High tech hostel with modern furnishings”
I enjoyed my stay at the Moni Gallery Hostel. It is close to the Lavender MRT station and borders Little India. The rooms were spacious, air-conditioned and spotlessly clean. The wireless internet worked well and there was a kitchen where you could drink from a water cooler. There was even a recreation room on the second floor.

Homely and Clean small hotel to stay ”
During my stay in Moni Gallery Hostel, I mostly feel satisfied with all conditions of the hostel. The cleanliness, the location, the service are some conditions to mention. Compared with hotel, this hostel has some advantages, those are home feeling atmosphere for the guest like me so that I can do any activities such as making some food based on my own tastes since pantry is provided, browsing internet easily, etc. I think this hostel is very good place to stay for anybody.

Nice and Clean”
hostel was located close to main street of little india/lavender street where the famous singapore 24hrs mustafa shopping mall is. not too far from train station as well. location is good and easy access to travel around touristy places. vareity of asian cuisine food stall/restraunts around the area with reasonable price.simple breakfast provided etc biscuits,bread toast with jam spread, but not only that you could have it the whole day. cleanliness,interior,service, staff was good hands down! i was expecting some dodgy kind of hostel but moni proof me wrong... keep it up guys! had a pleasant stay there would definitely recommend to others.

wonderful hostel with great arts”
great experience to live in moni gallery hostel in 3 nights! super nice staff n great environment !! the top up part is an entertainment room with a table tennis table!!! great view in the top up n hv a sharp red wall with wonderful painting in the front dest area !!! with providing serval notebooks, it's so great for mo to serach travel information n check the news n email !! great hostel with chealp price!!

Great cozy hostel in the city”
It is certainly the best hostel I have stayed in in Singapore. Everything you need is in the hostel and the staff our nice. I highly recommend Moni Gallery Hostel. 24 hrs free coffee, tea,bread with jams plus free water. Free use of laptops and ipad definitely beat other hostels not to mention the comfy lounges. Nice!

If you are on an adventure in this foreign country and would want to be smart in budgeting your money for your trip, Moni Gallery Hostel is the best place to stay in Singapore. It's located at the heart of the city state. It's very clean, and well maintained. Not to mention the unlimited and 24/7 free breakfast and wifi. Two thumbs up!

Nice and clean place to stay ”
I and my sister arrived at Moni Gallery Hostel from Changi Airport at around midnight (sunday) and at first we were so worried because lights were turned off and we thought we're gonna wait for sunrise before we could check-in but the good news was LATE CHECK-IN is allowed at this small yet comfortable hotel. If you know how to commute in singapore, the hotel is one of the most convenient places to stay. All you have to do is to buy/reload a contactless smart card (e.g EZ Link or NETS, etc...) at mrt stations or more conveniently at 7 eleven stores, top it up with enough credit you need while staying in singapore, then you can hop on and off buses and mrts and enjoy sightseeing places at a cheaper cost. Of course, as much as possible, don't forget to bring a bus map of singapore. If you can't have one, you can see the routes at bus stops or may ask bus drivers for directions upon boarding. In singapore, most bus drivers can speak good english. Another option is to ask the hotel's staff for guided or package tours. Moni Hotel is just one bus-ride to major sights and hotels such as suntec city, botanic gardens (Bukit Timah entrance), orchard road (Ngee Ann City) and most of all, the hotel is close to shopping malls like Mustafa Centre (opens 24/7)and City Square Mall and it is also just few minutes away on foot to Little India (along Serangoon Road) where we can buy cheap souvenirs and eat cheap and good singaporean and malaysian food. If you become tired of walking, no problem, there is a restaurant just across the hotel. To sum things up, we really had a nice and memorable time at this hotel decorated with art works which made it even more relaxing to stay.

