klebang beach. 5-Recommended to stay!

The host is kind, generous and full of info on the surrounding area as well the apartment itself.. We are allowed to check in early, our studio room is super clean and specious. Is perfect for us 3 adult 1 child. There is mini bar snack complimentary for us too. Thank you so much. I will definately come back for another stay.

Friendly staff and very prompt in responding to queries. Well maintained and clean apartment. Ample parking. However, only 1 access card provided and you need the card to power on the air cond in the room and to have access to the lift. Good to have at least one additional card so that if someone want to go out, others can still stay without losing the air cond . O...

The unit was very clean and I felt stay in five star hotel. The person in charge was very friendly and even guided us to some places that we can visit. Its located in town area and will definitely suggest for families that are travelling. The master room with 2 queen bed, second room with child bunk bed and third room with 1 queen and 1 single bed.

Wonderful condo unit given to us with nice view of the straits of Malacca. Only two things that disturbed us during our stay: 1) construction work on adjacent land with terrible noise from the piling. thank god the noise was only during daytime 2) no Wifi facility, reason was that condo is still new

I'm booking the room in a big group.(5 room).During my check in :- - I need to go to InnStay office to collect the key/card which is too far from the apartment. - After find the office,I need to wait another 20 minute to get another 2 room with reason, the room is still under cleanliness(time know is about 4pm).- After waiting too long, the girl(reception/front office ...

We absolutely loved our three-day stay at the Majestic Malacca! From the moment we stepped into their beautiful reception hall, we were treated right royally! But the concierge called the company on our behalf and even went out of his way to collect the bag from the bus te...

Amadel's Residence is an ideal accommodation for a family vacation. I love the location because most of the tourist attraction is just nearby of it. The two nights stayed truly value for money and also it's clean environment provided a comfortable stay. The kitchen is great with the best amenities included basic kitchen needs. The host Mr.Sean very helpful and gave u...

I don't think its exaggerate to said this is the best "home" accommodation i have stayed so far. 1. The owner is so friendly and thoughtful. me and my family travel during CNY. As we scared it will be jam, so we depart at 5am and reach around 10 am. all of us are tired and we wish to check in earlier, around 1pm(normal check in time is 3pm). I try to contact the owner...

Very friendly and detailed owner with fast response always! Going beyond service by sharing places of interest/food in Malacca when one does not need to. Place is beautiful as shown in pictures and very clean too. Will surely stay again if I am there in Malacca soon. 👍

My pleasant stay on the weekends this is one of the best places stayed in Melaka. The place is so clean and well maintained and depicted as you see in photos and attracting swimming pool will ensure to spend time, and great value for money for the pax 4-6 people.

It is very suitable for family stay. Fantastic if you have three family come together. For one family (up to 6 pax), recommend to rent ground floor. The place is near to town centre, but even within walking distance, suggest to drive since Malacca doesn't have friendly pedestrian way. If you have young kids, do drive. The owner is very nice. The house is clean ...

Our family enjoyed stayed @ LineFriends Home. The owner lady named Samantha provided all accessories that you need. Coffee machine also provided. We had a good stay in this service apartment. It was clean, beds are comfy, toiletries and towels are provided. You can see the sea side from afar. Huge apartment with city view. Comfortable bed & big bathroom. Location is away from the hectic town & traffic. Lots of facilities & big pool for kids & adults to spend their time. Awesome & friendly host even when we arrive more than an hour late. Keyless entrance & easy check in. Hopefully in times to come can add more internet tv channel so that we don't have to go...

Okay for 4-5 people. 3 people can sleep in the bderoom and 1 person can stay at sofa in living room. Pillow is not not good but bed is Okay. Extra mattress is like prison mattress 1-inch thick!!. TV channels limited. for RMTiga Ratus, you can find a much better hotel

The place is very well maintain, very clean. Have great sea view from living room and bedroom windows. Cooking facilities working well, suitable for family with kids, can cook light meal for them during the stay. Not to forget the kids pool is great. Must bring along swimming costume for kids to let them have fun.