The Hotel situation is clean also the price is very good (cheap if Solo Traveler) But last week stay at Moni Gallery Hostel, can't sleep because i same room with the other guys, while the guy snore if sleep soundly Hopefully this weeks can sleep well

Artistic Hostel and Service with a Smile”
a short trip to singapore, decided to try out backpackers hostel in sg. great interior, clean enviroment, staff - the 1st time i walk in i didnt felt that welcome, but after starting a conversation with them i found out they were friendly helpful bunch of people. 24hrs pantry with free bread toast biscuits coffee and tea. movies,games, guitars in the recreational room,invitingly comfortable beds. what more could i ask for such a hostel.thanks . sure to visit moni again! =d

Moni Gallery Hostel is unique in such way that it features many art work which include painting, sculptures and installations. It is clean and well managed. The rooms are nice and comfortable to stay. The atmosphere is quiet and serene. And it is safe as well. Location is nice, peaceful and accesible to shopping centers, eating joints and transportations stations.

Excellent location, friendly and quiet”
Found the place really easy, but if you are not sure exactly where it is, you can take the virtual tour. There are two exits, the one you need to take is not the one closest to wear the ticket booth is. You have to walk underground for a little bit, but once you do and go up the escalator to the main road; you can't help but see the hostel right in front of you. It is just like they say on their website. The service is great, free use of computers, a reading room, TV room and room to sit outside and enjoy a coffee if you like. You can even buy food at a local 7 eleven and use the refrigerator. Just make sure to use the marker and put your bed number and name on it before placing it the fridge. Coffee is 1 Singapore dollar and the machine only takes 20 cent coins. I found it better just to buy some 3 in 1 stick at the 7 eleven and make my own. They have a machine with hot and cold water as well as cups, bowls, plates and silverware (all free to use), just wash them when done. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was great as well. All in all I found it a great place to relax, especially if you intend on spending most of your time walking around. Great value for the money!!!

Good place to enjoy the trip”
The location and quality of room did not let my disappointed. We stayed in 6 beds mixed room. It was very convenience and clean. Although breakfast was simple but it was great with toast, jam and fruit also. Two guys at the receptionist are very friendly. They gave us good recommendation about place place to go, things to do and food to eat. If you want to explore around, find new friends Moni is the best place to stay in Singapore.

Comfortable and Very Clean. Good Location”
best location, the mrt subway is just right in front and one of the biggest food center is only 5 min walk. the 24 hours mustafa supermarket is only 10 min walk. the subway line is directly link to sentosa, is very easy to go to universal studio. just 15 to 20 min away. little india, chinatown, clark quay is also on the same line. its really very convenient to go any where. interior of the hostel is very new and very well designed. beds are big and comfortable. staff is very friendly too.

Friendly staff, clean place to stay, great locate”
everyone in the hostel were so friendly. if there's anything you need just ask and the staffs and they are more than happy to lend you a hand. even if there's is nothing you need, they are still friendly to talk to. the bed was clean, pillow and blanket provided. the hotel is close to boon keng mrt exit c, so you don't have to take a taxi to the hostel if you arrived at singapore before 11pm. the hostel is also near many food courts and restaurants. the laptops at the stations are high end machines, but you might want to bring your own mouse. i can't stress enough the fact that the staffs are the reason i would stay here again.

Easy and comfort”
We stayed in Moni Gallery Hostel in group of 29 pax (include 4 young children). During the check-in, we found that the rooms that we booked were not available; but the staff offered other more spacious rooms as a compensation. Overall, our 3-night stay in this hostel were satisfactory.

The cleanest hostel I have ever stayed”
My stay at Moni Gallery Hostel was much better than anticipated. The hostel is clean, spacious, and in a shophouse that is very well decorated like a gallery. They have laptops for guests to use as well as high speed connection. There is are also lounge areas to hang out.

The location was central to our needs for this trip. It was easily accessible from different parts of the city and close to some major shopping areas.Value for money,kind staff,pleasant surrounding,clean. Nice to have free wi-fi and a simple breakfast.
